    I'm so excited for you! I just gave birth, unmedicated, to my 3rd son Jan. 31st. I used some of the breathing techniques you outlined on your other videos and my nurse said I could teach people to birth 🤣 it made me feel good and I hope it makes you feel good too knowing your info really works and really helps

    • @veevee306
      @veevee306 3 роки тому +2

      Why do people like you brag about "birthing unmedicated" (whatever the hell that means) as if it makes you better or even means anything?

    • @marymohr2799
      @marymohr2799 3 роки тому +21

      @@veevee306 It means they didn't use an Epidural or anything like that. And that's a hard thing to do, and it's worth celebrating. They didn't say they were better then anyone. Every birthing person deserves to have the birth they wanted, and that is worth celebrating.

    • @stefanieebling8919
      @stefanieebling8919 3 роки тому +21

      @@veevee306 uhm not bragging at all and people like me? Whats that supposed to mean?...i mentioned it, because it directly relates to the breathing exercises she spoke about in another video. Also, where you so salty? Its very hard to birth naturally without any medicines at all, and I'm proud of myself for doing it 3 times, I don't care if it bothers you.

    Just wanted to throw out there that amazon has great bras! I recommend the momcozy, it is a bra that has the openings for the breast pump, the straps have the easy snaps to undo it to help breastfeed. Also includes washable inserts instead of foam padding and they give you an extender!! In case the band doesnt fit you use the extender to give an extra 2 inches!!!

    I just had my first baby in March and didn’t use most of my stuff after our birth went a very very different direction than planned! The plan was unmedicated and ended in a 30 hour induction 😅😅 she then got stuck rotating from OP and stopped progressing when she got stuck against my tailbone. But we did it! Flex and flow, and the epidural saved us from a c-section, even if I only had it for about 2 hours of labor and then 1 hour of pushing! I’m also so glad I brought my own water cup because my hospital only provided tiny styrofoam cups

    Some of the products you showed made me smile a little. Remembered my labour and there was no way I needed eye masks and essential oils. 😊🤩🤣 I was dilated to 8 when I finally got my epidural. Once it kicked in I asked for my lipbalm ( lips tend to get super dry from the gas & air and super heavy breathing) and scrunchie and managed to drink water from a cup. That was all I needed for labour.

I have severe allergies so I am hoping for unmedicated vag birth but whew if she waits much longer I am so uncertain due to that size. Hallo Elizabeth
    I have a question. I have had a HYSTEROSCOPIC PROCEDURE done before we did a IVF, i am now 37 and a couple of days pregnant.
    Now my question.
    If work was done on my Uterus ( because it wasnt shaped correctly, hence why we didnt fall pregnant naturally. Can i opt for a Vaginal birth or should i opt for a c-section ? Im really worried about this and no one is giving me a straight answer.
    Would really appreciate a reply ❤

    So I have used those honey pot pads before. I have slightly sensitive skin but not terribly sensitive. While the "cooling" sounds really great when you're all tore up down there, when I used them it felt like my lady parts were on fire. It was so uncomfortable, not only while I had it on but for a couple hours later.

      I personally am not the biggest fan of castor oil because I’ve seen a lot of people come in pooping their brains out 😬. Definitely check with your provider and see what they recommend for you.

    I gave birth two weeks ago to my second at 37 weeks 4 days(my first was born 38 weeks 4 days! So I was in shock when I went a week early and he was a pound heavier then my daughter even though he was a week earlier). I had a second degree tear again and a tear in labia. He came pretty quick, I pushed him out in 13 mins compared to 1 hour 20 mins with my daughter). I'm starting to get really itchy, I don't think I used anything with my first but this time the itching is intense. I use tucks wipes after using the bathroom and I get Epsom salt baths and showers to make sure it's all clean down there. I can never get use to using the perineum bottle. I'm getting so itchy in vagina, labia and perineum..basically everywhere there is a stitch. Is there something that will help the itch?

    Torrid has exactly what you just asked for in a nursing bra. No wire a little lace the pads don’t move and it snaps in the back

    I'm due in August and its my first baby. I've been binging so many videos about everything. My mom had to be induced with all 4 of us and my sister had to be induced with her baby in February. I'm worried I'm gonna have to get induced, but my dr also told me I have a friable cervix and when researching about that it said the baby could come early. I have no clue when to pack my bag lol.

    On Amazon: Fruit of the loom seamless wire free. The 1st result that isn't an ad, the main pic is Heather grey. Honestly, not super pretty, but the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. I normally wear sports bras at work because I work a heavy labor job (lol not a pun) and I wear these now instead.

    My husband has his own diaper bag for the sheer reason that he can't find what I ask him for, even though I tell him exactly where it's at. Then because he can't find find it he makes a complete mess out of the bag.

    Can you make a video about the best way to make sure you are clear about what you do and do not consent to during labor. For example I just heard about the “husband stitch”?!? How do I ensure my doctor knows I do not consent to that without coming off as crazy?

    • @Nurse_zabe
      @Nurse_zabe  3 роки тому

      I certainly can. I do have a video on making decisions in labor. I think your best bet is to have these conversations ahead of time with your provider. I will say I’ve never seen a provider do or suggest a husband stitch. Not saying it doesn’t happen. Writing down your birth plan/preferences can also be helpful in communicating too!

    For the bra. Go to Victoria’s Secret and ask for a full coverage wireless T-shirt bra. I think you’ll really like those and they’re not as pricey as their other bras and at the end of may and the whole month of June, a lot of them go on clearance to be like $20 and cheaper and cheaper throughout June.
