Doing a bomber build using a scepter and the new acid flask cold conversion unique catalyst, scaling throwing dmg to buff the falcon, acid flask, and my cold converted explosive trap. I have the explosive trap set up so that it throws out acid flask on detonation, and my falcon can also throw out acid flasks, it's really fun. Solved mana using the "+throwing dmg -throwing attack mana cost" on my rings, a bit of mana regen, and some reduced mana cost nodes in explosive traps tree
Oh wow that’s interesting, I’ve been stacking throwing damage but was scared to use poison flaks since I know it has been really weak. I might give that a go
Do you mind sharing a build planner? Would love to see it idea sounds interesting. Are you using Shift as the only defensive/resource management tool then?
Chaos bolts has been a blast to play. The skill reminds me of cross between forbidden rite and blazing salvo. It does an insane amount damage. I found a unique scepter called "Firestarter's Touch" very early in the campaign and it has been amazing. Ignite chance into bleed chance has been very strong
@@Tenkiei I have seen bleed and torment versions of the Warlock. Planned to go bleed. Found a Calamity and now I am really liking the way my ignite damage is feeling. I spec'd out of bleed on CB and leaned more into the fire portion. Ghostflame is pretty tasty. The new idea is to go left and make a Flamelock
man ballistas look so good now, there so much i want to experiment with for them. it looks great to just roll straight crit/dmg ballistas but that ignores a ton of synergies with other skills and scaling, so its hard to justify testing it out especially with how little i get to play also, mana.
That's why made the decision to play offline. I've been through one too many launches and just want to enjoy the game. I'll play online for a 2nd char later.
If someone is going to assume I'm cheating for being offline when there's extreme widespread server issues they're fucking stupid. Gonna be honest, if I wasn't playing offline right now I wouldn't be playing at all. It's not worth fighting through constant server issues when there's plenty of other games to play atm. So I'm offline and happily enjoying LE.
The nerfs were pre-release, and honestly they were warranted. Sky signal was way too strong and perma-stunning bosses was not really OK. The build is still incredible.
I'm completely mistaken, and didn't realize that his crit chance is based on your highest in the actual character sheet. I thought it was reflected in "minion crit chance." now it makes sense, so nvm.
I'm still trying to theory craft a build revolving around shadow falcon and dive bomb. I think there's potential for it to be better than bows with heavy investment, just trying to figure out how to get the flat damage properly@@Tenkiei

Firestarter's torch is a great item, and yeah chaos bolts looked super strong, I'm looking forward to trying it myself later.

Many people going with this bird build but I decide to go necro minions. First unique drop I get was arrowguard XD
One of my early drops was a 2LP Aberrant's Call haha.

That was a horrible idea. Offline is very mod-able so people are just going to just assume you're cheating if you're offline@@Tenkiei

Some numbers were changed in the week between announcement of falconer skills and the patch notes. So, pre release

how does cri strike chance help with the falcon pet here?
There's a node that gives it a portion of your crit chance and you benefit from your own crit on other nodes

falcon doesn't benefit from that increased crit chance on your gear

You keep saying "balistas" but am i blind or do i really not see them...
They’re spawned by an explosive trap skill node - you can see the icon in the top left-hand corner

I modified the maxroll guide a bit which is why I warned this is all experimental. Also why I had so many mana problems haha.
