As you get older, you realize that people's behavior towards you has nothing to do with you. When people treat you unkindly, they have a problem within themselves. There are people who have hurt me profoundly who have never apologized to me. That says everything about them.

For anybody reading this. For 27 years I treated mostly everyone with love, respect, and kindness. I enjoy lifting people up because it does the same for me. Of course I was abused physically & verbally by most people in life. Now that I’ve got a great job, nice place, and fancy car everyone (including the same sex) reaching out wanting me back in there life like an ex that can’t get over you. It’s a great feeling and worth it all the end. Most important thing is to stay humble and still treat others who do you wrong with kindness.
I guess you're right about treating others who do you wrong with kindness, but I think I've reached my limit for now. I have to retreat for my own sanity.
I’m 26 new career within reach, love to hear these stories, men give up before they get to 30. I have ZERO kids so no child support lol got to lock in

If they have any sort of conscious they should feel that way. I was treated like garbage by so many people at some of the lowest points in my life and all I wanted was an actual friend,I didn't do anything to deserve this. These people's opinions are not a reflection of you or what you are capable of.

I have family who do not associate with me because i am a stay at home mum who adores my child and puts her first. I have people in my life that do not speak to me often because i love Jesus. Its so sad but hey we will know people by their fruits. I bless people with the little i have. ❤

I agree but sometimes our own insecurities attract certain energy too.
I am open to second chances many times if they are genuine because we are all on a journey and learning. What I do isn’t necessarily for praise. Unconditional love and gestures come from my soul.. but. I have been used a lot and unappreciated so perhaps I am wrong.. or I will be more careful to give it to the right people.
Let them show you they deserve it, let them make the efforts.

When they apologise to you it feels like they are looking down on you. They might regret it but they should mind their own business. They don’t deserve forgiveness and giving them a false sense of relief of forgiveness is just the first step.
All the pain you experienced form others and reflected that behaviour on other people is not your fault. Do not side with the people you hurt that sided with the people that hurt you the most.
You should always forgive everyone. Doesn't mean they are welcome back in your life but holding onto bitterness is not the right way. Forgiving people is for you, not just them.

My stepdad got really ugly called me wh‘re and a lot of names and when i told him to never talk to me line that ever again he got even more mad ,slammed the window and told my mom he or me. He got narcissistic and manipulative and was like i got rights and a 20yrs old sl‘t talks back at him. I will never forget nor trust or forgive him ever again. My poor mama. I hate when people from my past who mistreated me back then and who didn’t give a crap about me then give a crap NOW… even family members have ignored me for so long but after leaving my family, now they “miss” me… and it’s all BS to me… My exes mistreated me and old friends didn’t appreciate me then, so I don’t mess with people from my past because the people I wanted I no longer want anymore because why would I give someone a second chance? When I know I deserve better??
And it will be too late to feel regret. We don't get back what we lost
He may not regret it now, but eventually he will. I did so much for him, I loved and cared for him...I did all of those things just for him to leave me. After all the struggles that we went through, after all the things he said he was going through.. I meant nothing. I lost myself and my self respect.

I just see it like wow they steal the blood money and mock the person they stole from, it gets better talk about kicking someone while their down it takes a special kind of coward to do that. In a lot of ways I'm greatful that my encounter with them was touch and go; and I always able to fade into the lane of a place that wasn't their element. Yah these people ill, illy, ill. I'm glad that no ties really had enough substance to have any lasting ties. These people had cruel intentions for mr. It has been wild straight up.
