Jim and Ted and their families put out some of the best wilderness adventure shows out there. Hours and hours of just the best entertainment if that interests you. These guys are the real thing and probably two of a very few who can survive in northern Canada. Highly recommend all their canoe trips.

Great talk Jim, you are a natural public speaker. I found the "champignon" reference funny, tough crowd. That was a tough 75 days out there on the coast. You were able to bring it all home to the audience with the stories and anecdotes. Well done!

That was fantastic story telling...what the heck is up with the audience? And the questions at the end...damn it, I'd have kept him there asking about stuff till his wife pulled him away.
Ah well, good ole Canadian boys survive in the woods.

What a fantastic presentation that clearly was way above the heads of the much to small audience. Jim you deserve a stadium packed with people that won't let you leave because of all the questions.

Was talking to my Brother Tom who has a Love for fishing thats not often felt in humans. Anyway, I'm an artist, I love nature and I've been having summer cabin fever even dreaming of sailing. So I've been surfing youtube when I landed on your shows. Wow you and your brother are incredibly Kind and honest and its just what the doctor ordered. So my brother says what's been up? I say there is this guy on youtube that goes out in the wilds sometimes with his brother sometimes alone. Great guys and smart thinking in the moments totally humble and brilliant with the cameras with places I've dreamed about since. So he says he's been watching Alone! Ihave challenges with my memory and capability of remembering or holding peoples names. So Tom, my brother says, "check it out, I think you'll love it" So dangnabit Could you imagine how cool it would have been to have watched the season already a Fan of the brothers knowing they would win. Funny its the story of my life though I must admit that life is just fine and even better for just how its running. You Tube is like when I was a kid thinking about the impossible. Then look we are here in this future where real life people are able to express themselves. Then you got such greats such pioneers as these two as these other two I've been watching, weeping sometimes for how beautiful their show is. Two lovers on a sailboat living their dreams sharing with us their adventures. Blue water, Atlantic crossings beautiful blue waters, every moment a feast in brilliant silence of the sounds of their lives

Ok. I don't watch TV at all. So until today, I didn't know that you two won that show. I've never seen an episode. Congrats to both of you. Having watched several of your videos, I respected your wilderness abilities. Now, even more so. Both of you are very shining examples of when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Again, well done sirs!

Jim i wanted to share something with you about frostbite.
My mom got frostbite at the age of about 40. At the age of 58 she got frostbite again loading cold pads for semi truck loads. She was a truck driver for many years. After the second time about two-three years after her fingers turned black at the tips. She ended up having to have all 10 digits amputated bro, down to the middle of her fingers.
Just a warning for later in your life bro, keep your fingers from getting a second frostbite again. The phantom pains was always with her till she passed away at 66 years old bro.

That was some difficult living. You are correct duct tape is a must. Knew someone who put a hole in their canoe and was able to patch it with duct tape. Damp, cold and wet are the worst conditions. I like the rock idea. We have watched most of your shows and have learned a few things. Even when we have all the food we need we loose weight on a trip but not as much as you two did. One pant size in 2 weeks.
