I honestly think this should deseserve a lot more attention, it's so well made, the editing and the scenes are just perfect in the whole video. I can see that you put a lot of work into it and because of that I enjoyed the whole ride. The jokes and the describing of the shows is just perfect and I don't know what more to say other then that I hope this goes viral. Just love the kind of videos you're making right know and good luck in the future man! Just one more thing, Im on the same page as you when it comes to Hunter Hunter, it's a B A N G E R
This means so much to me, thank you dude. I'm just happy you enjoyed it from beginning to end, and I'll try to keep making stuff that you love, I appreciate all of the support!
Number 1 for me is made in abyss nothing else has had nearly as much staying power. However that is including the manga. If it was for anime only then it's a tie between jojo's and attack on titan.
@@unidentified2026 Deff agree with abyss, after having watched it your are left with a soul crushing feeling of awe, wonder, despair, nothingness and want to talk the ear of the nearest person. Atleast thats how it was for me
I appreciate the fact that you put all of the Anime names for the clips you used in the video. You are the man. Seriously, everybody needs to do this. I can't stress enough how annoyed I get when people don't put the anime name. I have to spend half my life trying to find it, only to fail and die.
The beginning of 2018 was awesome imho, especially if you're a fan of either relaxing and wholesome shows or more emotional stuff. Yuru Camp was probably the coziest anime I've watched ever and it never failed to put a smile on my face even after a hard day, Violet Evergarden got me really invested in the drama and served the most devastating emotional gutpunch of the year (and one of the strongest ones of all years) with the ending of its 10th episode, and A Place Further Than The Universe was hands down one of the most engaging, heartwarming, consistently emotional and inspiring things I've encountered not just in anime but in media in general, and sits firmly on my top 5 list of favourite anime of all time.
Inspiring is like the perfect word to describe Universe, all of the themes of embracing your youth and achieving your dreams even if they seem far-fetched were really resonant for me and it made me want to get out and do more with my life as well, I love that there are stories that have the power to make you feel that way.
I can’t believe I just sat here and watched a whole 37 min video and stayed interested. (Not a lot of videos do that for me) Absolutely loved this video for one now I have a lot of shows I need catching up and two made me want to watch genres example slice of life I should go and watch I know this took a long time to make but I wouldn’t mind best OP/ED in a decade 🤷♂️ Ps. I generally can’t pick a anime of the year but a anime that really connected with me would be Your Lie In April. Anyone who hasn’t watched it, the drama and epic classical pieces they do is incredible.
This is an honor, thank you! I was trying to keep this video still fast-paced and entertaining despite the fact that it was so long so I'm glad it's had that effect. Also definitely tell me if you check anything out from the vid, would love to hear your thoughts, especially for stuff like slice of life since I was initially not into the genre either. Haha best OP/ED of the decade sounds even harder to make since I feel like there are even more good OPs/EDs in the world than there are good shows, also even harder to rank. I still need to watch Your Lie in April! The classical music focus sounds like it would really appeal to me.
Alright, I don't know if I could pick an anime of the decade. But when you said "all of my friends on Discord" and Mitsuboshi Colors came on the screen, that gave me a big smile. Glad to see you back making videos again Phenom, this sure was something.
Ok, but what is the best anime movie of the decade...? My anime of the decade, even though it's not my favorite (Haikyuu), Attack on Titan had me strapped in the entire time, and like you said, not many anime stay good consistently all the way to the end.
My anime of the decade has to go to Assassination Classroom. I only got into anime fully in 2016, and even though Assassination Classroom was one of the first series I watched, it’s stuck with me ever since, and I even if someone were to tell me some flaws they had with it, I can’t see it diminishing my enjoyment of it at all. It seems funny, emotional, got good action, and I don’t know if I’ll ever have another anime resonate with me as much as that one.
My Top 10 Anime of the 2010s: 1. Fate/Zero- My Favorite Of All Time Period. Urobuchi crafted such an intricate world in only 25 episodes and perfectly introduces a vast world. It takes the wish philosophy of Madoka and takes it to a whole other level. Also each character is fantastically written and well realized with differing philosophies that are equally as interesting. 2. Owarimonogatari-The peak of Monogatari, a fantastic way to end a long running series like Monogatari. The same amazing visuals, soundtrack, and writing as before but we see that our characters have come so far. 3. Steins;Gate- Properly introduced me to anime and showed it could be utterly amazing. Such a masterfully crafted story and insanely loveable cast with an amazing usage of time travel and sci-fi that's detailed and properly explored. 4. Disappearance of Haruhi- Originally Koe no Katachi would've still been this high but my love for Haruhi got the best of me. It puts Kyon through amazing development and makes him my favorite character of all time in anime. Incredibly emotional and beautiful and is the best thing I've seen KyoAni make. Also the soundtrack fits so well. 5. Sangastu no Lion- In particular 2nd season is a masterpiece at showing raw human emotion and covers bullying so maturely and with so much respect I can't help but admire Chika Umino. The soundtrack is amazing and Rei Kiriyama really resonates with me so well as a character. The cast is just so well fleshed out in general. 6. Violet Evergarden- This show takes such a ridiculously simple concept and runs so far with it. It's paced incredibly well, has some of the best visuals in anime period, and the journey is beautiful and emotional. Violet Evergarden is one of my favorite MCs. 7. Vinland Saga- A great historical series that covers a setting usually not covered in anime, viking era Europe. Intricate and well-explored characters, amazing art, and Yukimura really runs home with the themes of pacifism, second cour has some of the best storytelling in anime period. 8. Land of the Lustrous-Amazing CGI, mystery is so intriguing and really entices you into the world LoTL presents, Phos is such a brilliant protagonist especially regarding existential themes. Also soundtrack is utterly brilliant. 9. Attack on Titan-A lot of praise has been said for this series so I won't go into too much but the reason why I love it is especially ever since Season 2 it gives you amazing characters and some of the best lore possible. Return to Shiganshina is a great mix of action, tough character choices, amazing directing, and epic reveals all backed up by Sawano goodiness. 10. Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War- Bringing in the director who worked on Arakawa was a great idea. It's animated really well, directed really well but more importantly is just hilarious. The gags always make me laugh and the characters are incredibly endearing. It's one of the first seasonals I watched as well. I still remember it as if I've seen it just as it aired even though it's been a year. Can't wait for Season 2. Honorable Mentions as while not everything could make it into a top ten I love all of these shows a lot: Assassination Classroom, Chihayafuru, Hyouka, Psycho-Pass, JoJo Pt. 4, Shirobako, and the Bunny Girl Senpai movie. I hope going into detail on why I love each of these shows and why they'd make my top list was a fun read.
