3:24 The snuggle melted my heart. How do you not just continuously kiss her head there Meshuggah looks SO cuddly and absolutely hilarious in the happy hoodie. That side-on view of her had me chuckling so much I love how snuggly she was when being held, she's a beautiful girl and she's clearly well-bred for a flat-faced breed. Her owners definitely take care of her needs and did the research to adopt her from a reputable breeder I still do hope the breeding standard is adjusted to encourage longer snouts for these beautiful cats. They have such a signature appearance that won't be lost if they're bred with a more pronounced snout and less receded eyes I normally find flat-faces quite ugly and dont understand the appeal, but on Meshuggah I can actually see the form of beauty that type of face is looking for Im used to seeing gunkier eyes and nostrils which normally grosses me out, but she's so clean and healthy. With such a sweet and calm temperament, I can imagine she gets plenty of grooming and care at home to maintain that gorgeous coat, as well as getting a regular professional groom too
Meshuggah is so cute and pretty. 😭❤️❤️ My heart melted. I know a breeder who has Persian cats with faces that don’t look flat. I think it’s a different type of Persian cat with not so flat faces. Which I think is better because having a very flat face is a big problem for these cats.
Its funny how im not even jewish (as far as i know) but in Slovakia Mešuge is also occasionally used to refer to somebody crazy. Also chochmes (not having chochmes) but thats in a sense that you dare to do something that you shouldnt or you have no shame but i guess that one is different in Yiddish.
Oh my, after being put in the rage cage he totally gave you his butt in his protest. I can't believe he was on a sedative and got so angry 😂 I'm sorry you had to experience that but it was so funny. His sister was absolutely adorable. Keep up the cat videos i enjoy them. 🤗
I can totally believe the rage with even being on sedatives. My cat is the same when I take him to the vet. However, he also has an "evacuate all systems" function that I can't seem to figure out how to stop. For this reason, I can't put him in a traditional carrier since he will end up rolling in everything in his desire to escape it. Thankfully its usually only once a year that I have to go through that with him.
Sometimes giving a cat mild sedatives actually lowers their inhibitions and makes them MORE aggressive. Or so I was told when I adopted an "unadoptable" monster. The sedatives were a definite no-go. It took me three veterinarians to find one that could deal with him. Lol.
Mine is a chilled lady but, my god she is THE most territorial fuzzball I've ever owned. Not a single local cat will cross my garden since I've been letting her out on her lead. She's a psychotic murder cloud with other cats.
We had a part Persian that must have been mostly non-Persian. While not an aggressive feline overall, however she became a demon when it came to car travel...all bets were off then. Before we got her we had a male Wirehaired Fox Terrier...and I can't begin to tell you how much "newspaper" training we had to do to keep him from attacking her. But after being trained they were fine...unless he saw a cat outside, then he would revert to his basic mode but never directed at her. Once he spied a cat in our back yard thus he started a ruckus at the sliding glass door and she came to investigate. After seeing what/who the terrier was after...she "attacked" him, which resulted in all four claws hooked into his beard as he swung her back and forth.
my persian is a fluffy sweet girl also but she squirms like crazy when I try to bath her. she never bites or scratches but she will move every ounce of her body without rest. its crazy. yet somehow groomers and vets give her rave reviews and they never have to use the included treats. she only likes her groomings professional I guess 🤷🏽♀
I laughed at your comment "a cat Velcroed to my face". Lovely turn of phrase, but the Rage Cage will be very useful for those clients who *really* don't want to be there. Keep safe!
That comment elicited some painful memories. Bathing my cat many years ago and she went from cute to velcro in a blink of an eye. Once I finished bathing her and could wash off the blood, I realized I needed stitches on my eyelid. A midnight trip to the ER, five hours and three stitches later, I returned home. Needless to say, that was the last time I bathed a cat.
Aww. They're both adorable, but Meshuga (sp?) is so sweet, I just want to give her a cuddle. It makes me really sad to know that her life expectancy is shorter because of breeding.
My Mother was a breeder of Persians back in the 70's and I can tell you that they were not "peked faced" as you see here today. That was the rare exception back then. It was a genetic abnormality that became popular, so many beeder's started to breed specifically for it as it was in demand and they could get more $$ . My Mother didn't ! I always felt it was such a shame for the beautiful Persian to be subjected to this as it shortened their lifespan. My Mother's one cat "Dusty" a Shaded Silver Persian (not Peked Faced) lived to be 22. Our cats were never caged. They were CFA registered and we would enter several of them in the CFA & CFA Cats Shows up and down the east coast. Those were fun times and I have many fond memories and great stories of those days.
I told my friend not to suggest his music videos anymore, bc there was a chance I could miss my animal grooming ones due to the algorithm. He was so confused. Some people just dont understand the joy of Girl With The Dogs.
I bought the Equigroomer for my fluffy Balinese. This is the fourth brush I've bought for her since she has previously not tolerated brushing well, and none of the prior brushes did a good job at getting her fluff out. After seeing you use the Equigroomer a number of times on this channel, I bought it and it is truly a MIRACLE. SO much fluff gone, and she LOVED it! She even rolled over for a belly brush! I would highly recommend the Equigroomer for anyone with a furry friend!
Elizabeth Idle. When I click the link for the Equigroomer, it takes me to a page with Equigroomer BLADES, and not a brush. Do these blades go IN the brush? Or are the blades the item itself? The site doesn’t show a big blue handle

