The sandblasted strat looks awesome
The black Schecter is a Fastback. Cool guitar.
Sometimes people don’t know that the silver sticker over the Trem hole on a Fender guitar is there to stop a small spring from falling out. This spring is there to keep the Trem arm tight and stop it feeling loose. To stop it falling out after you take the sticker off, take the spring out, smear it with Vaseline and drop it back in the hole.
Love seeing the new products coming in
In watching over a dozen of your videos so far, I've developed not just an interest in playing and owning guitars, you have sparked an appreciation in me for the makes, models, designs, and artistic eye appeal in each and every one of them! Even those I find to look a little odd and bizarre, I now appreciate that there will be dozens or more aficionados who would love to own, play and display one in their home. I will now refer your channel as Zimm's Guitar University, Mesa, Arizona.. where I feel a little smarter every time I watch one of your videos. Thank you, and cheers from Texas!
The eagle is a beauty!
Being out in phoenix I’d say it’s a desert eagle!
Nice clean Highway One. On the serial, if the 10 is followed by 7 digits, it's late 2009 to March 2010. 10 followed by 6 digits is beginning March 2010.
Thank you
The purple Lead 3 is a 2020 model. Not 2012. It was a limited run I believe.
That Eagle is sweet. I play a 1980 Eagle deluxe bass. Killer instrument.
Wow,the Eagle with the Bigsby is marvelous! Nice shot Dane!
Great haul brother, couple of MIM guitars I've never seen. Most excellent.
I owned a dark brown sand blasted Strat that were put out by and bought from Sweetwater. I never played it and I had it sold by a guitar shop that I have dealt with for over 30 years. It was in a Fender Travel case. They listed it at $2000 and it sold for $1750. Wanted to give you a heads up on price. I made a profit off the sale.
Wow! What a great score of guitars! I look forward to seeing set up videos of these! Well done Mr.Z!
Hello from Australia. Really nice gear. Loved the Duosonic best. The EVH one was super sweeeet.
That's a nice haul! Love the mustang and duo sonic!!! I had a jagmaster in 2005, they're phenomenal guitars! People are so judgemental towards squier, I love em!
That BC rich eagle is probably a 2015. I had one years ago. That Charvel is a desolation skatecaster. Also, you can look up and figure out what most of your fender guitars are through their website.
Nice cache, Dane...and not a "CLINKER" in the lot!! That Charvel is unusually "Bling'd-Out"...and the EVH and 'blasted Strat' are totally "BOMBER"!! ☝😀
Pretty sweet! The EVH of course and the p-90 PRS catchin my eye 👁️ 🤘🏼
Nice haul. You got some good stuff. That PRS Soapbar II is very cool
that sandblasted one looks like the wood has been eroding for years creates a nice effect
That purple guitar looks really cool.
Dane, you sure raising the bar. Elsie, Oregon.
Nice haul brother. Better than all squires for sure. Whats the price on that last sandblast fender?
Beaver's Band Box was/is a music shop in Tucson.
Yes, that is a Charvel Desolation series. I have one.
The lot looks to be in pretty good condition, considering they were left to bake in the back of a pickup truck in the Arizona sun.
Dane is soo lucky! He get's a lot of cool toys! He is also one of the coolest people you'll ever meet! Thanks Dane!
I'm interested in buying the Jagmaster and the Charvel Desolation
On MIM guitars MX started in 2010. So MX10 would be 2010, MX11 is 2011, MX12 is 2012. Plus the 5-6 digits ex. MX1456785 made in Mexico 2014
When were the "MN" starts made? Do you know?
@@DBMorris 1990's
@@ZIMMSGUITARS thanks dude 😎
Love these videos man. Pretty cool to see what you pull out of those cases.
Toaster tops are Rickenbacker single coils with no exposed pole pieces. That Schecter has Gretsch Filtertron style HBs.
Nice haul! The Mustang is Shell Pink, rather than Coral Pink.
The Schecter is a PT Fastback, from the Korean made Diamond Series. Nice guitars, quality is up with a Fender MIM Deluxe but at Squier CV series money.
Christmas in May.
Next time I go back to Tucson I gotta make a detour to your store. We don't have stores like yours in Vegas anymore.
Omg! That sandblasted Strat though!
I love the Schecter Pt fastback it much like my PT . black body bolt on maple neck . These PT ‘s really jam I haven’t seen the black fingerboard inlays which is a cool thing. Love it Though!!
nice stuff !!!!! nice beaters ..... even for a cork sniffer
Hi from London UK.....wow,that sandblasted strat, never seen one before, didn't even know they existed... fabulous.
Very nice guitars
I had a BC Rich Eagle bass 30 years ago. Wish I still had it it was stolen from van. But I wouldn't mind the Guitar version if it was white and without the Bigsby.
Where did you get all of those guitars? In such good shape, amazing.
I got a BCRich you can by from me to add to your collection.
That purple lead 3 is becoming a real expensive guitar after 25 years IMHO! 😊
Stellar guitars Dane!! I have that same Duo-Sonic. Its a very cool player!! Seems like they previous owner bought these guitars & never or rarely played them, basically found gig bags to protect his investments and stored them for who knows what future endeavor. Score!!
Nice haul!
Damn I'm sure the EVH is probably gone by now. Whoever bought it enjoy. 🎸🎸🎸🎸👍🎙️🎵🎼👏🤘👏 Nice collection of guitars... Rock on !!!!
I'd love to wander into your store and check out the guitars, unfortunately I'm on the wrong side of the Atlantic. I really enjoy your enthusiasm and guitar knowledge, good video, thanks.
