Damn, that works in every way possible. VERY cool tones! Those A2 Slash pickups are quite dark (as expected) but do have a nice edge......and once again, add in the Amp Driver and you can make it sound any way you like apparently! Very few pedals make my list, this just has.

Great playing, great tones. The way it boosted for the high gain stuff was amazing and those blues tones from the 5151 clean channel were absolutely incredible. It sounded like a vintage tube amp, not a pedal.

Apparently, the Gibson Adam Jones Les Paul Standard was made at Nashville.
Sounds great, very transparent overdrive to my ears, with what i can see a lot of settings included with buttons and switches.
killer tones man....especially the downtune ones...was it the GnR riff from the "nigthtrain" @ 21:40? I'd love some downtune with passives as well...:)...great vid...\m/

I remember when the Chandler Tube Driver pedal came out, with an actual 12ax7 inside of it and ran it through a solid state Ampeg combo. The combination was nothing to brag about but it did raise my eyebrow, and realized solid state distortion mostly wasn't the best.

For my wars with passive pickups sounds better with this pedal then acitive. Hmmm
No reason for war 'cos of pickups IMO. Well i guess there's no reason for war in general. I like both and both have their time and place depending of the production etc.

Nope. I mean if the sound in my head for any given song/production calls for one then yes but I can’t remember if I’ve ever found a need to do that. I’ve been using SD-1 or Tube Screamer since 90s in front of any amp and if it ain’t broken…😎
EDIT: Just remembered that I did a session in early 2000s where I only brought a few guitars with me and used the studio’s Boogie Dual Rectifier with Boss GE-7 in front to make the amp tighter by cutting lows.
And back in the day when wireless systems weren’t that good I boosted lows and highs with an eq pedal to make it sound like I was playing with a cable.
