Can you hear music in your dreams? Its pretty easy sometimes for me to slip into a lucid dream, i wonder if i could play some of this shit in one of those dreams
Got a sickly feeling from both the music & video combined. Quite possibly some of the most original sounding and macabre looking art we have heard and seen in a while. Awesome work altogether.
My favorite part is at 1:35 when the frog slowly creeps out of the darkness into a strobe light. Could someone just make that part on repeat? It's seriously the best part of the video haha.
This band is the true child of Meshuggah. It's very different but the same but different but the same but holys shit this just keeps blowing my mind! I neeeeed!! to see this live
@@mysteriousDSF They do have a lot more layers and atmosphere to their sound than Meshuggah. But you also have to give Meshuggah credit where it's due. They are the pioneers of this sound after all and paved the way for great musical talents like this to come along as well.
@@mysteriousDSF they’re not “just tech” you could say that this is “just tech” as well. listen to the entirety of catch thirty three and tell me it’s just tech.
The thing with Vildhjarta is that they sat down and said "let's make a heavy ass band" yet they made is interesting not the same regurgitated music the metal scene has heard over and over again.
Seriously,i can´t belive Sweden hasn´t changed name to "Death Metal" land yet, theres an ENDLESS wave of awesome music coming from here, In Flames, In Mourning, Vildhjarta; Dark Tranquillity, you name it. \,,/ Proud of being swedish \,,/
The build-up from 1:32 ish and finishing with the frog in the flashing light is just so unbelievably badass and brutal. Sickest music video I've seen in quite a while!
Good lord! Vildhjarta certainly went in a different direction than their first EP. That one was just straight awesome riffs, but this....this is pure evil. Wow. Well friggin done, boys. Cant wait to rock this out.[2]
i didnt see them when i had the chance, i was at a festival, but somehow i missed them... hell idont think i even bothered to listen to them ever before omg
@fervor8184 That's an easy one. Throughout the entire music video the Rabbit doesn't emote. It's just an inanimate mask. Then suddenly out of nowhere, it breaks custom and *gapes in surprise* like a human when it encounters the long nosed character like _"screw you guys, I'm going home."_ So jarring, and absolutely hilarious :D Lmao
I truly love this album. I find it so funny though when I see all these kids go from "OMG i LOVE shiver!!!! thallthallthallthall!!!!!!" to "waaaah, this has no clean vocals and it sounds way to dark for me! i dont wanna thall anymore!! :( "
the eeriest part in the music is @ 2:53 when even the drums die when the guitar does this elongated sound. for a moment it feels like the universe stopped breathing.
Dude.. HD and fullscreen scared the crap out of me. The shot with the frog and the double bass music was EPIC! And that long tone in the ending breakdown.. fuck
I'm fullscreen in a dark ass room with a 30 something inch monitor and loud ass headphones. If there was ever a music video to scare the shit outta me, it would be this one.
I just bought it today, and had the same problem, too. The song labeled "Benblast" is Eternal Golden Monk, and the song labeled "Eternal Golden Monk" is, as you said, Benblast. Just switch the titles around.
"I have been concerned by your futile dreams, Aiming to cause downfall when you cross our stream, There is no mercy when the worst things are cursed, There is no word for this plague that you brought upon us."
just to clear things up, 'djent' refers to the sound the low end guitars make, although it wasn't originally intended as the name of a genre it has kinda stuck also, this song kicks ass
Oh Thanks guys. Now instead of descriptively describing my first ever bad acid trip, I can just play this video. Geez. Way to take the fun out of scaring the kiddies!!! 😂
1:55 LMFAO! its so synced well but man I JUST Discovered this band...like how I listen to a bunch of djent and wanted ball dropping thall and i'm overwhelmed this is the shit best part is that dagger is in 4/4 and 3/4 I CAN LEARN IT MAYBE
@pancakerepairman the song is taken as a part from the whole måsstaden concept.. its like start a book in the middle of the story, without knowing the start or end.
People are expecting too much from a band which lives off of 3 songs and some samples. Musically, this is where they are supposed to be. Also, once the album comes out, this video will make a lot more sense to everyone.
Gepetto tried to carve it into a table leg, cried out at him. He then carved the log into a puppet from which Pinocchio was born. The author also wrote Pinocchio out of pretty much desperation, he was low on funds at the time and scrapped together this story. It became a hit in Italy and had several sequels written on it. Please, don't spread false information, and if you were ill-informed I wish that you would do your research first. Cheers. :)
Almost 10 years later and that bend at 2:41 is still the most recognizable bend in music for me
Ten Ton Hammer to me. But this is cool too.
Genuinely amazed that this hasn’t broken a million yet. Underrated classic.
We have music to normal people, and here we have Vildhjarta.
you, my friend, hit the nail right on the head!
And then there's Panda Bear.
+Eddie O. normal people are shite
+Viktor Sz fuck normal pleople
yeah who needs normal people!! if it wasn't for normal people I could tear my scrotum off and throw it at someone in public!
The way this song makes me feel... is not healthy.
Which is what?
I agree
@@inalingthedead up is nexrt doorn
I wish my nightmares have a backsound music like this,, it would pretty awesome
Listen to the album when you go to sleep then it might creep into your dreams and scare the fuck out of you.
Charlie Cairns actually woke up to the baby screams from this song. had chills over my entire body
Would it really be a nightmare if this was the soundtrack?
I've had dreams worthy of this music but they were good ones :)
Can you hear music in your dreams? Its pretty easy sometimes for me to slip into a lucid dream, i wonder if i could play some of this shit in one of those dreams

Great album, great song, great clip... I only know Vildhjarta for two months, and they're already one of my favorite bands...
The thing with Vildhjarta is that they sat down and said "let's make a heavy ass band" yet they made is interesting not the same regurgitated music the metal scene has heard over and over again.
or they just coppied meshuggah
oddlyfrost nah... pretty meshuggah esque. but dull and hardcore-y
Marsh the Darsh there you go. glad you could come to admit the stupidity of what you said.
oddlyfrost cool, hope the strong headaches from your extra chromosomes don't keep you awake too much at night
Marsh the Darsh thanks for caring man I knew you'd come through
you know a band is metal when they sample screaming women and children
Shane Goldberg Gojira did that first in 2001
Che Maurer what song?
cradle of filth did it back in 1996 with "the rape and ruin of angels"
That was no sample
Maybe check out Gulaggh - Vorkuta. It’s nothing but just that. 😅👍
netflix and thall.

Ever have a dark, incoherant thought that makes sense to you but can not express it to those who will never get it....this.
the artwork for this album is amazing
Vildhjarta's songs always sound like disease, even it doesn't have a sound. But they sure do capture it.
you just explained exactly what i was feeling from listening to this
They sound evil, like something's lurking.
David Lynch dreams while listen Vildhjarta

Br00tal and spoopy... except for when the rabbit guy boops himself on the nose... I laughed 😂