Accidentally ended up with a Persian because a breeder my friend knew was threatening to take the cat to an animal shelter because she couldn't sell her (she was born with an eye defect). I agreed to take her instead and I'm very glad I did. With help from my vet, we were able to somewhat save her eye (though she's partially blind in it), and she has turned out to be a joy. Still can't believe the breeder was just going to dump her off somewhere as she couldn't possibly be any sweeter.
I'm sorry but can I ask how being brought to a shelter is a threat? as someone who's done TNR for years thats such a horrible and ridiculous thing to say.
@@melinoess I wasn't sure if it was a kill or no kill shelter. I wasn't sure if anyone would adopt her with the eye issue. I felt bad she couldn't be sold due to being "imperfect". I know shelters are overburdened / financially strapped as is and she needed costly medical care. That's all I can say on my end. Certainly was not trying to badmouth shelters and the work they do. Sorry you took it that way.
@@melinoess someone breed cats and purposely brought the kitten into the world to sell. When they couldnt sell it, they were going to dump it at a shelter where it could possibly be killed. This is the same thing as someone having a child and not liking a defect so they drop them off at an orphanage. I also use to tnr cats and work with shelters but what the breeder did is wrong. Theres nothing wrong with shelters but people cant abuse systems like that.

Gorgeous cats!! A British shorthair showed up at my door during an ice storm. He had bits of ice stuck in his fur so I invited him inside. He's never left. He also had an obstruction and spent a week in the hospital. He's all better now. The vet said he doesn't have a microchip. No one claimed him. He doesn't like my other cats but I can pick him up when he's tense, hissing, and mad and he never scratches or bites me. He is very affectionate. He's a talker. He's beautiful! I had him neutered and I'm hoping he will get along with the other cats better. I named him Tristan.

Meshugge is just the sweetest, most docile fluff of love. And those big, golden eyes are absolutely gorgeous. Also, a Persian without mats! Has the world come to an end?!?
It always helps to introduce your kittens to bathing and grooming early on (and often) because it makes it alot easier to deal with them later on since they're used to it!
Meshuggah was giving you the Rational Gaze while you brushed her so she wouldn’t Shed while feeling Entrapment. But her Disenchantment was Pitch Black because she secretly wanted to make you Bleed as she thought “Our Rage Won’t Die.” But her fur brushed off By The Ton so now she’s Sane…

Wow, what a gorgeous Persian! Definitely the healthiest and most well-bred Persian I've seen in years. I'm not expert by any means, but I've just come to accept runny eyes and some slight wheezing as a "standard" for Persians - this girl gives me hope for the future of the breed.
The future of the breed should be to go back to only the traditional doll faced persians that are perfectly healthy and look 1000 times more appealing. There is no reason for flat faced persians to exist. It's selfish to keep breeding these mutant cats that struggle to breath and groom just because someone decided they look better that way.
And then there's a Persian that my family had to get rid of because that Beelzebub of a cat chased me around and scratched me all the time when i was a kid. Not like i was beating it with a stick for it to act that way or something. I guess there are exceptions in every breed of cat/dog, lol.

