I was born exactly two weeks after Virginia Tech and it genuinely enrages my mom because we’re Korean immigrants who came to the US for a better life. My mom and sister were in Canada before the US and were supposed to arrive in the US on April 17, the day after it happened. But their visas were delayed, resulting in my birth in Toronto when I should’ve been born in Manhattan and we didn’t get to the US until June 2008 and I was already a year old at that point. To this day, my mom strongly believes that the shooting was why our visas were delayed and pushed back for over a year and it makes her angry. I still think about how much easier my life would be if I was born in the states.
Robb Elementary School shooting. 21 dead (19 students & 2 teachers), and 17 injured. May 24th 2022. Edit: Apalachee High School shooting. 4 dead (2 students & 2 teachers), and 7 injured. September 4th 2024.
I used to live in hondo and when that happend i started crying. I was driving into SA on that day, 90E, and saw 10+ SAPD/emergency vehicles and when i said "wonder what thats about" my spouse immedeately said "you didnt hear about the school shooting?" And i started crying. I lived in the neighboring town, hondo, as a kid and that just hit WAY too close. Then to hear everything later, about the cops, the parents, the kids that lived and everything, it hurt. Im in my early 20s so to know that this was the first time it was a community i was familiar with personally, it hurt.
I live with someone that went through the Heath High School shooting here in West KY, he was the 911 dispatcher that day when it happened, and i was still young when i heard about it, knowing that it could happen to the school i went to someday, and we had active shooter drills almost every other month next to storm drills, i was absolutely terrified going to school, all the way up to the day i graduated, knowing those people suffered and the person that did it is now in jail, yet this kinda thing happens every year. As an adult, every day i wish that stuff like this wouldn't happen anymore because it's just...heartbreaking, devastating, and horrible to see. Thank you for being respectful about this subject, as it's just....painful to know about stuff like this. Hopefully one day, we'll never see another school being shot up ever again.
The twisted thing is that my Dad had graduated Tech 3 years before, he stayed in Pritchard Hall for his freshman year. I’m so glad my Dad was out of Collage at this time, I thank The Virgin Mary for that.
If this is him "being serious" and "not joking around" then his videos must be HYSTERICAL because there's no way I'm not the only one that could not take this seriously because of the horribly delivered metaphors and the music at the end
i don't know how to explain this, but i feel like his video is...kinda disrespectful? I generally didnt like how he used a more "happy" music in the background for the entirety of the video, and also how he occasionally made jokes (ex. joking about the sandy hook shooter killing his mom first in the morning)
My mom had a sudden emotional breakdown one time because she had just gotten back from experiencing a real, but uneventful, lockdown at the preschool she worked at, and while washing the dishes, she suddenly started crying after remembering hearing about Sandy Hook on the news back in 2012. It still gives me chills just thinking about it.
Idk why people are saying this guy was being respectful in the comments. There should be no comparisons, no jokes, no silly drawings, sound effects, etc. for the WHOLE VIDEO. Each one is bad in its own way and all should be talked about carefully.
These guys were all cowards. You choose to take the lives of many people just because YOU were unhappy with something. Rest in Piece to all of the poor souls that were just trying to get through the day
Those poor people and kids. I can understand why people want to limit gun rights. If my kid died to a school shooting I would want to take away guns too. I know they’ll never take guns away, they should really give teachers some sort of self protection so they can protect their students, maybe pay for gun lessons. It’s a shame we have to even think of that.
In Texas, Idaho, Kansas, South Dakota, and Missouri do allow their teachers to be armed. While in Oregon, California, New Mexico, Nebraska, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Hampshire, and Maine don't allow it. Pennsylvania is marked unclear. And all other states allow it in certain circumstances. In other words, 5 states allow it, 17 states don't, and 25 states allow it in certain circumstances
@@Pennsylvania_Countryball oh wow that’s really cool that five states allow it! I wish the other 17 would allow it too. What do the 25 states mean by “circumstances” most school shootings happen without warning, are they just supposed to predict when it happens? Or do they allow the teachers to arm themselves after the school shooting just in case it happens again?
One of my teachers was at Virginia Tech. She always told us that she’d protect us no matter what if something ever happened, and she was clearly on her guard near-constantly. One of the sweetest people I’ve ever met

