Please continue to make Organic / Education vids like these, they are inspiring because you give the proper iinformation that a creative or business minded person would appreciate
Thank you for sharing the info. It's something that my friend shared with me the other day. There are people that gatekeep the information for selfish purposes but sharing what you learned and what's helped you will in turn help us. There's enough bad ass pieces to go around.
I love your energy! 2 minutes into watching your video for the first time and immediately subscribing! You have such a lovable vibe, thank you for doing your part in helping save our planet💛
So helpful 😍 thank you so much I’ve been collecting vintage items while thrifting and had enough to post a UA-cam haul which I just posted and was totally lost on how to identify and figure out the era this was a God send!
I loved this video! You provided so many essentials to identifying vintage. I don't have much experience with vintage t-shirts and I had no idea that Michael Jordan for Hanes was the start of tagless in 2002! I sell vintage on Poshmark, eBay and Etsy and love following you on Instagram. I just started youtube last week and love watching your channel already!
Thank you!!! I'm so excited you started youtube!! I've loved your closet and instagram for ages! You have such a good curated personal collection. Can't wait to see the content you put out because I know you have some knowledge to drop in the vintage world
I'm here from Courtney. You were the only one I subscribed to. Yes, courtney showed lots of great swaps daily but you were the most unique! What you havei is definitely a gift! 😊🌲👍📦👗👚🧣👖🩳🥿👜👍 P.s. thanks for your great tips, I'm very new selling on Ebay.
Well hello there. I have been resseling used videogames and consoles and I realized that there are also some videogame clothing that are rare and can actually make me even more money so I decided to do a search for vintage clothing and ended up here. We have a really great app here in Europe called vinted where we can buy and sell clothing, as well as other stuff. I never been interested in clothing before, but at 1:53 minute on this video and I might even be more interested now I'm other stuff rather than just videogame themed cloth. So thank u for that:)
Thank you so much for the links in the description! I’ve forgotten so much since I burned out and quit selling in 2016... (rebooting my online shop now).
I know this video isn't exactly recent but I wanted to give you props for these great tips! I've been paying attention to RN/CA numbers as I thrift and have noticed some garments have both the RN and CA numbers. Is one better than another to refer to for finding an estimated decade? I found a nifty RN calculator that guesses the year but haven't been able to find one for CA numbers. Thoughts/advice? Thanks so much for your helpful video!
wow i never know that this kind of video is exist, mostly i go with my feeling, when i find its unique whether its the fabric or the cutting ill grab it as fast as i can
I swear that yellow dress at 9:30 is handmade. Especially if it is a velour material. My mom made me an orange and yellow dress back in the day and it looked almost exactly like it. Lol
I heard that most stores throw anyways new clothing just because they couldn't sell them by a certain time. Plus I know one thrift shop that throw away a lot of their stuff just because they couldn't sell them. I think its really sad that people throw away some much clothes.
I’m quite confused with “ vintage “ thrifting. Are clothes made in 19s to 20s means vintage? Like these days, there are also thrifting shops which sells second handed clothes, are those also called vintage ? I’m really into clothing which are made in the 19s.
Do you buy multiple things from people online. I am a little heavy in clothing and i mainly do toys or pop culture tings of that sort . Also i have candy ...
I hope that with ppl finding vintage fashion exciting I also hope and wish you would educate a bit more. The fact that you said for those of you that don’t know who Gloria Vanderbilt is……Really? If they don’t know who she s but they know who Anderson Cooper is tells me they are not a true lover of vintage wear
I’m not interested in what sellers refer to as “trendy” vintage…it’s more of quality, design for me. Trends come and go, however, quality, beautiful materials (buttons, closures, zippers, stitching); these things cannot be replicated. Finally, I prefer to search out my my own clothing in little known areas. It seems people have jumped on the so called vintage train and the pricing is absolutely vulgar. Take your time research before you hunt for true quality vintage items(clothing and accessories.) it will prevent you from being “priced gauged.”
Ok I am just going to say this... If you can't tell something is old then there might be something wrong with you lol. Everything used to be much better quality and thicker fabrics.. Like everything has changed.
Not everyone is aware of that, plus if you are a younger person and have no experience thrifting or have never owned better quality vintage pieces how would you know? Doesnt mean something is wrong with them.

Love this haircut on you! As a former pixie girl, I get it!
I miss my pixie hair in a daily basis 😂 but I don’t miss the maintenance that goes along with it ❤️
@@lauravonv Exactly. It’s so much effort.

Also go by measurements and not by the tag size sometimes because sizes changed through the years.

This was super helpful! Thank you! Does the neck trick only work for high waisted denim?

Great and informative video! Thank you!! :)
Hi love your video, with uk vintage tees would it have made in the uk on the tag instead of made in the US?
You're cool. And funny. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing really great stuff :)

Why are so many tags cut out? Did people not want to see their size?
Keep in mind a lot more people made their clothes home made, which also wouldn’t have tags.
"I'm not a magician" 😂 same
