You have a way of making the 'unfun' stuff very enjoyable indeed ... the beads you've chosen are perfect. I'm really looking forward to seeing the triplets flip through. TFS your technique for making these spines come to life.

Hi Sara-Lee, I have beaded down a spine a couple of times, it is very tedious, but I like the tip of gluing the end of the thread to make it harder and give a finer point, so much better than using a very small piece of sticky tape to make a tittle, very fiddly and doesn’t always work as it makes the tip thicker and has a tendency to unravel, which was my go to in the past, this is such a simple and easier method. I love all the little tips you give, you are so very generous with your time and skills, thank you, and I am always amazed at how you can make all of these wonderful things on your bed. 👍💖🇦🇺🥰🤗

The glue on the thread is genius!! I hope the needle didn’t get lost at the end as I’m sure my calling out “the magnet” wouldn’t have helped you. The beading is gorgeous so thank you for sharing that technique. Sewing in signatures is always a super awkward endeavor.

Sara this is another wonderful and very helpful video. The beads were a first for me and I loved the look. Also putting a clip to hold the end of the thread - how many times has the thread slipped thru - is a great tip. Also gluing the end of the thread and using it alone with the beads - so many little tips that we can use. Thank you for all of this. Have to start looking thru my bead collection. Hugs

I really like the beads on the spine. I've never done that before and watching you bead yours was very helpful. (Ooops, sorry for the boo-boo. I hate when that happens.) Love the tip about the glue on the end of the string and that it helps to thread the beads on. All those little strings do make it hard to get them all going the same direction. Thanks for this tutorial. Don't worry about someone else's tutorial possibly being more succinct; yours are more relatable and as another commenter said--you make it fun. Happy New Year (if I haven't said that already.)
