Thank you for the video! I tossed the instructions so I was hoping you'd show them and you did. I want to say, to anyone who's interested in buying this product I'd take a pass on it. It failed within 2 days, the prongs that detect that a mug is placed are flimsy and will get stuck inside the coaster itself.
This happened to me. We bought two, like them when they work (watch out for that lid coming off). My charger had one of the tiny spring loaded contact pins collapse. I took it apart in an attempt to repair (screws under rubber ring on bottom). Those contacts are CHEAP and DELICATE. No joy on repair. No luck finding a way to buy just a charging coaster or just the postage stamp sized piece of green circuit board with the pins which is inside the coaster. Now we have two cups and one charging coaster.
Just bought mine from Walmart $39 not exactly like yours except lights are different doesn't have digital numbers just lights but I don't like the directions does not tell you how to clean this thing can you run it underwater inside and outside or just the inside how hot of water can you put in it in the beginning 190 degrees ?
I would just clean the inside so that it doesn't get damaged. As far as how hot of water to put in that's up to you really. It'll just be really hot once it's heated to the temp you want.
so just cranked out $40 for this at walmart and the red light has beem on for over 12 hours, not sure why it isnt getting fully charged. I set the mug temp to 145 and the contents still have not reached that temp. I like my coffee starbucks pipung hot so I might be taking this thing back.
So sorry for the really late response! It only takes a minute or two to heat up. I poured hot coffee into the mug and it kept it nice and hot for about an hour.
I just got this from Walmart today, $20 but mine is SO DIM you can barely see the lights to tell what temp it is, even the red light is barely visible, could it be because its dead? and if so how long does it take to charge fully?
So sorry for the late response! It could be dead. I believe it took about an hour to charge mine, but I wasn't really paying much attention while it was charging. You might have gotten a bad model too : (

I got one of these in the clearance aisle and figured it was worth checking out - how do you wash yours?
Hand wash the mug and wipe the coaster clean.

Does the coaster itself charge? It doesn't have a battery. I think it just has to be plugged in to charge the battery in the cup.
Yes. It comes with a wall adaptor that you plug in to charge the coaster.

If you're a slow coffee drinker, it is nice to keep your coffee warm, especially if yo are sipping on your coffee while you are working on something.
