    So in short Cupuacu is an emollient as in max hydration/moisturize and Murumuru is more of sealant it keeps your moisture/hydration in. They compliment each other. Thanks a bunch. I know where to go to treat myself. Do you deliver in Australia or France?

    Does it make sense to have a DIY hair butter that contains both butters?

    How does it compare to Shea butter? I've been using shea on my skin and it's been good but I think it's clogging my pores a tiny bit. I have a cleanser by Dermatologica that I very much like and it has Murumuru butter in eat so I thought why not try the butter.

    Cupuaçu is basically a humectant then?

    Hello what butters are good to thicken the hair where the hair is thinning, and hair growth?

    When it comes to body butter which one absorbs more? I’ve been working w shea butter and I realized I’m not a fan of its natural odor or the greasiness it doesn’t absorb into the skin just sticks on top which isn’t what I’m looking for. Would either of these butters give me a better result? I just want somethjng moisturizing but absorbing !!

      In her website she says Cupuacu absorbs better to the skin. I also recommend you check out the East African Shea Butter. In my opinion is not greasy and It has a creamy texture. I will recommend you check out my favorite company Shea Terra Organics I buy my East African Shea butter there. I think you will like this type of butter.

    So for my natural 4c hair Cupaucu, would be good to Moisturize, and Murumuru to seal in?... By the way I just made my first order with you. Terribly excited to get them! I order your sampler, and your hair butter mix. CANNOT WAIT!!!

    Can someone pls advise all the exotic butters with lower melting points where u can just take them & rub them into skin in 1 minute less? Cupuacu seems to be. What about Tucuma, bacuri etc?
    I looking for butters to apply to face for moisturization & anti-aging/ sun damage repair. Not hard butters like cocoa butter or butters with cocoa butter hardness, no chocolate smell (coffee is ok)& no super waxy butters.
    Also of the exotic butters if there are some that are great for moisturization & hyperpigmentation healing but they have to be heated up just simply by stove or microwave) pls let me know. Thanks!

      Jennifer Hill never use a mircrowave it will ruin the goodness in the butters all you have to do is melt Shea or capucha butter is in double boiler type method and whip them with a oil of your choice if you want ultimate spreading if not just heat while put them in the fridge to heat up quickly so you don’t get any separation in the fatty acid content which cause some butters to get grainy
      And voilà 👌

    Do either of these butters naturally contain latex? I just watched a video that said Shea butter naturally contains latex so I need to find another butter to substitute for Shea butter in recipes.

    • @Rhys-Morgan
      @Rhys-Morgan 5 років тому

      Lynelle Thompson
      You can try cupuacu as a substitute for shea/cocoa/avocado/mango butters or anything tropical if you have a type B latex allergy. You need to research what fruits are in the latex family. You can also try babassu oil which is semi solid like a butter.
      Contact Christine on her website at www.rainforestchica.com for any questions concerning latex in her Brazilian products as she gets them directly from her home country of Brazil. She’ll answer you. However, she’s in Brazil to replenish her shop and won’t be back until July 23rd, I think 🤔

    Which is lighter for the hair? Shea butter weighs my hair down. Which is good for dry hair? Which is lighter? Is murmur butter waxy when it melts in your hand? Or does it stay greasy like shea butter.

    • @THEE.apples
      @THEE.apples 5 років тому

      I heard Cupaucu is lighter and doesnt feel greasy. But thats only what i heard, i havent experienced it yet.

    • @vulcans0soul
      @vulcans0soul 4 роки тому

      Cupuacu is silky and non greasy and a very good moisturizer. It does not give you the icky shiny grease look that shea does.
      Murumuru is silky too, only harder and not as good as a moisturizer. It acts more like an emollient. It is kinda like a natural silicone. If you combine both butters you get a perfect haircare butter to use on wet hair.