My friend went to Robb elementary during 2022 when the shooting happened, he was in one of the 5th grade classes next to the room that got shot, he moved in 6th grade to my school, and tells me he still has trauma about the experience, and some of his classmates claimed to see the bodies 😔.
We had a lockdown in 6th grader it was a false alar, but he was crying when he hard thus became it all came back to him, he left in 8th grade, but goes to one of the high schools near me
When Parkland happened, I was in high school. Then not too long after, Santa Fe happened. We stopped thinking about how it would stop. Now we thought about how to survive one. I felt the sadness off my dad’s face when I told him that it’s not so surprising anymore when it happens, now it’s just a matter of time before it happens to us
Thank you for being so respectful, RIP to everyone effected, and I pray those who survived have or are getting mental help for PTSD... To those who think "haha this is cool" go get some help...(I'm talking about those who look up to the past school shooters as "influencers", they are not influencers they are mentally unwell people) doing this carnage is not worth it, get some help, getting help can avoid this catastrophe.
Here's a video idea. On Halloween, explain some curses, like Curse of Pele, Curse of Billy Goat, The Bartman Ball curse, broken mirror curse, walk under ladder curse, opening an umbrella inside curse, and etc.
The fact that politicians only keep using school shootings as an opportunity to speak rhetoric about disarming us instead of actually fortifying schools or detecting psychopaths whenever they can, or fail to actually stop bullying, speaks even more. And if you ironically believe the first part, you’d be part of the problem.
Virginia Tech changed SWVA so much. Most of my friends were either too young to remember or not yet born but our parents remember and all of them are tied to it. One of my friends was born at like 1 am on 4/17/07, my best friend’s dad owns the bar the shooter went to before he shot up the school, many of my friends parent worked at VT including one’s mom who was pregnant with her who worked in the greenhouse where he stored his guns. My mom was at one of the surrounding hospitals and she said it was a complete madhouse. Every anniversary we hear the stories from our teachers, including a one who was in the hall when it happened, and everyone is on edge that someone is gonna decide to shot us up that day.
My school (and a lot of schools in Texas) had many threats on Sep. 13. It was horrifying. Four kids where arrested, because two had guns, one kid brutally attacked his victim after school, and one kid AT MY SCHOOL was arrested and we still don’t know why I can’t tell you how sickening my classmates cries were. I had to go to the bathroom and just pray and throw up multiple times. We are lucky that no one got hurt, but may the gods save all victims, and rest in peace to those who fell
The one in Texas will always be the worst for me because I was in the same grade when it happened, all the kids were talking about it that morning, it scared tf out of me, it doesn’t make it better that more lives could have been saved if the cops didn’t wait out in the hallway for 2 hours, I’ve seen cops who are much braver.
I live in Santa Fe. When I was little and heard the high school had a shooting, I was traumatized. Rest in peace to the people who died in the shooting.
Friend (or Ex friend actually) after Parkland occured when we were in 7th grade they got in serious trouble for making a joke saying Nicolas did what he did because it was valentine's day and he was tired of being single or something along those lines and said they'd do the same if that was the case...immediately unfriended

18:18 I did a double take when I saw my school on the thumbnail. I was in 5th grade when the shooting happened. I had a friend in cub scouts who lost his sister, and from what I’ve heard, his mother didn’t take it too well. I’m a senior now, I still go to Santa Fe, and there is actually a statue dedicated to those who lost their lives that day. That day brought an already tightly knit community together. It was a sad day, but we recovered