Meshuggah looks SO cuddly and absolutely hilarious in the happy hoodie. That side-on view of her had me chuckling so much
I love how snuggly she was when being held, she's a beautiful girl and she's clearly well-bred for a flat-faced breed. Her owners definitely take care of her needs and did the research to adopt her from a reputable breeder
I still do hope the breeding standard is adjusted to encourage longer snouts for these beautiful cats. They have such a signature appearance that won't be lost if they're bred with a more pronounced snout and less receded eyes
I normally find flat-faces quite ugly and dont understand the appeal, but on Meshuggah I can actually see the form of beauty that type of face is looking for
Im used to seeing gunkier eyes and nostrils which normally grosses me out, but she's so clean and healthy. With such a sweet and calm temperament, I can imagine she gets plenty of grooming and care at home to maintain that gorgeous coat, as well as getting a regular professional groom too
Yes, I have noticed that
Lucky cat!
the hoodie really managed to contain her fur, which I didn't think possible. Sweet girl.
I don't know about that, yet i recognize your expertise and appreciate such coments. So thank you
Meshuggah is so cute and pretty. 😭❤️❤️
My heart melted.
I know a breeder who has Persian cats with faces that don’t look flat. I think it’s a different type of Persian cat with not so flat faces. Which I think is better because having a very flat face is a big problem for these cats.
3:57 I’d have to kiss her right on the nose. How sweet is she?!?!
"No jumping, okay?"
" *kay* "
That interaction was soo cuute~😊
I melted at that 🥲💜
“Persian cats are known for their relaxed, laid back personalities”
Meshuga: 😳👀😳👀😳👀😳
*stares into your soul*
She was registering her into memory so she could murder her later
The misspellings of Meshuggah clearly show who in this comments section knows about the band and who doesn’t.
And steals it
@@viking6917 There's technically several ways to spell that word and the band's version is somewhat less common.
3:26 is so cute you can see how much HD loves being held...or atleast I think! Xx lol
I love it! "The mellow Meshuga." Meshuga is literally "crazy" in Yiddish.
I came here to say this! xD
Meshuggah is also a rad band.
So these names are pretty metal. ❤️
We incorporated the word in Dutch. Mesjokke. There are quite a few Yiddish words that made it into Dutch slang. Probably hundreds.
The kitty was crazy cute.
I love how the calm one is named "crazy."
The Black Persian Cat has Done Very Well.
Oh my, after being put in the rage cage he totally gave you his butt in his protest. I can't believe he was on a sedative and got so angry 😂 I'm sorry you had to experience that but it was so funny. His sister was absolutely adorable. Keep up the cat videos i enjoy them. 🤗
He's running on pure rage lol sedative be damned
@@Ali_D_Katt that's basically cats
I have a feral cat who, even with a sedative was wild when she went to get fixed.
Lol.
Masuga had the "am uncomfortable but this is fine" face!!
I was laughing at the happy hoody part
The Persian cat is so cute. Her eyes make her look like she’s got one whole brain cell bouncing around in there 😂
Would love to have a cat like that :)
When Meshuggah went 👁👄👁, I really felt that.
😂😂😂
Meshuggah is the Hebrew word for crazy
@@andreadejong2715 - First of all, the word is “meshugganah” NOT “Meshuggah.” Second, it’s a Yiddish word NOT Hebrew.
“Persians are known for their relaxed, laidback personalities”
As a 4 time Persian cat owner for my whole life, I laughed
honestly 😭 my Persian makes me worried she'll eat me if I sleep too long
Mine is a chilled lady but, my god she is THE most territorial fuzzball I've ever owned. Not a single local cat will cross my garden since I've been letting her out on her lead. She's a psychotic murder cloud with other cats.
I had a short haired Persian with short legs. She was a cranky little floof ball.
