This is what i choose as my last meal ever. Fishing in Glacier NP Montana Kelp Chili Crisp: www.barnaclefo... / outdoorcheflife Buy Outdoor Chef Life Merch www.Outdoorchef...
Those enchiladas look so bomb. So glad you enjoyed glacier, Yellowstone, and the grand Tetons. There may not be much un that part of the US but the things that are there are amazingly beautiful
I'm loving how comfortable Jocelyn is getting in front of the camera. It was nice to see her cook a meal, made my mouth water and it looked Delicious, TFS 💕🙏👍
This is probably my second if not first youtube comment I've ever written but I had to take the time to mention how rad ALL your videos are. I've been watching since well before you went full time on UA-cam and I've never stayed so dedicated to a you-tuber ever before. It helps that both cooking, and travel are some of my favorite hobbies but your channel portrays both activities in your own way which is what I love about Outdoor Chef Life. The authenticity the channel embodies and passion for the outdoors is something I'm sure everyone here could agree has influenced them to focus on the simple aspects of life. Your channel grounds me on my Tuesday evenings and I look forward to videos like this every week. Keep up the great work, it doesn't go unnoticed.
Taku takes the biggest bite ever! hahaha I love it! That looks so ridiculously good and I love that we get to see her cook as well! Our little family, (My boyfriend and our 1 year old son), LOVE watching you guys!! Such wholesome people. And I aspire to travel to the places you've shown us. Thank you so much for being you!! :)))
Ok, def going to try those enchiladas out! Got me drooling over here 😂 We obviously need more from Jocelyn if this is the kind of stuff she's throwing down too!
Taku!!!! My wife and I live our lives through you and your amazing adventures. You are the Bob Ross of Nature. We are so happy you and yours are able to enjoy life to what we consider” To the fullest “. Keep the spirit up and have a blast🤘
I don't cook Mexican cuisine as often as I would like to. This video has inspired me to make Enchiladas for Sunday dinner this upcoming weekend. Safe travels Taku & Jocelyn!
Years ago (1968), backpacked from upper Kintla Lake into Waterton Peace park in Canada. What absolutely beautiful country. I am so glad that you are able to enjoy it! Cheers, Rik Spector
I have fished this lake several times. The Yellowstone Cutthroat is a gorgeous fish, especially when they sport that golden cast to their body. Thanks for giving me some great memories.
Jocelin and Taku thank you for this wonderful video. I have made this trip 5 times when i was younger its been 20 plus years since ive been able to travel these long distances due to a horrible back injury. The road you took is one of my favorate trips ever. The elk you saw was awesome this happened to me only it was a grisley bear about 8 or 9 ft tall i got a whole new respect for mother nature. wow those cutthroats were amazing and the enchiladas made my mouth water i think my wife and i are gonna try your recipe tonite. Looking forward to many more of these greay videos,Thanks🙂
That elk was ✨majestic✨ I remember the day my son called me at work because there was a huge deer buck in the parking lot of our apartment complex during the rut. He had just gotten off the school bus. All I could tell him was hide behind other cars until he’s not watching you then 🗣 RUN!!!
hiked and climbed Glacier Park for 35+ years. Hidden Lake was my fortress of solitude. must have visited its shores 70 times or more (twice a year average) i been to every nook and cranny around Hidden, including summiting Bearhat 3 times and accessing floral park beyond the far ridge. Love that place. Moved away in 2021. too many people. too many rude people. loving the Andes in Ecuador in retirement thanks for the video memories.
You can also fill the enchiladas with cotija cheese or Panela cheese. In the north of Mexico it´s very common to make enchiladas that way. And for the salsa we use most of the time dry chiles (chile ancho, chile guajillo). Either option is delicious!!

