Nice video, like your enthusiasm. However that was not a Cypriot gyro, that’s a typical Greek gyro. And in Greece the meat is called gyro, not donner. Donner is the Turkish name. Lastly, the Ottomans were not “welcomed“ because they were invaders, killing the Greeks. It would be like comparing it to Nazis being welcomed in Europe.
