I lived in Sg. Penchala area before covid. There are many nasi campur places there and the area surrounding. Haven't been back there since covid, so I'm not sure what the food scene is like there nowadays. Back then it still had the kampung vibes despite being surrounded by development. Maybe you can go check it out and explore.

Despite the name Ayam Masak kurma, it doesnt involve Kurma (date) at all. It is originally an Indian/Pakistan dish. Just like curry, the dish has been altered to suit local taste bud since long time ago. Ayam Kurma is very savory and mild because it doesn't cook with chili paste. The little spicy taste is coming from the black pepper uses in the spice

wong u should try nasi campur at seksyen 8 s.alam,i think there is about 30-40 dish in that shop..kedai dlm kawasan perumahan,depan skolah tadika antarabangsa..and also nasi lemak seksyen 6 depan kedai runcit,makcik jual pakai payung,kena pergi awal pagi,pkul 9 biasa dh hbis,rendang ayam/daging mantap
Would like to recommend Restoran Jaring at Sunway Mentari. There are a huge selection foods there. Besides downstairs sitting , there are also sitting uptairs. Best come before 12 noon for lunch.
As for Kurma Ayam .. I like the one at Restoran Kayu in SS 2

Ayam Kurma aka Korma has no dates in it. Its one of those few dishes that is meant to be not spicy or very mild but some malaysans may modify it to make more spicy but its intended not to be spicy. When i was younger i used to think it had dates too.
I think every malaysian kid went through this haha

The kurma is sort of curry using spices without red chilli and 11:38 crispy vege is the tapioca/ cassava young leaves fried with anchovies.
Kurma=date is a fruit. That what we always had for fasting/Ramadhan
Ayam kurma almost like curry chicken but without curry in it... Curry is a mixed of herbs. Kurma also a mixed of herbs without curry leaves in it..chicken kurma usually serve in raya/wedding.

agree that motorcycle on highway was not supposed to happen. but here in malaysia, there were too many highways and less development for the federal route for motorcyclist to use. my previous workplace is not even accessible using normal road. i think it is impossible to force people to come to work only by car..

Ayam kurma and ramadhan kurma is 2 diff thing. Ramadhan kurma is the date. Ayam kurma is chicken cook with special kurma spice usually add bing chunk of shallot, tomatoes and potatoes. Yess the gravy is addicting you can simply eat the gravy and rice or even with bread. ❤❤

It is compulsary to turn on the lights for motorcycles for safety purpose. If the lights lights up, other road user can easily spot them and put more precaution for the motorcyclist safety.

I mean at school, we have topic in Sivik if i remember it right.. topic for us to 'live harmony with neighbours' something like that.
& Moreover, Islam taught is that 40 houses around them, right, left, upper, down, back, front, are Neighbours so we need to always be good to them.
So that i think basically why we always being good to our neighbours aside from the tradition(?) from our mom & dad.

Beside the sauces and budu there is a small bowl to put the budu, add lime and chili to flavour the budu to your liking, as budu straight up is just fishy and salty. I like to have budu with fried chicken or fish
