After that 1st burger 🍔 I thought everything after would be a disappointment but I was wrong. That last place was so cool, like stepping back in time. Very enjoyable video, nicely done Jon & AK.
Hi Jon, You have no idea what pleasure I get from your video tours. I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and I love the food tours of Manhattan and the five boroughs. Your channel is not to be missed. Happy Holidays, Peter
Holy cow. I wanna hit ever burger on this list. Not long ago I was in Milwaukee and had my first butter burger at Solly's Grill. I had no idea we had them here.
I would eat any one of the burgers, frankly. All day burger run... followed by a two day nap! Great video. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Jon- it was sooo good to see Lexington Candy Shop! My high school was 1 blk away in mid 80s. The candy. The egg creams. Gonna go there soon because you posted this! Major nostalgia! Great place
Every burger looked super deeeelicious.. Wallet light, 7th St would be my jam coz $11 minus a tip would do it. Nothing says Americana more than a luncheonette... My first thought goes to the Woolworth counter. This is all beautiful and yummy food, to be enjoyed as much as possible. Costwise, homemade will serve more, of course. Two extra thumbs up for those beautiful fries at the luncheonette, and the soda jerk. ❤❤❤😊
Am new to the channel and really enjoyed this video. Love cheeseburgers. Would love to try the first place. Love the Korean twist on that burger and the sesame seed buns from the bakery looked really good. Thanks guys!! 😊😎
Thank for sharing. Rating burgers is harder than rating pizza especially on the Easy Coast. I grew up on Long Island where most people prefer traditional burgers that are simple like "All American" in Massapequa.
I have been to Umami Burger and the Korean burger would push it over the cliff with Korean BBQ sauce and fried mushrooms and carmelized onions to add even more umami flavor. 7th Street burger isn't pretty but looks good, and needs tomatoes and lettuce to give it crunch and cold freshness.
Congrats HERE BE BARR for another good video and congrats to ACTION KID too!! Wanna come back to NYC asap!! I take this chance for wishing you a MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Greetings from MILANO-Italy
Im from Texas my mom moved to New York for work what I realized is New Yorkers and New York is cool af the people are chill despite what you see these arent all woke people communist. They are just like people from here but theres something special in the air there its awesome. Next time I roll up Im going to hit this spot
7th st is just fine. If I wanted a no frills greasy burger on potato bun, i'd just go to White Manna, or a diner. But for convenience, price, and simplicity, it's hard to beat.
It's called a 'Candy Store' - used to have many of them in NYC at almost every corner. They would sell Magazines / Newspapers / School Supplies / etc.. Plus great food and egg-creams at the counter. Yes growing up in the 60's was sort of awesome .
Awesome sauce I’m going to try the ice cream Coca-Cola soda and the butter burger. No I’m hungry merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for all the awesome sauce videos.
Ha, ha, the coke float was my drink of choice around age 12 to 14 - only it wasn't a coke float, it was a Pepsi float! Haven't had one in many a year. Thanks for the vid.
So awesome Jon! Definitely have to check out 7th St burger! I lived on E83rd and Third for a bit, and grew up with family on the UES. been to the Lexington Candy Shop numerous times! Glad you enjoyed!
Review the Brooklyn Deli on 211 West 43rd St, it’s awful. Their pastrami roll/sandwich that the bring to your table looks nothing like it does on their menu. The place was empty when we went there, that was a massive red flag
I'm vegetarian, but the Nowon Burger looks the best. The second one doesn't appeal because I don't like the idea of a Big Mac/Shake Shack mustardy kind of sauce. The Butter burger in the third one is based off of what they specialize in Wisconsin.
The Korean burger looks great, but for $21.00 it should come with fries. Thanks for reminding me about the Lexington candy shop. In comparing 7th Ave burgers and shake shat, I would talk about the quality of the meat. 7th Ave did not look so good, but it's only $6.50. Shake shat has a good quality meat and worth the $8.00.
A couple of blokes and their burgers 🍔…a great round up of places to try, the Korean version was the best in my opinion, not fast food as you say. Looks delicious 😋 ❤❤
Great video. I’ve been to Lexington Candy, the place is so interesting and legendary, although I thought the food to be a little bland honestly. My favorite burger is either the one from Emmy squared, or the Nobody’s burger at nobody told me near Columbia. also, the burger at I think it’s called Jackson hole diner? The original is in Queens, but I went to the one on East 64th.
The guy on the left ate it upside down. Totally different burger than the creator intended. I'd be a little frustrated to see someone do that if I made it.
🍔🍔🍔 The Korean Burger looks really good. I use to love Smokey burger on 44th Street. It is no longer open. The Lexington Ave place seems like a vintage retro diner.🥧☕🍔
Couple NYC places I'd recommend for burgers: Molly's Shebeen (don't know why but this Irish pub does excellent well pub burgers served with excellent fries or onion rings or a mix of both. They also have a good draft Guinness of course as well. For fancy burgers, I like Wollensky's Grill. It's my favorite steakhouse burger by a lot and pretty reasonable for the quality served with waffle fries.
IMHO, the best burger in NYC is actually served at Sarge's, which is one of the last true NYC delis we still have in town. Shake Shack, Black Iron Burger, Whitman's... they're all great, but even for a jaded New Yorker like me, Sarge's burger beats them all. Every single item in their burgers, from the patty to the onions to the fries it comes with, is premium.
Don't count out 5 napkin burger. They're also very good. Was sorry to see the 1 on east 14th Street close but still have 2 other locations. Back in the day the egg creams used to be served with a pretzel rod on the side
I admit it: I get lured in by the advertising pix. I was expecting to see an oversized burger (according to the advertising pic). I'm not criticizing, but what was "advertised" and what was presented wasn't the same. I just watched another clip on a unique and good burger. Par for the course.

