hard to believe that i was there 10 rows back lol now 43 concerts, meet and greets, solo shows still the best band to pay their dues and front aussie punters and followers great players band (as In this the band most aussie musicians consider the best )
Absolutely brilliant and rifling through my Chain albums full days of yore. They regularly visited our little SA country town in in the 80's and to hear Matt teasingly intro Snatch It Back and Hold It with his extended and epic harp solo tops any band artists song solo! And Black and Blue live is even better than their studio recordings. I've got a memory tear slipping down my cheek right now. A few (ahem) years back they happened to be playing locally on my 20th birthday and pre/post keg party at mine became a tradition. After the gig, was joined by (unnamed) at my place for the after party. He drank tea, us young ones drank beer and we smoked bongs 😊 On the way back to the hotel, stopped for refreshments and lost him for nearly a half hour as he'd gone off for a wander and had an acid flash back!!!! I don't know about that in hindsight, but how very 60's in 1985 😂 Thanks again @Laneway Music you've done it again🤘✌️👍👊
Great Band and so long ago. One of the best Aussie band concerts. So happy to see Barry Sullivan (r I p) and Bary Hearvy ( little goose and big goose) Phillip Manning and Matt Taylor ripping out their unique Australian Rythum and blues.