A month ago, a sixth grader was arrested for having a handgun at school (just to clarify, it’s a middle school, I’m in 8th grade). To make it even worse, the week before, there was a school shooting at high school in the same state. School shootings are just terrible and no one should go through them. Thank you for being respectful.
I was in middle school when columbine happend. April vacation and I watched it all on the news. Sandy hook I was pregnant with my second child and getting ready to send my oldest to kindergarten that fall. A school shooting is my biggest fear. I do drills with my kids so they know how to survive through it. I don’t sugar coat it. I will always do what I can do help change the schools for the better! No child should have to get killed at school. No parent should bury their babies! My heart aches for all the victims
I LIVE in Roseburg Oregon, where the UCC shooting took place. I am twelve years old, and was three when it happened. Because of that, I didn’t even know it did happen. So you can imagine my surprise when I heard it was on this list. I asked my mom about it, she actually was going to school at UCC at that time. But guess what? That Thursday, when the shooting happened, my mom had a cold. She stayed home sick, being a model student, she was really upset she had to stay home. But she thanked god for it later.
I was in middle school during the santa fe shooting and we went into lockdown… one of the scariest experiences i’ve ever had in life especially whenever whispers of why we were in lockdown spread around the classroom, I remember being so scared for my uncle who was attending the school at the time but by a stroke of luck (or a common act of delinquency) he had a skipped the day.
Dont only blame the shøøters, also blame the schools for never going anything about peoples safety. Schools would rather spend money on offending our rights than protecting multiple young people’s lives.
This is so tragic. Mental health, school-related, and gun safety issues in the us need to be addressed and fixed or these homicides will never be stopped and innocent people, including these children, will keep dying.
As a student in Colorado Ive had to undergo 3 lockdowns due to shootings at neighboring schools. one of the most recent ones the police officers just stood outside while shots keep going off in the school and when parents tried to go in to save their kids they were instead withheld by the cops and put in handcuffs.
I was in 8th grade when SFHS shooting happened. My dad was a first responder, he showed up and saved a girl who had a wound through her artery in her leg.
We need more often a Disclaimer, those experiment videos really disturbed me. Giving kids as an experiment some serious diseases is just beyond my understanding…

crazy that it goes from one of the most depressing school shooting accidents ever in Santa Fe to immediately a happy upbeat kids song
Usa needs to seriously start pay attention to students more in school to prevent stuff like this or change the second admenment, which they never will so.

This makes no sense, at all.
Im in my early 20s so to know that this was the first time it was a community i was familiar with personally, it hurt.
this is especially sad cause the police just stood there for like 40 mins.
77 minutes actually.

Yk the topic is VERY serious when he starts talking in his real voice and when he stops joking around😭 i respect you for that, i rlly do!
When I heard his serious voice, I knew this was more serious, school shootings are horrible, but his voice made it set in even more
The twisted thing is that my Dad had graduated Tech 3 years before, he stayed in Pritchard Hall for his freshman year.
My thoughts exactly
i don't know how to explain this, but i feel like his video is...kinda disrespectful?

Maybe if people stopped bullying kids this shit wouldn’t happen
These guys were all cowards. You choose to take the lives of many people just because YOU were unhappy with something. Rest in Piece to all of the poor souls that were just trying to get through the day
okay i get bullying and stuff when it comes to highschool and middleschool, but who the hell has beef with elementary schoolers
they are literal babies that’s so f’d up
most of the shooters had mental disorders and didnt get bullied
Sometimes I'm scared that I'll go to school and something like this will happen. And no one would ever be able to predict it.

It’d be a different story if a shooter got close enough to me though. Remember that one girl in Brazil who stopped a shooter herself.
He’s forgetting about another one of the worst, Uvalde
This is why other countries frown upon legalising guns
They don’t have gun rights ensured in their constitutions so there is nothing stopping their governments from enslaving their citizens.

The fact that these all happened in America speaks volumes
Perm State University is in Russia
The fact that politicians only keep using school shootings as an opportunity to speak rhetoric about disarming us instead of actually fortifying schools or detecting psychopaths whenever they can, or fail to actually stop bullying, speaks even more. And if you ironically believe the first part, you’d be part of the problem.
"these all" he quite literally said Perm State happened in Russia
Four kids where arrested, because two had guns, one kid brutally attacked his victim after school, and one kid AT MY SCHOOL was arrested and we still don’t know why
I can’t tell you how sickening my classmates cries were. I had to go to the bathroom and just pray and throw up multiple times.
We are lucky that no one got hurt, but may the gods save all victims, and rest in peace to those who fell
What's with these people and Taking there mental issues or anger out on kids who have no idea who you are or care?
a lot of dumb school shooters believe that they’re “saving” the kids
Land of the psychopath unfortunately. It’s just a unique phenomenon at this point.
Dude. The way I flipped out when they said “December 14th” (I am currently watching this on December 14th)
My cousin quit Santa Fe High School before the shooting happened. If she went to school that day, I would’ve lost her.

18:18 I did a double take when I saw my school on the thumbnail. I was in 5th grade when the shooting happened. I had a friend in cub scouts who lost his sister, and from what I’ve heard, his mother didn’t take it too well. A month ago, a sixth grader was arrested for having a handgun at school (just to clarify, it’s a middle school, I’m in 8th grade).