Holly God bless me 🙌😍😇🇺🇸
I was KFC employee here's in Karachi Pakistan
I've been dreaming of the Nowon burgers ever since I had one! Kimchi burger is unlike anything I've ever had.
That one looked amazing from top to bottom. The look on both your faces showed how good it was.
likewise
Love your presentation skills Low key, spot on, relaxed, watchable. Thanks for the nostalgia.
After that 1st burger 🍔 I thought everything after would be a disappointment but I was wrong. That last place was so cool, like stepping back in time. Very enjoyable video, nicely done Jon & AK.
Love this episode so much. Second to the pizza episode. Keep em coming.
Your videos are great. I grew up in NY and still learn so much from your videos.
wow that first burger looked amazing. if i ever get to go to new york, i want to try that one.

The owner is an excellent promoter of his restaurant. Thumbs up I have to visit!!!!!❤❤
ou!! that Coke float and butter burger at the diner look so good!
:)

How I Met Your Mother vibes from this video😊
hahaha
I'm just back from a trip to NYC, and you HAVE to check out George Motz's Hamburger America. Best I've ever had.
Im from Texas my mom moved to New York for work what I realized is New Yorkers and New York is cool af the people are chill despite what you see these arent all woke people communist. They are just like people from here but theres something special in the air there its awesome. Next time I roll up Im going to hit this spot
Yea but there’s still a lot of commies here.
Just moved out of nyc into Jersey and it’s the best decision I ever made.
That 7th Street burger looks like last week. Was is it good?
Action Kid is like your Lydia ☺️
hahahah if Lydia walked 10 miles a day
7th st is just fine. If I wanted a no frills greasy burger on potato bun, i'd just go to White Manna, or a diner.

It’s called a bodega, not a “candy store” and they are still on every street.
Checking this out when i touch down
Minetta Tavern NYC $38 Black Label burger is insane.
No Won is so good! They have another location of Jefferson Street in Bushwick Brooklyn
Great catching this in the moment. U rock Sir
I’d like to try the 7th Street one
Awesome sauce I’m going to try the ice cream Coca-Cola soda and the butter burger. No I’m hungry merry Christmas to you and your family and thank you for all the awesome sauce videos.
0:07 NoWon looks absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to trying that burger one day. #ThatFoodieLife
man, i recently moved to NY and your videos are pure gem for newcomers, keep doing that 💪
Ha, ha, the coke float was my drink of choice around age 12 to 14 - only it wasn't a coke float, it was a Pepsi float! Haven't had one in many a year. Thanks for the vid.
Looks delicious 😋
finally a place putting raw onions on burgers! looks so good
Oh yes! That butter burger requires an instant nap after you finish that adventure! Great content, as always!
I wish you Happy Christmas, enjoy your holidays and Happy New year. Here Be Barr is one of my best yt channel!!! Greetings from Czech republic.
So awesome Jon! Definitely have to check out 7th St burger! I lived on E83rd and Third for a bit, and grew up with family on the UES. been to the Lexington Candy Shop numerous times! Glad you enjoyed!