Made these enchiladas this evening! Absolutely delicious...this is the go-to recipe from now on!
WOW can we say Majestic Vistas!!!!! Your face looked soooo happy when you were about to eat.... thank you for sharing your recipe, easy to follow and looks amazingly tasty!!!
Been watching since this channel was below 5k. The relaxing solitude meditation soft sounds, usually during interludes, I find myself fast forwarding through. This episode, piano... Did the same: FFW
First comment on the channel, but have been following for a long time now. Love the outdoor exploration, fishing/foraging, phenomenal recipes and expert fish cutting skills (so addictive watching T cut up a fish with his mad skills.). My wife and I are both chefs and love the content. Just wanted to say we were inspired by Jocelyn’s recipe here and totally rocked some enchiladas with leftover Turkey (after Canadian thanksgiving). Totally a new favourite - thanks for the recipe!
Taku and Jocelyn love the content there in Montana! @13:00 that mountain that you are fishing in front of looks like a pyramid which I thought was pretty cool. Nonetheless love watching your videos.
Great video you amaze me with the footage you get those mountains in the lakes are awesome all right keep up the great work your videos always entertain me 💯💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I missed out on when my son lived in Montana. I really want to take a trip back there and so he can visit his friends he made and to go to Glacier National Park. Thank you for the recipe. I know what I'm making for dinner on Sunday.
Amazing adventures taku!!! I am absolutely amazed by you an Jocelyn inspiration and need for adventure and healthy foods I have learned a lot in last couple months not just cooking and art in your dishes but the smaller things like how it was harvested, the adventure it took to obtain it!!! Definitely gives it the ooOoOOmami effect!!! That saying has stuck in my head ever since. Just wanted to say thank you,I am grateful for all you do🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Had a similar ginormous elk experience just outside grand canyon nat’l park. Those beast are huge up close…it shocked me as much as it did you. Great content, love the enchiladas…they looked delicious!
Love the preparation. I've never seen enchiladas made that way but I already like it. I agree that oven baked can be far too dry and like the idea of lightly frying the tortillas. Definitely going to give that a shot sometime. Another great video!
What a superb episode. Those enchiladas were beautiful. I have an old food processor that I have never used. Just might have to dust it off. I know it is hard not to raise the rod tip when you get a strike but I think it would be better to just keep the tip down and strip strike when you get a hit. With the rod lower to the water it is easier to get the fly line on the reel and fight the fish on the reel.
I love that we are getting to see Jocelyn cook and see some of her recipes. The way you both talk and interact is so calming to watch. 😍
They are one of the truly awesome couples on UA-cam.
Took the words right out my mouth
A little too calm ...😊
Those enchiladas look so bomb. So glad you enjoyed glacier, Yellowstone, and the grand Tetons. There may not be much un that part of the US but the things that are there are amazingly beautiful
Yes. Where are the babies?
That bull elk was so amazing!! 👏👏
Came here to say this 😂

Jocelyn did such a great job with her cooking tutorial!!! The scenery was an absolute dream!🤩🤩🤩 Good job at not looking the elk in the eyes. 😅😆😂
I truly loved watching Jocelyn cook this meal. I grew up in the southwest so that is my comfort food.
Ok, def going to try those enchiladas out! Got me drooling over here 😂 We obviously need more from Jocelyn if this is the kind of stuff she's throwing down too!
Jocelyn can chef it up too!

Can't beat good fishing and awesome food at a place like that. Good job Taku and Jocelyn!👍
Gorgeous scenery! Seeing the stag strutting up close and personal is a unique experience for sure!
I love some homemade enchiladas 😋
Jocelyn, you are absolutely right about oven enchiladas!! I thought it was just me. Also a lot of people don't cook their sauce down.
Enjoyed the video. Amazing national parks. Nice to see Jocelyn takes on the cooking part. Keep it up.

The hike in the intro was like you two were hiking to Mordor that scenery is like a movie 😮
Good job guys. I don't know why but I really enjoyed this episode. Maybe because it just had a really relaxed vibe all the way through.
As others have said, it was nice to see Jocelyn "featured" more in the videos! Keep it up the both of you!

Marry this woman! Loved this so much and the love between you two.
My mouth is watering just watching the cooking!

Soo funny when Taku says "Let me have a sip of beer" Glug, glug, glug... half gone... discreet burp....
This dude has the life. Glacier is my favorite park visited so far.
It's so hard to not go make a full meal after one of your videos, always make me fat and happy!
thank you for always giving us a great content.
Awesome video Taku and Jocelyn, incredible sights and an amazing meal to top it off! (Plus some awesome trout action!)
Bro that was awesome. The elk was telling everyone to get off his turf...
What beauty, truly an amazing location. I now wish to visit it some time now that I have seen it!
