Thank you Tim! I lived in the “third world” in South America for years and the quality of the food found in the markets was incredible, as well as the cheapest thing. It was the processed food in the supermercados that was expensive, for rich people. It took us months to get accustomed to the bland fruits and vegetables we had available to us when we came back to the states. .

These immigrants have gotten soft! When I grew up in Romania as a young child we would have to go wait once a month in line for hours in the rain to get our food rations like milk, cheese, eggs, etc. We had to wait 3 1/2 years just to get our Visa to come to America and then it took 6 more years of being good people to get our Citizenship. The airlines lost our luggage when we arrived in California from Romania so we only had our clothes on us with hardly any money, but yet for some reason I had hope for the first time :)

Now I'm an adult and not so poor and i can choose, because I'm not so poor. So, are these people wealthy enough to choose, because they seem like they are and they're disappointed with their service? I do understand worrying about things being healthy for the family. But people thinking like this aren't living the kind of poor I experienced. I'm curious what they expected.

Ratings are not really viable in general. McDonald's has a 5 start rating, but so does the Michelin start restaurant the next town over. So what does that rating even mean?
As for the US the most of the restaurants under $25 a person are just the rehashed version of a Sysco foods menu. There is no distinction or variety besides possibly the shape of the thing they are putting in the fryer. There is great food in America, its just hidden behind a $150 prix fixe menu or layers and layers of bar food competition.

Dudes who are fit won't want to waste their caloric intake for the day on shitty food. That's what I do when I'm in a new place in the US. I have stayed at a homeless shelter before. The food was god awful. Especially breakfast. Most of it was extremely old. Some even had mold on it. Lunch and dinner half the time was disgusting. When it wasn't it was barely decent. Now I eat cheap most of the time. The food I like is usually cheap. So I'm not some fancy eating snob. So I'll agree with the illegals here. Gross.

There probably getting decent food but like the article said they cant work yet (so they have no money) but they would rather buy their own food. So they probably just want some money will eat the cheapest shit possible or probably still eat for free and pocket the cash! Lol

Americans allowed corporation to absolutely eff them over in all aspects. You use pesticides, artificial flavors and stuff, that are forbidden in most civilized regions of the world.
Most Americans don’t know the taste of real juicy fruit and natural grown vegetables. And they use so much sugar and grease everywhere….
