      Ordered my first printer yesterday, Saturn 3, and using these videos to learn, really helpful and straightforward. Thanks for the series from the UK

    Thank you for the upload you explained everything perfectly for the slicing program it harder to find a program for mac?

      Lychee slicer is my favourite to use with these resin printers and it'll work on Macintosh Computers perfect - core-electronics.com.au/guides/resin-printing-3d-slicing-software/

    I think the process needs clarification here.... You have a protective film on the LCD + a sheet of paper to home the build plate Z height. Then immediately pull off the protective film.
    Now that film is about the same thickness of the paper.... so are you saying you level to 2 x sheets of paper once you've removed the protective film for all future leveling events?

    Great video. What gloves do you recommend? I have mixed search results. Some say 100% nitrate. Others a blend between nitrate and vinyl. What are your thoughts?
    Same question regarding the correct type of filter for the breathing mask. I've got a 3M mask but I see different types of filters.
    Thanks for your wisdom

      Nitrate gloves are excellent for me and those 3M mask are going to do a fabulous job 😊. Good luck on your 3D printing adventures!

    In the manual is says to loosen, home and then tighten on the protective covering without the A4 paper. I've had my resin printer for over 3 months without trying it yet!! I want to make sure I understand how to use it before I try, maybe in a couple months (not really)!!! LOL!

    • @Core-Electronics
      @Core-Electronics  2 роки тому

      Haha, once you start Resin Printing is very hard to slow down 🙂
      I just prefer using the A4 Paper Method over the FEP Method. The paper is just there to 'emulate' the FEP sheet. Once you've used the tank a couple of times I find using the paper cleaner and also as a reminder to loosen the screws of the tank.

    I live in a pretty tight space. Only my room is suitable to print in; however it’s small and I’m forced to close my door so my dog doesn’t pee in it. Should I just open a window when printing or?

    I'm looking to start 3D printing on my own, so is the LD-002H a good model for beginners? Does the printer come with a bottle of resin, or is that separate?

    • @Core-Electronics
      @Core-Electronics  11 місяців тому

      If you're looking to get started with resin 3D printing the LD-002H is a good system to get started on. The printer doesn't come with resin that will need to be purchased separately. Good luck on your 3D printing journey!

    Amazing video! Question: How does this model compare to the Creality Halot One? I can pick up either for the same price! But I cant find what the differences are between the Halot vs the ld002h (is it the same thing?)

    • @Core-Electronics
      @Core-Electronics  Рік тому

      Halot has got a larger build platform (thus larger 3D prints) but it will take some more finesse to keep all stations clean, functioning and working properly. If your just diving into this world I highly recommend the ld002h.

    So you leveled with a piece of paper AND the protective sheet at the same time? :D That woule equal 2 layer FEP and to high leveling ;) :P

    Did any of the resin make it from the filter into (rather than on to) the bottle?

    • @Core-Electronics
      @Core-Electronics  2 роки тому +1

      A tiny bit..I now highly recommend using the filter when pouring into the Tank, instead of using it when pouring back into the Bottle

      @@Core-Electronics could probably make a 3d print to have a funnel held in place over the vat that holds the filter. 3-in-1

    • @Core-Electronics
      @Core-Electronics  2 роки тому

      I love that idea 😊 I've also seen people use very large syringes to move their resin around which appears to work very effectively

    • @macgyvervanschwartzenstall4662
      @macgyvervanschwartzenstall4662 2 роки тому

      @@Core-Electronics a slip tip instead of the normal luer lock is probably what the person reading this wants. 60ml syringes should be very easy to get with slip tips bc they are used very frequently in the medical field.

    I homed the base plate an the resin isn't sticking to the plate. I've had this printer for a year. Havnt used it in about 2 months. I'm back to using it an my resin won't stick to the base plate. I've tried this method 3 times an nothing. Not really sure what to do. Hope you can help.

    would there be any new parameter fornthe new firmware for halot one? i have a plant based resin esun, temp isnt that cold nor warm.

    • @Core-Electronics
      @Core-Electronics  2 роки тому

      All the settings that exist for Creality LD-002 Printers will exist for the Creality Halot One Printers. I haven't had experience with the plant based resins but I am definitely very curious.