For a 37 minutes and 15 seconds of anime trip down to memory lane...I WILL GIVE YOU A LIKE AND A NEW SUBSCRIBER also, Asuka’s solo on the end still give me chills-one of my best anime of all time But my all time favorite and best anime is Gintama😁
My favorite of the decade is the fate series Started at the start if the decade and ended at the end of the decade with the final movie masterfully connecting everything and tie every plot point together to make this highly detailed masterpiece
My top series: 1.- Monogatari series (my favourite part, Bakemonogatari). 2.- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. 3.- Sword Art Online (uff, polemic). 4.- Kara no Kyoukai (this one was 2008-09). 5.- Re: Zero. Others: Fate series, Yagate Kimi ni Naru, Banana Fish, Grand Blue (the one about "diving"), Bunny Girl Senpai, Kill la Kill, Noragami...
Attack on Titan Even after its long hiatus it still remained relevant and praised to this day It was the first Anime that took much risk but remained successful in the end.
I'm glad I waited till the weekend to watch this, I love your videos and i'm always glad to get recommendations to new ones and now I get to use the rest of my time catching up on a few myself. Again awesome video and I can't wait to see more!
Haha thank you so much bro! I'm really happy you liked it, and you def have to tell me if you end up checking out any of the recommendations and what you think of them.
My top 5 of the decade: 1: Kids on the Slope 2: Made In Abyss 3: Steins;Gate 4: Death Parade 5: Madoka Magica I'm surprised you didn't touch on my number 1 in this video. (aired in 2012) Juding by some of the other anime you've touched upon in this video, I think you would really enjoy it.
I normally don't like videos. It's not that I don't want to support any of the UA-camrs I follow or anything I just don't. But I'm giving this video a like. It's great. It's a video I would totally make and it's great to hear an anime fan talk about anime and actually know what hes talking about and actually watches anime. Like I love the anime man and like cdawgva but the anime man I feel has just been drained out with anime and I think cdawgva has forgotten that jo jo isn't the only anime out there
My favorite animes of all the time and of the decade are AoT and Monogatari series. I can't rank them because it's so difficult to choose. But i have dozens and dozens of anime that i'm in love with
2:03 "Rewind ten years ago today, and anime was in a very different place than it is now" Me, who started watching anime in the 80's: "Feeling a little old, here."
My best anime of the decade: 1 - Hunter x Hunter 2011 (In 2014 I had the best weekly experience watching an anime ever. Love this anime) 2 - Parasyte The Maxim (Most underrated anime of the decade) 3 - Mob Psycho 100 (Emotional rollercoaster with fantastic fights, characters and animation) 4 - Jojo's Bizarre advendure (Bizarre, creative and memes) 5 - Fate Zero (Deep and epic. Best Fate series) 6 - Haikyuu (Only watched recently and it took me less 1 week to watch 3 season. One of the best sport series) 7 - Magi (Extremely underrated shonen series. Shame that it never got a new season) 8 - Onepunch man (Fun, original and insane. Season 2 still good even if not great. I'm a bit biased because the manga is so amazing) 9 - Vinland Saga (Very well written characters. It has potential to be even better and surpass a lot of the animes on this list) 10 - My Hero academia (Despite being quite generic and cliche shonen anime, it executes everything really well) Honorable mentions: Inuyashiki, Made in Abyss, Kimetsu no Yaiba, Kuroko no Basket, Kill la Kill, Death Parade
Spectacular video and I'll be watching many of the shows you mentioned if not all of them. Thank you for your hard work and sharing our love for anime. And on behalf of the community... Fuck you for forgetting (insert anime here but mainly ReLife)
It’s interesting watching your videos and I know some people might shit on you because of your taste, but really, if we all had the same taste in anime, that’d be so fucking boring. Personally, I started watching anime seasonally in 2011...and really, it was only because a friend of mine recommended a couple of new shows that came out in 2010 that inspired me to start watching anime as it aired. If I had to pick my anime of the decade... 2010 Angel Beats - This anime changed my entire perspective on anime. Before this show, all I ever really watched were shounen or sci-fi shows, but his series opened my eyes to greats that came out before like Clannad (which I watched after seeing this). I call Angel Beats the best flawed anime series I’ve ever watched and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Katanagatari - This show was sort of an inspiration for me to try shows who think more outside the box with their animation. When I first saw the PV, I thought “what’s this shit?” After I watched it, I think I sat in silence for a half hour trying to come to grips with the masterpiece I just watched. Side Note - I’m not gonna mention FMA:Brotherhood because I go off of when a series started airing than when it finished. Since it started in 09, it don’t count for me. 2011 (GOAT Year in Anime) Steins;Gate - I’ll admit, I was a big fan of sci-fi shows before I even watched this...this is by far and away the best sci-fi show I’ve ever seen and it is definitely one of my top 5 anime of all-time. It had me on the edge of my seat with every episode. Ano Hana - Man, I’d have to give anime of the year a 1a and 1b between this and Steins;Gate because I loved both for two totally different seasons. This is one of, if not, the best coming of age stories I’ve ever seen. I will also say this has perhaps the saddest anime scenes of all-time...when I mention the hide and seek tree scene, if you’ve seen it, you know exactly what I’m talking about... Nichijou - I never really “got” weird Japanese humor...but Nichijou really broadened my horizons. It is legitimately the funniest anime I’ve ever seen. It’s humor is just so out there that it blew my mind at just how humorous weird comedy can be. Hanasaku Iroha - I’ll be frank, I think this is one of the most grossly underrated anime of all-time. I know everyone refers to Ano Hana as the “coming of age” story from this year...and they’d be write...but holy shit was Hanasaku Iroha so damn good. Although, I might be a little biased because my first job was working for a resort in high school and I made some unforgettable relationships at that job. Madoka Magica - I’ve never had an interest in the magical girl genre, but this anime was just so unbelievably suspenseful that it broadened my horizons. I didn’t know what to expect out of Madoka Magica, but what it delivered was one of the most memorable anime stories I’ve ever seen. 2012 Shinsekai Yori - This is, without question, the best anime of 2012 and one of my top 5 anime of all-time. Shinsekai Yori told such a surreal, atmospheric story that I was left speechless after I watched it. I’ve never seen an anime like it before and I doubt I’ll see another like it again. It’s just a shame it’s not more universally appreciated. Psycho-Pass - The sci-fi fan in me got a boner (not literally) from the PVs and it did not disappoint. I’m not even a big fan of the whole weeabo waifu peeps...but I’ll sadly admit that I wish Akane Tsunemori was my waifu. Perhaps it’s because she looks like and has the same mannerisms as my gf in anime form...but even that aside, a damn good story...just a shame season 2 was such an epic disappointment. Hyouka - I never thought such a basic story like Hyouka could be so damn captivating...but it certainly helps that the animation and character building are top notch. Please KyotoAni, I know there really isn’t enough material for a sequel series, but please finish this masterpiece! 