It's Butter Burger time in New York 👨🍳🍔🤤🍔🤤🧈
Look yummy
First Korean burger 🍔 looks much more edible. I'll try it.
Nowon is amazing, I live one block away and have prob gained 15 pounds from going there so often for the burger
That looks delicious 😋 Merry Christmas Jon and AK😊🎄✨

100% agree $21 for burger with no fries..mental
This is NYC where things are very expensive..
I know since I live in NYC. It's still cheap not to include fries, which the restaurant can afford. @klins118 agrees with me.@@t7710-e2q
*THEM LOOKED LIKE SOME GOOD BURGERS - MADE US HUNGRY - LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
A couple of blokes and their burgers 🍔…a great round up of places to try, the Korean version was the best in my opinion, not fast food as you say. Looks delicious 😋 ❤❤
I ❤that you and AK are restaurant buddies. 👏
George Motz Burger Diner -- please review :-)
Love the heavily sesame'd bun with double stacked patty at Nowon and the fries at Lexington Luncheonette looked positively scrumptious! YUM😋
Love 7th street burger. They also have off the menu animal style fries
I love eating yummy burgers.....
These str some great spots. Now i want a Coca Cola float 😎
Curiosita ! Dopo tuuti questa carne, formaggio salsine varie come siete messi con il colesterolo ?

These all looked awesome. Coke floats were huge for me growing up in the UK in the 80s…I’ll have to try that diner when I come to NYC next!
🎉🎉🎉
Thank you!! That korean cheeseburger YUM😊
for what price this burger , please
Nowon burger looks good. But no kimchi for me. Extra onions r needed!
7th street burger is good but it reminds me of the Wendy’s burger flavor but better
Thank you for your video. But please get rid of that annoying music. Merry Christmas 🎄 to all. 🤗👍
Who's swinging the camera now for you ? Love your videos!
I got a referral from another UA-camr and he's been with me since Ben fell ill. He's really progressing well.
What do you guys get paid for these promotions?
We used to call a coke float a ‘brown cow’.
Lexington Candy Shoppe is an absolute legend of a place.
Jon I will make sure to get a good burger next time I'm in NYC.
Umami seasoning? Can't tell me? It's MSG.
The guy on the left ate it upside down. Totally different burger than the creator intended. I'd be a little frustrated to see someone do that if I made it.
Hi 👋 John
Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger!!!
Todo el mundo se ha convertido en expertos de hamburguesas. Que raro.
What’s in it? MSG
🍔🍔🍔 The Korean Burger looks really good. I use to love Smokey burger on 44th Street. It is no longer open. The Lexington Ave place seems like a vintage retro diner.🥧☕🍔
$21 is not bad for a burger like that definitely worth the money
"I can't get that Korean burger out of my mind!!!" YUM!!!
Yeah NYC could have 100 videos on this topic.
Ask the owner if he drew comics before.
$21 for a deluxe burger in NYC?? I frequently pay that in San Diego! I’m impressed!
@edvaira6891 Just curious where in San Diego?😊
IMHO, the best burger in NYC is actually served at Sarge's, which is one of the last true NYC delis we still have in town. @sergioquirosv and my impression of Sarge’s was - the best pastrami sandwich 😂😂😢😊😅
Its never come back , hold it
I remember seeing jae lee on munchies a few weeks ago.
if u havent already done so, would like u to review the Emmy Burger. thanks.
Don't count out 5 napkin burger. They're also very good. Was sorry to see the 1 on east 14th Street close but still have 2 other locations. Back in the day the egg creams used to be served with a pretzel rod on the side

Tons of places in NYC still doing egg creams actually...
❤👍
I like the idea of the kimchi sauce, but I think I'd ask for the kimchi on the side.
Because it's cheaper to live inside than an apartment?
The title should of been Why are the non New yorkers addicted to theses burgers
Need ur take on hamburger America
Living in China my dream is to become American one day 🇺🇸
