I use it as a detangling conditioner and never rinse it out. Before I started using ACV or Vinegar, wash days were a nightmare because the final rinse always left my hair a tangled web mess. Out of desperation one day, I poured the vinegar in my hair and the effect was amazing and unbelievable. My hair auto detangled as soon as it came in contact with the vinegar. It was an accidental discovery, but vinegar(ACV and other types) has become an essential part of my wash day routine or else I'll be dead.
I use it to detangle prior to washing. I use it 1:4 in a spray bottle with warm water and apply to my scalp, massage it in and then spread through the length of my hair. The shed hairs come out really easily and my hair is so soft.
I love ACV rinses. I apply before shampooing, and sometimes before leave in conditioner. Great video, I just used the Cantu Shea Butter ACV wash. Pretty Good.
This product seems amazing. I want to try it because it seem so easy to apply. That is very important to me because I don't like the complicated wash days.
I may try GItUSum. ACV is a great cleanser. Especially for itchy scalps like mine. I used ACV with water in a applicator bottle instead of using shampoo. I rarely wash hair with shampoo. Great tutorial!
I've used it as a scalp cleanser and part of my clay mask but never as a detangler. Thanks for the tip. I'm going to have to try that especially as the fall session approaches.
I use apple cider vinegar as a rinse for 30 minutes then I rinse it out then I shampoo my hair then deep condition my hair. I would like to know what's a good leave in conditioner??
I am trying not to become a product junkie and so, I usually stick with my normally used products. But, I like to support BOB's and so I may budget for this. Now, just last night ( my wash day), I used acv. The product I use is from All Things O Natural and they have a acv rinse (Natty ACV hair and scalp mist). It is infused with natural ingredients. I spray it on my scalp, massage it in, wait about 20 min, rinse and shampoo, or clay my hair. I follow up with a deep conditioner. Also, with their acv, it can be used to moisturize the hair (I only use before wash), then you can seal with the Natty Butter. You are right, acv does detangle. Before washing my hair; as previously stated, I spray on my scalp, I also spray on my hair and it detangles nicely. I have also used it in my scalp before co-washing my hair.
Sometimes, I do an avc rinse as a co wash, mid week. Otherwise, I do it as part of my wash day routine and it is just a mix of raw acv and water. I was expecting to see you give tips on the acv & water mix, BUT I still enjoyed the video and think you had really good results, with the product line featured.
DiscoveringNatural I like that you add peppermint. I'll try it, once I'm done breastfeeding. Do you think tea tree will also work as an astringent, for the time being? I am assuming that for recording purposes, you're doing it on dry hair (in both videos). Would you say that one method yields better results than the other (wet vs dry), or no?
DiscoveringNatural Great, I will use tea tree, for the time being! Please, let me know how you feel about using it on wet hair, once you've tried it! And as always, thanks, for replying :)
Thank you, answered my question also I never tried it but will. Also how do you make your own Apple Cider Vineger? Do you use the light or dark color vinegar?
Great video can I use acv that is not raw or organic? The brands I saw in a supermarket is Apple cider vinegar without the mother. It's kinda pretty difficult to get Bragg's brand where I live. The one I saw is Whitehouse acv without the mother but I saw was little brown particles that coagulated at the bottom in small quantities. Sorry for the long sentences.
lovetobelaurax9 x9 Do you mean styling it? If so and you have a small afro (TWA), I think there isn't much you can do, for styling. An afro (obviously), maybe some finger or comb coils (if you like that look) and accessories (headbands, flowers, clips, shells or golden clamps from the beauty supply store). I wouldn't suggest trying to force it into a puff. It may cause damage to your edges.
Beautiful Woman, beauty Thank You You are right apple cider vinegar rinse is good for your scalp and hair. Thank You God Bless 😇 Love and Peace 👄 Be Blessed 🌷
I don't mean to be rude, but why do you always refer to your hair's darkness as if the product had something to do with it? Also, you just tried this product and you already know that it prevents breakage? Just wondering...
+marian B You are not being rude, just speaking your mind 😉 To answer your questions, regarding me referring to my hair's darkness, My hair has a dull look when it has product build up on it. It might not show so much on camera, but I know my hair. Apple Cider Vinegar is a type of clarifying agent and it helps in removing product buildup. In regards to hair breakage, this is not the first time I am using this product, I mentioned that numerous times in the video. If you watch my hair loss video, you will see how I monitor my hair shedding and hair loss from breakage to see how a product works. Here is the link if you haven't seen it bit.ly/DN_Do_Hair_Loss_Products_Work Thanks for watching and posting thought-provoking comment👍
+DN..Well, I heard you mention that you used the product, and not much of it was used..unless you've been using this product b4 sho-casing it here on your channel. I just started wondeing b/c you did the same thing with "Groganics." OK, I understand what you mean about your hair color now...just a bit confused b/c your hair always looks very dark to me anyway. Thank you for saying that it was "thought-provoking," instead of getting annoyed...I'd rather youtubers state if they're just trying out a product, to be honest, that's all. Sorry if I sounded like I was accusing you of not being honest. I'm re-watching the video and if you look at the point to where u say you've used quite a bit, was not accurate...anyway, I'll stop "nit-picking," and keep it movin..
*How do you use Apple Cider Vinegar in your hair?*

+Tekishia Chambers it makes my hair feel Oh so Soft 😉
Thank you, answered my question also I never tried it but will. Also how do you make your own Apple Cider Vineger? Do you use the light or dark color vinegar?
I do not make apple cider vinegar on my own but I do make the rinse like this ua-cam.com/video/ITjNShNH5ks/v-deo.html
Is it okay to use acv every week on the hair or is it too harsh? I love clarifying with it once a month but would love to be able to use it more.
+Monay T. It all depends on the acv rinse you use. I am able to use this once a week with no problem. When I do my diy rinse, I use it less often .
Do you have to warm the water then add acv to clarify your hair?
For this product, follow the steps. You can also do this ua-cam.com/video/mTvNuo9lm-w/v-deo.html
Seems like a great product line. Is it available in Beauty Supply stores yet?