2013 Attack On Titan - I’ll just encapsulate all three seasons into this...Attack On Titan is one of the most thrilling roller coaster rides of an anime I’ve ever experienced. While 2013 was the height of its popularity, it has truly aged like a fine wine. It continuously gets better and better and I cannot wait to see how it finishes... Little Busters - I’m cheating a little because it actually started in 2012, but Refrain started in 2013, so I’m a bit miffed...while Little Busters was...good...Refrain was the equivalent of After Story to Clannad. Refrain took LB in a direction I never saw coming. It was emotionally gripping and so, so damn satisfying. Oregairu - This is one of those series I watched later after the fact...but I’d be remised if I didn’t call Hikigaya my spirit animal. I relate to him on so many levels, but it was so compelling seeing him develop his relationships in this series. I am so glad we are getting a season 3 because this was such a fascinating series. 2015 Ore Monogatari - Man, this is genuinely one of the most wholesome romantic comedies I’ve ever seen and I can relate so much to this with my current relationship. It’s really one of those “opposites attract” shows and it’s genuinely fun seeing just how much Takeo and Rinko care for each other. 2018 (Jesus, I went three years without a show I “loved”) Violet Evergarden - One of the most breathtaking and emotional shows I’ve ever watched. It took my breath away on many occasions and I’d definitely put this on the short list of Kyoto Ani’s greatest works. A Place Further Than The Universe - VE BARELY eeked out anime of the year over this one. Universe was a show I didn’t know what to expect, but it was a joyride. Such an emotionally gripping show. Loved it to death. Yuru Camp - This is the ultimate “chill” anime. This was so chill and so interesting that it actually piqued my interest into camping. I used to “sort of” camp as a kid, but now even as an adult, this has piqued my interest. Rascal Doesn’t Dream Of Bunny Girl Senpai - I loved Bakemonogatari (and have a passing interest in the other Monogatari sequels), but this seemed to hit my itch without diving too far off the deep end. It was a fantastic character focused show and it had in my opinion one of the best couples in anime that I’ve seen since...well, Takeo and Rinko. 2019 Vinland Saga - I’ll come flat out and say it...I don’t like historical anime...but hot damn, Vinland Saga was on a whole God damn other level. It was so suspenseful from beginning to fucking end and I cannot wait for a season 2. The Promised Neverland - I don’t think an anime has quite “shocked” me quite like this since I’ve seen Shinsekai Yori. It was probably the most suspenseful show I’ve seen since then. Dororo - I’ve been sort of waiting for a samurai anime to come along and sweep me off my feet. I haven’t really seen a great one since Samurai Champloo...but damn did Dororo hit that itch. I won’t pick “a” anime of the decade...these were the bunch that came to mind when I thought about my favorite anime from the past decade.
I’m just going to beat the ufotable fans to the punch. Yes, I do like Fate/Zero...but I don’t love it. In fact, Fate/Zero might be one of those anime I’ll need to go back and rewatch to appreciate because, no offense, ufotable fans ruined my viewing experience when I first watched it in 2011-12. I was pretty active on anime message boards at the time and I’ll be blunt, ufotable fans were fucking intolerable. They preached F/Z as the greatest thing since sliced bread and if you disagreed with them even in the slightest, they would berate you to no end. It was actually a frustrating experience because while I didn’t play the VNs, I saw the original Studio Deen Fate/Stay Night and had a pretty strong interest in Fate/Zero. Fate/Zero, while great...felt like a chore to watch by the end because the fans really took me out of it. Maybe now that the dust has settled and ufotable fans have moved on to gushing about Fate/Grand Order, I can watch Fate/Zero and actually enjoy it. I don’t know...all I’ll say is it’s a great anime that didn’t really hook me, but I think outside interference might have played a part in that.
Oh, and also for the record...I haven’t seen... Jojo (any of them) Made In Abyss (I missed out on a lot of anime in 2017 in-general. I was going through a hard time that year and was working myself to death) Mob Psycho 100 (I’m actually not sure why I haven’t watched this...I like One Punch Man...maybe the 2017 excuse)
showa genroku rakugo shinjuu s1&2 is anime of the decade for me, it's very easy to answer the question because nothing has come even close to topping rakugo shinjuu for me
Anime of the decade: 1. Hunter x Hunter 2011 2. Made in Abyss 3. Violet Evergarden 4. Death Parade 5. Recovery of an MMO Junkie - This show is here purely due to it putting a smile on my face every episode for the entire episode. Probably my favorite overlooked anime.
Excellent video, my dude. We share the same favorite and taste, which is awesome for me, as I haven’t watched very many of the anime you recommended. I look forward to digging into them. What a terrific medium.
Fine, I'll watch the band geek anime! I was in my school band for both middle school as well as my Highschool marching band, and I've been watching Anime ever since Naruto aired on cartoon network. Not sure how I've never watched Sound Euphonium, especially since Clannad is from the same studio and also one of my favorite shows of all time. I've heard Euphonium was good for so many years, but never got around to watching it. This video is where I draw the line, and I am moving it to the top of my watch list.
I don't think you'll be disappointed! Let me know what you think, it's such a beautiful series, and probably even moreso as someone with actual school band experience.
