my usual go to's are Cantu leave in conditioner, coconut oil, and eco styler. Sometimes I go in with Aunt Jackies 'curl mane-tenance' shit. I only use a lil bit of everything though

true, because texturism in the natural hair community is a big issue, it's like colourism in brown communites, your proximity to whiteness/nonblackness equates to you some how being better. so it did rub me the wrong way that it was like his main focus throughout the vid but whatever

Semi or permanent, you need bleach for highlights regardless. If it’s done right the hair texture will not be damaged 😁