Our Persians both have the personality of a decorative throw pillow. They are the most docile, sweet girls. One even follows me around everywhere. 💕
My Persian was the most gentle soul ever. She didn't mind being pampered. She never bit or scatched me. I loved her til she passed.
I love working with Persians, they're better than working with most dogs!
Now she in hands of the God
my persian is a fluffy sweet girl also but she squirms like crazy when I try to bath her. she never bites or scratches but she will move every ounce of her body without rest. its crazy. yet somehow groomers and vets give her rave reviews and they never have to use the included treats. she only likes her groomings professional I guess 🤷🏽♀
@@CatsAndPokemon Yes, she has expensive tastes.
Yep persians are royalty remember lol
I really like the safety cage. It's safer for you, but also seems less stressful for the cat.
Cats like Meshugga crack me up. She looks like a pillow with eyes and the occasional tongue popping out.
"The number one benefit is that I won't have a cat velcroed to my face."
That is one major benefit.
I laughed so hard at that line. 😂👌
I just pictured the cat being velcroed to her face. No way I could not laugh at that line
Her face is much too pretty to be attacked by a psycho cat.
I won't have a cat 'Hook & Loop Fastenered...', just looking the phrasing up - it's a ridiculous story!
The picture of that black cat and the happy hoodie is one of the most adorable things I've seen in a long time
I agree 😫 that little face
She is so freaking precious.
From the side I thought she was a snail haha! Beautiful cat without a doubt.
Oh my god, I can't! They're sooo CUTE!
I loved the ending. Thor's face said it all - Oh? She doesn't want her treats? I'll gladly take them then! Beautiful kitties.
Thor: "more for me" nom nom
Apparently Thor can be bought.
I laughed at your comment "a cat Velcroed to my face". Lovely turn of phrase, but the Rage Cage will be very useful for those clients who *really* don't want to be there. Keep safe!
Stephen Phillip, that comment about the Velcro made me laugh as well.
That comment was too hilarious.. I immediately visualised a Face Hugger (from movie ALIEN) but in cat form.
@@Vroomchickavroom Cats can really put you in major pain, and the little rascals are VERY fast. They'll have you in the ER in a New York minute.
Aww. They're both adorable, but Meshuga (sp?) is so sweet, I just want to give her a cuddle. It makes me really sad to know that her life expectancy is shorter because of breeding.
my guess is it's spelled meshuggah, after the metal band. or meshugga, which is yiddish for "crazy"
My Mother was a breeder of Persians back in the 70's and I can tell you that they were
not "peked faced" as you see here today. That was the rare exception back then.
It was a genetic abnormality that became popular, so many beeder's started to breed specifically
for it as it was in demand and they could get more $$ . My Mother didn't !
I always felt it was such a shame for the beautiful Persian to be subjected to this as it shortened their lifespan.
My Mother's one cat "Dusty" a Shaded Silver Persian (not Peked Faced) lived to be 22.
Our cats were never caged. They were CFA registered and we would
enter several of them in the CFA & CFA Cats Shows up and down the east coast.
Those were fun times and I have many fond memories and great stories of those days.
I did not there was such a thing as a cat vac cage. It's like for handling hazardous materials, and it seems oddly fitting for these kitties.
Some of this Kitties would definitely qualify as a "hazardous material".
Hazardous materials and cats being groomed are basically the same thing.
I mean, we _are_ talking about a highly strung animal with knives on its feet 😂
Let's all agree that whenever she uploads our days get so much better ❤️
I told my friend not to suggest his music videos anymore, bc there was a chance I could miss my animal grooming ones due to the algorithm. He was so confused. Some people just dont understand the joy of Girl With The Dogs.