I don't measure dissimilar anime against each other to select a top one, normally, but I will pick out favorites for the genres I have enjoyed this past decade that have made their strongest and loudest impressions. I'll keep it to five. Madoka Magica converted me to the Church of Madoka. I had barely touched Sailor Moon and Cardcaptors prior to this show, so I came in without any regard for the genre it deconstructed. Instead, it spoiled me with its content displaying the sheer discrepancy between gritty maturity in its reality and the mindset of adolescence. Afterwards, I got into Lyrical Nanoha, which provided more of a "tactical" magical girl feel that similarly went beyond what the genre offered at the skin-deep level, so I now give some attention to the genre. ... Still haven't opened up Precure yet, though... that's on the bucket list. I just hope we can conclude the metaphysical conflict that has arisen from the main series via the Rebellion movie at this point, but who knows WHEN or IF that will ever happen... at least the mobile game side story started getting a show adaptation this year. I should note that, while I worship Madoka, Homura has become one of my most respected and sympathized with protagonists of all time... even through the end of that last movie. No matter what, I will root for her to get her happy ending whether people think she deserves it or not. Her character arc, to me, is the rawest and most undiluted demonstration of love I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. I will never apologize. Nichijou is a masterpiece of hilarity for me. Few anime have brought me a genuine feeling of amusement quite as consistently as that. The most recent contender in the past decade was any and every scene of Inosuke from Demon Slayer, but that's only one guy. The Japanese sense of humor is a special breed of absurd that I hold high esteem for. It stands beside BRITISH humor of the Monty Python variety for me, as that is EQUALLY absurd, though different. The true beauty of absurd humor is that you don't ever run the gambit of offending anyone on a basis outside of courses of action, meaning it has a normative rather than stereotypical/prejudicial motive for amusement, but the courses of action are so out there and bear such little consequence that you can't even take them seriously (I say this with some confidence, even when it comes to the slapstick of antagonizing a large male deer, suplexing your daughter, blasting your high school crush with a rocket launcher, or assaulting your friend, a cop, and a random old man because you don't want the world to know that you draw yaoi). On a related note, I also like manzai dynamics in anime for that same reason. No Game No Life was the prime example of an "overpowered isekai" that I found compelling just to see HOW the OP protagonist was going to accomplish his goal because there was a realistically and fantastically complicated set of factors to overcome by (mostly) realistic (and informative) means in most conflicts for the show... and then I and everyone else have been blue balled since. Other OP isekai are basically epics, showing a moment-to-moment demonstration of OP-plz-nerf powers that almost comes off as a superhero genre. I have less consistent interest in those stories. As for isekai itself, I have a deep criticism of its use as a trope that touches upon the sheer excess in use I've seen for it. I see a structural problem in having someone enter a new world and their otherworldiness being underutilized because, if you could as easily have had a character who was grounded in that world to begin with, the isekai nature of a story amounts to a vestigial element that we may as well not have been introduced to in the first place. In No Game No Life, the real-world crossover of the jokes (read: other anime IP references) are heavily invested in to add flavor to the show, the little technology that the main characters brought with them are used to plot-significant effect (I hear there's an isekai that takes that concept with a cell phone and runs with it), and their real world knowledge that taps into an understanding physics and THE INVENTION OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY AND VIDEO GAMES plays into their decision making where legitimately grounded characters in that world would have utterly failed; they are OP precisely because they came from another world and bear a significant advantage as a result of being from there. Finally, unlike most other cases, there was a semblance of will to be in another world that becomes a source of soft-spoken invigoration and joy for the main characters' situation in it that frees them of the psychological constraints other grounded characters would have difficulty finding a way to overcome. The denizens see the world as serious business because of its own historical context, but the main characters see it as the giant chess board it is, unladen by the emotional baggage of its past and freed from their own pasts, going from being hikikomori in the "shitty game" of our ill-structured real life where they cannot even perceive all the cards stacked against them to the rulers of their own kingdom using their gaming skill to engage in thrilling, bloodless, and lighthearted conquest. That feels weird to say: "lighthearted conquest". I'm actually more into pure game-like fantasy setups, because I'm a bit of a gaming geek (also, I want to develop games in the future), but in most cases, those get manga rather than anime. On that note... Made in Abyss is that one anime Kotaku brought me to after it published an article remarking on its background art (apparently directed by an artist that has previously worked on Studio Ghibli movies, so YEAH). In other words, because I've been keeping tabs on the game industry... and because my beginnings in anime was as a young child watching the movie My Neighbor Totoro over and over again, I watched Made in Abyss. Yet, while Made in Abyss seems tailor made to be a game IP, it ended up taking on a more emotional/psychological tone than a fun one. Madoka Magica, Clannad, and such already got me used to children suffering arbitrarily, but this gut punch was different. You could see clearly informed decisions being made to enter danger on Riko's part that framed the entire undertaking as a suicide dive without suicidal intent, driven by the rash, youthful initiative of a prepubescent child. That's a recipe for dread and disaster, and then the dread gets fulfilled in very real-feeling ways that even an isekai'd person into this world could expect, regardless of ascension curses. The curses generally place background constraints on the main characters (putting Nanachi and Mitty aside), but the most ever-present and explicit danger turns out to be the fauna. I don't quite recall many anime outside of RPG-like fantasies where a Man vs. Nature central conflict applied, and I hadn't revisited a stand-out piece of literature in that vein since HIGH SCHOOL (the later 2000s for me), when it was required reading via The Old Man and the Sea. The sheer novelty of combining that conflict and emotional investment makes this a strong favorite of mine amongst all anime that stands out vividly in my mind. It should be telling that this is the series I started to keep tabs on this very channel for and still don't participate much in comments aside from those Made in Abyss-related content because I am so focused on what Phenom will have to say for the events to come. Nobody else had been or IS covering the anime and manga in the way Phenom does. Even someone like Chibi Reviews wouldn't publish videos with the extensively dense amount of attention to detail for this manga, and NOBODY I have ever seen makes manga reaction videos. I find this channel innovative and interesting because of those things, and I am all too grateful that such content was presented for the sake of such a great series. I don't enter a series' community often because it takes a LOT to gain that much enthusiasm from me, but this has become one of those few that I felt motivated to be a part of. *Considering everything, perhaps that would make it my choice for anime of the decade, at least among the five here.*
Phenom, this video was great and there's so many different anime shows/movies that came out this decade (2009/2010-2019) that were absolutely amazing in everything aspect, so if I had to boil it down, then I'd say for me: 10. Highschool of The Dead 9. The Fate Series 8. 91 Days 7. Saga of Tanya The Evil 6. Vinland Saga 5. Mob Psycho 100 Season 1 and Season 2 4. Your Name 3. A Silent Voice 2. FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood (Honorable Mention: Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Megalo Box, Haiykuu) 1. Attack On Titan and a multitude of other anime shows/movies 🔥🔥🔥💯.