I never ever seen a Charvel guitar like that like a Prs style shape before I love the abalone in lays and that fret marks are gorgeous🤩🤩😍😍😍 .
A lot better stuff than the last lot.
Cool vid! Man.... I want that Red Sand-Blasted Strat!!! What a killer looking guitar. Glad you're still rockin, Dane! Always love your vids.
Love the body art fly warlock.
Dang! Great haul!
🎸😎👊
That's a very nice bunch of guitars.
Top notch entry level guitars, IMO!
What a great haul! Too bad none of them are lefty 😢
I would like that PRS in the beginning. Too bad I have no way to buy from you😢
The Korean made SE’s are magic. A lot of guitar for the money
Call the store 480 242-3742
@@VamboMarbleEye yes they are:-) I have a Zach Myers SE. Such a stable good playing guitar
Well Zimms, I´m really impressed of your extensive knowledge about guitars, for my ovn part i have one Framus Hollywood (early 60) , a Framus Texan 12 about -70-72, a Bjarton school guitar and a rathernew Tayler baby.
They all are played on from time to time, when my hands allow it, you know, no one comes undamaged out after +25 years in construction
This deserves an award 🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂
The BC Rich Eagle Pro-x is not a neck-through, they were "set-through" necks. Kinda like a long neck tenon, just taken to the extreme, the neck goes about half way into the body, not all the way to the end-pin.
Dam. Nice haul Dane.
I loved the evh guitar deep purple guitar the bc rich with Bixby wamy board and the sand blast guitar 🤘
Desolations are the best-kept secret in the Charvel line!
Thnx from another Arizona boy.
Desolations are awesome
great group of guitars, and your customers should be happy with them. personally i like the fender stratocaster red sand blast guitar. beautiful guitar
A solid body need not be detuned for storage
If it is going to bend
It is crap to begin with
As well , doing so without relaxing the truss rod ?
You are asking for humps and bumps to develop
Aaaaand
Some hard cases actually bend the neck
BEWARE
If your guitar comes out with bad tuning
Check that the innards of the case are not unnaturally clamping , manipulating your neck
Been playing and tooling for decades
Trust me
Charvel is a Desolation. Easy to play and Heavy Sound. Great Guitar
Also, that Charvell is beautiful
I'm dating myself but... a first year (1979) Lead 2 was my 1st decent guitar. I worked all summer delivering newspapers to buy it. Same color (edit:red) too. Thanks for the memories Zimm!
They were made in Japan or maybe USA?
@djhoneylove5710 USA , i think
The purple lead III is from 2020
You’ve got some beautiful guitars in that group!
Sweet!
Nice load man....👍
All 3 of the Fender Leads are awesome
It is a Desolation. Cool man!
As you clacked the 5 way switch on that Sand Blast model
I could tell that body is Hella Resonant
Would love to try it out
Some very cool guitars you've got there. Every case you opened got a wow from me!
That soap bar PRS is sweet feet! If I was near I’d snag that in a quick minute! Nice haul indeed!
Nice selection !
Where'd you get these? I'm 2 minutes in and everything looks to be in great condition so far.
Charvel is a nice one
The Eagle has the Neil Geraldo vibe
Oh man, four of those are awesome for me!!! I wont have another day off for a week though! ill cruise by and see if they're still around then.
Seeing guitars with the protective plastic still on them makes me a bit sad. These instruments need to be played.
Completely agree. I could never collect guitars as an investment because I'd be playing them all the time.
Had an EVH Wolfgang special got sick of filing the fret spout every year or so, so I got rid of it. You shouldn't have to keep doing that on a $1000 dollar guitar. I think at the time, Fender wasn't drying their wood long enough. I hope they have resolved that issue.
I made a comment about fret sprout in a guitar shop once and I was told I needed better temperature and humidity control where I keep my guitars.
@witchfindergeneral13 The only problem with that theory is none of the other 25 guitars I had at the time in the same room suffered from fret sprout.
Not enough humidity , this guys in Arizona I would bet these were all stored in very low humidity. Need a humidifier it will stop your guitars from drying out too much. An acoustic will get destroyed from being too dry.
Love these guitar haul vids.
Beautiful guitars
This is a sick haul man, very nice!
Wow I drove across the United States last week. I've been a subscriber of your channel for a couple years. I reached your store on Friday afternoon at 6:10 pm. And just missed you. I'll be heading back at the end of summer. I try to stop in again in August
See you in august
@ZIMMSGUITARS Right on brother. Yeah im working in Sacramento. Go check your surveillance from Friday 2 weeks ago. I'm the guy with his face pressed up against the windows trying to see the guitars in your shop. I believe I arrived either the same day.or.the day after you broke out the body art.BC rich guitar... I saw it hanging in the back. Haha. See you then.
That's a Charvel Desolation indeed.
The Collector had a good eye. Nice haul.
Me like that Schecter!
It's so funny that you have to cover the rest of the serial numbers as if that means anything, geez! 🤣🤣🤣
Love the video I wonder I have some family in Arizona if there was a guitar that I wanted to buy, would I be able to send you the money and then they come pick it up and send it to me however which way they figure out
Charvel Desolation definitely
I was never into those “sandblasted” Fenders, but that one looks cool.
That chinese squier has a nicer looking fretboard than those mexican fenders
Damn Zimm's out there living the dream...
Nice haul.
Those Fender Leads are some what rare
So that's where my tele parts went. I wondered what happened to them.