It's on my backlog of overhyped series I need to watch, honestly why I still haven't watched it yall overhype the shit out of things then they turn mediocre But I'm not bashing it just being honest.
Thanks for the video! I have now added a bunch of shows to me watchlist, it's really refreshing to see someone recommending a bunch of shows I've never heard of before. The video is also really well made and I actually took the time to sit and watch it for how good the editing is. Also, as someone who also tends to watch shows a while after they're done airing, let me recommend Given from summer 2019, especially if you liked Bloom Into You. Seriously an underrated gem.
Good vid buddy Thanks for the easter egg too, that was really sweet of you. We will most likely be exploring this past decade for a while to come so I'm certainly looking forward to it. Make sure you don't overwork yourself with videos that consist of 40min of edited footage I'll be looking forward to the new decade aswell
My top anime of the decade: 1. Promised Neverland 2. Hunter X Hunter 3. Made in Abyss 4. Death note 5. Erased 6. Naruto 7. Attack On Titan 8. Demon slayer 9. Dororo 10. Wolf Children
my bad if this comment has a themed feel like any other comment,( ⬆ the comment up there) ️ hunter x hunter is great and more. when i finished I appreciated the series so much and then i watched UA-cam videos, people talking about double meanings and metaphors in the show aslo giving a deeper insight on characters and a certain family in the hills (it's a giant mountain ). My appreciation for hunter x hunter became deeper, i thank and like those UA-cambers videos for doing and making those.
Glad you enjoyed the video and I definitely understand where you're coming from, watching videos and reading analysis of Hunter x Hunter and uncovering all of these deeper aspects to characters and the thematic storytelling gave me an even greater appreciation for the story, especially on rewatches where you start picking up on all of those aspects yourself.
@@PhenomSage yes, didn't think to mention that, you're right, I don't remember all the things I noticed right right now (even though it was probably 3 or 4) but gon and killuwa found a new friend at the same time, killuwa found found a squid and gon found an invisible boy, I remember it being the same time but maybe it was roughly the same time now im thinking. that's one
I LOVE how you get the pronunciations correct. How many poor Japanese Jr high students I tortured to get "l" and "r" correct while on the JET programme
My choice is Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. It just builds the plot so WELL! Facet upon facet with plenty of unexpected twists along with ones that you could actually figure out if you were paying attention. I also have to give it some bonus points for not having a single female character that I dislike (no offense Japan, but sometimes you get more "fanservice" than "character" when you make women). They're good characters, they're BADASSES--even the ones who happen to be pacifists. xD It's a brilliant mix of somber progression, funny interludes, and overall a wonderful brother dynamic holding the whole thing together and only elevating the climax near the end. Every time that Truth door shows up the show seems to elevate to a new level, and the thing shows up like 4 or 5 times! How on earth could it get even cooler?! Yet it does. It's amazing.
Top 10 Anime lists have absolutely no right to be this good, telling a personal journey through the years that's similar to mine, sliding in funny gags in between, with spectacular editing and great choice of visuals to enhance the commentary. But no mention of Guilty Crown whatsoever? 6/10 is my clearly unbiased review
I actually had Guilty Crown in a rough cut of the opening montage if it makes you feel better haha. Thank you for appreciating all of the work Triene. :pepecry:
This was a fun video to watch! Thanks for taking us on a lightning round through your anime journey! If I had to drop one hot take though, is that Sound Euphonium just isn't as compelling as people say it is imo. Don't get me wrong I still really like Kumiko as a character, but the whole time watching it I just felt like I was being teleported back into highschool and having to deal with the annoying drama of band kids™. Idk maybe actually having to deal with people like that in real life makes them less enjoyable for me in fiction. EDIT: hurts at that no mention of Promare tho.Although I get it if you didn't get a chance to watch it.
Really shocking how Bakuman isn't mentioned in ANY anime of the decade list I've seen. In my opinion, it is the anime of the decade and should get alot more recognition. In fact, its one of the greatest anime of all time.
@@4Clubs Like I said, anime of the decade. Its also a complete anime which is a huge bonus. Not sure of the ending is the same in the manga, but it was very satisfactory to me. If you like good anime adaptations, this is more than worth a watch.
Im going to make a video like this 10 years from now in 2030, I really enjoyed the video and ended up watching all the way through even though I have school tomorrow.
Be warned that it's a lot of work, but definitely very satisfying to finish and share with people. I'm happy you enjoyed and sorry for any lack of sleep I caused you lol.
All these types of videos do (aside from remind me why I really love anime) are remind me that I have approximately 203 years worth of anime left that I REALLY need to watch.
There were so many anime I really enjoyed in the last decade, and it amazing how many high quality ones there were: Monogatari Series, Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous), Fate Zero/Heaven's Feel, Shinsekai Yori (From the New World), Made in Abyss, Madoka Magica, Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni, Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu (Parasite: The Maxim), Vinland Saga, Grand Blue, Eve no Jikan (Time of Eve), Hunter x Hunter, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha (Maoyu), Konosuba, Kimi ni Todoke, Hinamatsuri, Beastars, Dororo, Devilman Crybaby, SukaSuka, Steins Gate, Durarara, Katanagatari, Attack on Titan, Kyousou Giga, No Game No Life, 3-Gatsu no Lion, Mob Psycho, Kanata no Astra, JOJO, Hoozuki no Reitetsu, Kaguya-Sama, Kubikiri Cycle, Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight, Youjo Senki, Babylon, Given, etc. I listed what stood out to me, and there were so many, but I'm sure there's plenty more out there.
I like, having just discovering the channel, this opportunity to immediately judge, and if I don’t see Space Brothers and Chihayafuru, ragequit. Very handy, thanks. 😘
HxH is one of the only ones I can seemingly go back and rewatch again and again after the honeymoon phase wore off because it's just so dense and well crafted. At first I thought it was just trying so hard to be like FMA, juggling around that huge cast but being way too unfocused and falling flat. Now I think FMA may very well fall flat at being like HxH and I consider both flavors of FMA to be among the best animes ever made.
It's a masterpiece, I've watched through all of HxH at least 4 times and I've rewatched individual episodes and moments even more, it's one of the rare shows that only gets better and better the more time passes and I'm able to understand deeper and deeper facets about the series.
I'm honestly one of "those" people but re zero season 1 just hit all the things I love in anime, the characters, the struggle, the story, the pacing, and the selectiom of waifus
Bro I've missed you! I promise that as soon as I construct my pc in joining your discord. I miss the weekly and monthly content for sure and I think being able to talk would be dope. Love you bro
Objectively hxh is the best of the decade with a satisfying ending, but personaly this decades is special cause jojo got a very great adaptation as my personal fav manga out there.
I'm happy I got to experience many of these with you either from your videos or out streams. I could tell that even if you haven't seen them, just me talking about few of these shows contributes to them being these for a second. I like this kind of videos from you, more than just seasonal what to watch for. I like to listen to what you like, dislike about, what you felt from a show. It's much more personal than an impression of 1 or 2 episodes that really is all over anitube. The editing was amazing. I noticed on the Kiznaiver OP that you didn't just slap the year number on there, but had to edit it out, same for Hanebado's OP and that's awesome. Here's more to another amazing decade of anime.
Haha I'm glad you could tell, that Machikado cameo was just for you. I'm happy you enjoyed and noticed some of the work put into the editing, sometimes I wonder when putting hours into that stuff if anyone will actually notice/care so it's nice to get appreciation. Love ya Takeda.
my favorite anime is Smash Bros 4/Ultimate trailers, I couldn't have more joy than that. Seriously though, I try to watch anime, but youtube has been eating up too much time
*Me after looking through his MAL ‘’ well then.... I don’t know what to think anymore your taste is too complicated for me to even understand but I appreciate that a lot’
>mia best anime of decade >Hollow knight avatar "I've seen your kind, time and time again..." Ok but jokes aside, i get where you're coming from and the only answer to that i have is that either you've not watched those few others that get close, or (most likely, based on my very shallow assumptions) just like with houseki for me, mia ticked all the right boxes for you.
Attack on Titan is my favorite (imo nothing can rival it story wise) with Houseki no Kuni being my second favorite which is impressive considering it only has 12 episodes (pray for season 2)
I've seen ton of animes and i think AOT has the most brilliant story and plot among all with amazing osts, hype moments. My fav piece of fiction of all time, especially the manga which would be season 4
Can we appreciate that 2011 had Hunter X Hunter, Steins gate and Fate zero. Talk about a juggernaut of a year.
My anime of the decade is the one that started it for me

Anime of the decade:
1 - Attack On Titan & Hunter x Hunter
2 - Re:Zero
3 - Steins;Gate
Nah
It's easily AOT for me
Can't spell AOTD without AOT ;)
Such an awesome decade.
I hope this medium never dies!
Long live anime!
There are too many good choices and to me, picking only one anime of the decade is a difficult task to do. I can't even pick an anime of the season.
Number 1 for me is made in abyss nothing else has had nearly as much staying power. However that is including the manga. If it was for anime only then it's a tie between jojo's and attack on titan.
Haha fair enough, I think at the end of the day the most important thing is that we all found shows we love this decade.
@@PhenomSage Agreed
@@unidentified2026 Deff agree with abyss, after having watched it your are left with a soul crushing feeling of awe, wonder, despair, nothingness and want to talk the ear of the nearest person. Atleast thats how it was for me
Made In Abyss, there is no competition for me at all. Every piece is expertly and lovingly crafted, it's just that good.

Drunkingly subscribinf. Don't think I'll regret. Not sure the # time mark, but sword atr online theme just came on.
Awesome video, I could feel the hard work and passion that went into it through the screen.
I appreciate the fact that you put all of the Anime names for the clips you used in the video. You are the man. Seriously, everybody needs to do this. I can't stress enough how annoyed I get when people don't put the anime name. I have to spend half my life trying to find it, only to fail and die.
Best Anime of the decade is hands down Inferno Cop
Ninja Slayer is up there too. YEEART
Bananya tops them all
The beginning of 2018 was awesome imho, especially if you're a fan of either relaxing and wholesome shows or more emotional stuff.
Almost exactly what I think about 2018. My mind always goes to Violet Evergarden, Yuru Camp, and A Place Further Than the Universe
The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya was AOTD and honestly it's the GOAT.
Boogiepop 2019 was AOTD if you don't count movies.
Made in Abyss because I love some awesome world building and elevator go brrr.
I can’t believe I just sat here and watched a whole 37 min video and stayed interested. (Not a lot of videos do that for me)
Absolutely loved this video for one now I have a lot of shows I need catching up and two made me want to watch genres example slice of life I should go and watch
I know this took a long time to make but I wouldn’t mind best OP/ED in a decade 🤷♂️
Ps.
Yeah I noticed that too
That was really sweet
I've heard really good things about that show. I should check it out.
Yeah go watch it when you can, I hope you enjoy it!

My Top 10 Anime of the 2010s:
Nice list! But no hunter x hunter?

But my all time favorite and best anime is Gintama😁
My favorite of the decade is the fate series
Started at the start if the decade and ended at the end of the decade with the final movie masterfully connecting everything and tie every plot point together to make this highly detailed masterpiece
I really love Durarara!! (second season too) and Made in abyss, can't choose what i love more, so they are my choice
My top series:
1.- Monogatari series (my favourite part, Bakemonogatari).
2.- Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
3.- Sword Art Online (uff, polemic).
4.- Kara no Kyoukai (this one was 2008-09).
5.- Re: Zero.
Others: Fate series, Yagate Kimi ni Naru, Banana Fish, Grand Blue (the one about "diving"), Bunny Girl Senpai, Kill la Kill, Noragami...
No hunter x hunter? lol trash

Juding by some of the other anime you've touched upon in this video, I think you would really enjoy it.
I loved to follow darling in the franxx with you, an absolutely amazing experience

2 - Parasyte The Maxim (Most underrated anime of the decade)
3 - Mob Psycho 100 (Emotional rollercoaster with fantastic fights, characters and animation)
4 - Jojo's Bizarre advendure (Bizarre, creative and memes)
5 - Fate Zero (Deep and epic. Best Fate series)
6 - Haikyuu (Only watched recently and it took me less 1 week to watch 3 season. One of the best sport series)
7 - Magi (Extremely underrated shonen series. Shame that it never got a new season)
8 - Onepunch man (Fun, original and insane. Season 2 still good even if not great. I'm a bit biased because the manga is so amazing)
9 - Vinland Saga (Very well written characters. It has potential to be even better and surpass a lot of the animes on this list)
10 - My Hero academia (Despite being quite generic and cliche shonen anime, it executes everything really well)

@@PhenomSage Do check it out. Its probably the best romance i have seen in anime
Oh boy, grab the popcorn and here we go
It’s interesting watching your videos and I know some people might shit on you because of your taste, but really, if we all had the same taste in anime, that’d be so fucking boring. Personally, I started watching anime seasonally in 2011...and really, it was only because a friend of mine recommended a couple of new shows that came out in 2010 that inspired me to start watching anime as it aired. If I had to pick my anime of the decade...
2010
Angel Beats - This anime changed my entire perspective on anime.
2011 (GOAT Year in Anime)
Steins;Gate - I’ll admit, I was a big fan of sci-fi shows before I even watched this...this is by far and away the best sci-fi show I’ve ever seen and it is definitely one of my top 5 anime of all-time.
2012
Shinsekai Yori - This is, without question, the best anime of 2012 and one of my top 5 anime of all-time.
2013
Attack On Titan - I’ll just encapsulate all three seasons into this...Attack On Titan is one of the most thrilling roller coaster rides of an anime I’ve ever experienced.
2015
Ore Monogatari - Man, this is genuinely one of the most wholesome romantic comedies I’ve ever seen and I can relate so much to this with my current relationship. It’s really one of those “opposites attract” shows and it’s genuinely fun seeing just how much Takeo and Rinko care for each other.
2018 (Jesus, I went three years without a show I “loved”)
Violet Evergarden - One of the most breathtaking and emotional shows I’ve ever watched.
2019
Vinland Saga - I’ll come flat out and say it...I don’t like historical anime...but hot damn, Vinland Saga was on a whole God damn other level.
Jojo (any of them)
Made In Abyss (I missed out on a lot of anime in 2017 in-general. I was going through a hard time that year and was working myself to death)
Mob Psycho 100 (I’m actually not sure why I haven’t watched this...I like One Punch Man...maybe the 2017 excuse)
showa genroku rakugo shinjuu s1&2 is anime of the decade for me, it's very easy to answer the question because nothing has come even close to topping rakugo shinjuu for me
You haven't watched Assassination Classroom? I highly recommend that you start it, one of the best shows, period
Not the decade
Not even close
I want anime to stay as it is with it's variety and charm makes it anime.
This is my favourite anime of the decade videos ive watched. Nice one phenom
edit: omg is this recency bias
Haha recency bias or not, that's an honor so thank you!
Oh no no no. Who's gonna tell him about Babylon?
Ping pong animation is easily top 3. The best sports anime to have ever graced in the modern anime
Anime of the decade:
1. Hunter x Hunter 2011
2. Made in Abyss
3. Violet Evergarden
4. Death Parade
5. Recovery of an MMO Junkie - This show is here purely due to it putting a smile on my face every episode for the entire episode. Probably my favorite overlooked anime.
Nice list
Excellent video, my dude. We share the same favorite and taste, which is awesome for me, as I haven’t watched very many of the anime you recommended. I look forward to digging into them. What a terrific medium.
Thank you so much man, I really appreciate it. It really is such a deep and varied medium and I hope you enjoy whatever you end up checking out.
Brotherhood all day.
Phenom, this video was great and there's so many different anime shows/movies that came out this decade (2009/2010-2019) that were absolutely amazing in everything aspect, so if I had to boil it down, then I'd say for me:
10. Highschool of The Dead
9. The Fate Series
8. 91 Days
7. Saga of Tanya The Evil
6. Vinland Saga
5. Mob Psycho 100 Season 1 and Season 2
4. Your Name
3. A Silent Voice
2. FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood
(Honorable Mention: Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man, Megalo Box, Haiykuu)
1. Attack On Titan
and a multitude of other anime shows/movies 🔥🔥🔥💯.
1. Mob Psycho 100
2. Hunter x Hunter
3. Haikyuu!!
Everybody: Attack on Titan!
Me: Violet Evergarden!
Also me: *chuckles* im in danger
You aren't actually. I agree with you. Violet Evergarden is a masterpiece.
It's on my backlog of overhyped series I need to watch, honestly why I still haven't watched it yall overhype the shit out of things then they turn mediocre
But I'm not bashing it just being honest.
@@vollied4865 r u talking about violet evergarden or AOT?
Underrated channel
Thanks for the video! I have now added a bunch of shows to me watchlist, it's really refreshing to see someone recommending a bunch of shows I've never heard of before. The video is also really well made and I actually took the time to sit and watch it for how good the editing is.
Also, as someone who also tends to watch shows a while after they're done airing, let me recommend Given from summer 2019, especially if you liked Bloom Into You. Seriously an underrated gem.
Good vid buddy
Thanks for the easter egg too, that was really sweet of you.
We will most likely be exploring this past decade for a while to come so I'm certainly looking forward to it.
Make sure you don't overwork yourself with videos that consist of 40min of edited footage
I'll be looking forward to the new decade aswell
15:56 I momentarily had a crush on a bald guy.
My top anime of the decade:
1. Promised Neverland
2. Hunter X Hunter
3. Made in Abyss
4. Death note
5. Erased
6. Naruto
7. Attack On Titan
8. Demon slayer
9. Dororo
10. Wolf Children
I watched all 37 minutes, I enjoyed myself watching this I enjoyed watching, yes i enjoyed watching this video
my bad if this comment has a themed feel like any other comment,( ⬆ the comment up there) ️ hunter x hunter is great and more. when i finished I appreciated the series so much and then i watched UA-cam videos, people talking about double meanings and metaphors in the show aslo giving a deeper insight on characters and a certain family in the hills (it's a giant mountain ). My appreciation for hunter x hunter became deeper, i thank and like those UA-cambers videos for doing and making those.
this a joke i edited out of the comment up there 👆. appreciation for show got deeper and grew a center of gravity
@@PhenomSage yes, didn't think to mention that, you're right, I don't remember all the things I noticed right right now (even though it was probably 3 or 4) but gon and killuwa found a new friend at the same time, killuwa found found a squid and gon found an invisible boy, I remember it being the same time but maybe it was roughly the same time now im thinking. that's one
and instead of invisible boy i was gonna say invisible cigarette smoke
10 years from now I expect the video best anime of the 2020’s
You already know I got you covered bro
@@PhenomSage awesome man I’m looking forward to this decade
Thanks so much man kinda inspired me to make more vids wow
That makes me super happy to hear I could help give you that motivation, good luck with your future video making fam!
Lmao I was so ready to leave a angry tweet if Love is War wasn’t mentioned
Top 10 Anime lists have absolutely no right to be this good, telling a personal journey through the years that's similar to mine, sliding in funny gags in between, with spectacular editing and great choice of visuals to enhance the commentary. But no mention of Guilty Crown whatsoever? 6/10 is my clearly unbiased review
I actually had Guilty Crown in a rough cut of the opening montage if it makes you feel better haha. Thank you for appreciating all of the work Triene. :pepecry:
Oh wow didn't expect someone mention Space Dandy. Nice
Violet Evergarden though... :(
O Maidens in Your Savage Season though :C
This must have taken a lot of effort and time to make. Well done Phenom, here's to another decade of more amazing anime!
Really shocking how Bakuman isn't mentioned in ANY anime of the decade list I've seen. In my opinion, it is the anime of the decade and should get alot more recognition. In fact, its one of the greatest anime of all time.
I can't speak for the anime adaptation, but the manga is really great from start to finish, it never really falters. Is the adaptation good?
@@4Clubs Like I said, anime of the decade. Its also a complete anime which is a huge bonus. Not sure of the ending is the same in the manga, but it was very satisfactory to me. If you like good anime adaptations, this is more than worth a watch.
@@eazzii_m5408 Thank you! I'll definitely check it out some time. The staff list is very promising and I loved the manga.
@@4Clubs No problem 👌
Im going to make a video like this 10 years from now in 2030, I really enjoyed the video and ended up watching all the way through even though I have school tomorrow.
Be warned that it's a lot of work, but definitely very satisfying to finish and share with people. I'm happy you enjoyed and sorry for any lack of sleep I caused you lol.
My anime of the decade is the anime i grew up with and introduced me to anime and it's naruto
I love how your top 3 anime of the decade are the exact same as mine
You mean HxH/Fate/Eupho? Amazing taste dude.
@@PhenomSage yes, and in that exact same order
All these types of videos do (aside from remind me why I really love anime) are remind me that I have approximately 203 years worth of anime left that I REALLY need to watch.
That flip flappers sales figure just made me remember what i'm missing out on, just like i almost missed out on jinrui wa suitai shimashita.
Haha tell me about it, even as I was making this video and looking through MAL I realized how many things I was missing and wanting to check out.
For people who haven't watched konosuba in 2020 it will lift your hopes up about what's going on in the world right now.
i definitely agree with hxh but ive never been so happy to see someone give sound euphonium the praise it deserves
Thank you! Sound Euphonium is so underwatched, I recommend it whenever I can but it still feels like not enough people have seen it.
When Anohana showed on the screen DEAD ASS almost cried
There were so many anime I really enjoyed in the last decade, and it amazing how many high quality ones there were:
Monogatari Series, Houseki no Kuni (Land of the Lustrous), Fate Zero/Heaven's Feel, Shinsekai Yori (From the New World), Made in Abyss, Madoka Magica, Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni, Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu (Parasite: The Maxim), Vinland Saga, Grand Blue, Eve no Jikan (Time of Eve), Hunter x Hunter, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha (Maoyu), Konosuba, Kimi ni Todoke, Hinamatsuri, Beastars, Dororo, Devilman Crybaby, SukaSuka, Steins Gate, Durarara, Katanagatari, Attack on Titan, Kyousou Giga, No Game No Life, 3-Gatsu no Lion, Mob Psycho, Kanata no Astra, JOJO, Hoozuki no Reitetsu, Kaguya-Sama, Kubikiri Cycle, Shoujo Kageki Revue Starlight, Youjo Senki, Babylon, Given, etc.
I listed what stood out to me, and there were so many, but I'm sure there's plenty more out there.
I saw "anime of the decade", I heard "hyori ittai", I understood it was going to be HxH, I cried.
(Everyone) #1 dbz #2 naruto 3 one piece 4# bleach #5 demon slayer 6#mob 7# fate stay 8# sao 9# my hero 10# every anime
Great vid. This is some really clean editing you dropped here
I like, having just discovering the channel, this opportunity to immediately judge, and if I don’t see Space Brothers and Chihayafuru, ragequit.
Very handy, thanks. 😘
This video was worth the wait! To be fair, I did enjoy quintuplets as well.
(Great job on the video!)
It's a masterpiece, I've watched through all of HxH at least 4 times and I've rewatched individual episodes and moments even more, it's one of the rare shows that only gets better and better the more time passes and I'm able to understand deeper and deeper facets about the series.
you pick the most interesting shots of every anime you’re talking about
it’s crazy
I'm honestly one of "those" people but re zero season 1 just hit all the things I love in anime, the characters, the struggle, the story, the pacing, and the selectiom of waifus
Bro I've missed you! I promise that as soon as I construct my pc in joining your discord. I miss the weekly and monthly content for sure and I think being able to talk would be dope. Love you bro
Please join the Discord bro, would love to have you there and be able to chat, I'm on there all the time, love you too man.
I loved Babylon's ending. Glad to see it mentioned. I think it's very underrated.
Seriously though, I try to watch anime, but youtube has been eating up too much time
*Me after looking through his MAL
‘’ well then.... I don’t know what to think anymore your taste is too complicated for me to even understand but I appreciate that a lot’
Made in Abyss is my #1 anime of the decade and no other show has come close enough to challenge that.
Same here. Did you watch it when it came out by chance?
You better get into that praying position then cause they'll find your bones when season 2 is done.
>mia best anime of decade

"I've seen your kind, time and time again..."
Ok but jokes aside, i get where you're coming from and the only answer to that i have is that either you've not watched those few others that get close, or (most likely, based on my very shallow assumptions) just like with houseki for me, mia ticked all the right boxes for you.
iota-09 I have watched “those few others” like Houseki no Kuni. I’m being hyperbolic, but yes, the latter.
iota-09 I have watched “those few others”, such as Houseki no Kuni. I’m being hyperbolic, but yes, the latter.
Attack on Titan is my favorite (imo nothing can rival it story wise) with Houseki no Kuni being my second favorite which is impressive considering it only has 12 episodes (pray for season 2)
They ain't gonna cut it with S2, we need An S3 aa well unless S2 is 24 episodes.
I like the style and look of "land of the lustrous* but i had no idea wtf was happening or the storyline in the first of ep
I've seen ton of animes and i think AOT has the most brilliant story and plot among all with amazing osts, hype moments. My fav piece of fiction of all time, especially the manga which would be season 4