Rage Cage looks an amazing thing for a groomer…can see it’s a bonus for grumpy cats 😆
I don't have any friends because they are ashamed of the videos I upload. Are they really that bad, dear late
@@AxxLAfriku yes they are that bad 💩
Bad is an understatement, unfortunately, the internet has allowed utterly ridiculous people, to have a platform.

I'm so happy to hear this Elizabeth!
Elizabeth Idle. When I click the link for the Equigroomer, it takes me to a page with Equigroomer BLADES, and not a brush. Do these blades go IN the brush? Or are the blades the item itself? The site doesn’t show a big blue handle
Wait. That's... basically a glovebox, chemists use them to work with volatile chemicals. Genius! Makes sense to use it to work volatile pets
That's what I was thinking!
I just can’t believe that he was on sedatives.
So what is a fume cabinet then?
@@NyanyiC It's used for manufacturing or making chemotherapy drugs and ensuring worker safety. Safety for Vanessa (girl with the dogs) is important, too.
A cat named messhugah? That's so cool
3:56 that was the cutest fluffiest thing ever😭❤ the way her eyes were closed and turned into the fluffiest thing everr
I thought the same, that was such an adorable shot!!!
Meshuggah's face was just soo adorable. When you first showed her she looks like she's saying "OK Human, I'm ready to be bathed"
Meshuggah is one of the most pleasantly behaved cats I have ever seen.
Especially considering she’s getting a bath
Considering how beautifully well-cared for her coat is, and the fact she didn't have a single mat, I can imagine she gets groomed on the regular at home
Brushed twice a week at the very least, and she clearly loves and enjoys the grooming and attention, and is very used to it
I love that she was able to be towel dried and cuddled and held at 3:23
Such a sweet, gentle cat
Haha!
I love how the sister is called 'crazy' in Hebrew but she's the calmest of the 2
I love how the Persian was just like “ah yes human, pamper me.”
You mean slave LOL
I absolutely adore watching you grooming dogs, but I enjoy the cat grooming appointments even more, because of how funny and derpy they act, hehe.
Yes, I am a dog person but I really enjoy watching the cats with their various expressions.
Yes, me too! Her cat vids are SOOO funny!!
Meshugga is so so gorgeous and so so cute. Those tiny little meows melt my heart.
Isn’t she! Soo sweet!
Thank you SO much for the Equigroomer promotion! I have 2 bunnies that shed like crazy, and my boy is a longer haired rabbit so constant brushing is a must. Just bought an Equigroomer and can't wait to see how they like it!
What's she called? She sounds very cute
@@tallic967 I named her Coconut because she has a round white head. :)
Aww, Meshuggah's face with the chin scratches. Taking care of cats period is a labor of love, really nice to see great owners that go above and beyond 👏
Lmao I love how you turn a cat into an astronaut when they get nasty
My Turkish Angora cross has a pair of "Don't you dare!" booties for when it's brush out time. She doesn't mind baths, drying, etc, but she has a major attitude and likes to lacerate me at random times.
Wouldn't be without her, for all that she is a spicy, spicy meatball sometimes.
The rage cage looks like the type of installation that is used to handle dangerous nuclear materials. Which may or may not be fair comparison to the theatrical Thor. 😂
When I was working on cars, our auto shop had something similar when we were cleaning brake rotors as some of them have asbestos and some of the cleaners for them have carcinogens.
When her head was in that protector I couldn't help but laugh with how her face was squished. It was adorable and hilarious at the same time.
It's so fun to see you work with these animals.
Our little British blue doesn’t like other cats or the outdoors but would rather just hang out inside with her hoomans all day ❤️
Who binge watches a groomer? I do and love how you narrate everything! You’re just awesome! You’re extremely talented!!! Wish my hairdresser was half as good😂
3:45 - It’s like she doesn’t have a face anymore 😂
2:54 aww the little meow already melts my heart, and totally show how different sugar is from Thor lol
4:54 that is the happiest cat i have ever seen
Meshuggah was giving you the Rational Gaze while you brushed her so she wouldn’t Shed while feeling Entrapment. But her Disenchantment was Pitch Black because she secretly wanted to make you Bleed as she thought “Our Rage Won’t Die.” But her fur brushed off By The Ton so now she’s Sane…

Springtime and shedding season is so hard! It's clear these cats are incredibly well-loved and cared for. Just beautiful. Their owner has much to be proud of with their kitties.
The owner could be even more proud of not encouraging the cruelty of breeding animals that cannot breathe properly.
I know that grooming cats must be quite difficult, but I love watching your cat grooming videos. They always act like you're committing war crimes against them by bathing them 🤣
2:34 - “Wut? Why is this lady feeding a cat churros? Oh, she means churu…”

Meshugar is the cutest Persian cat I've ever seen. That expression is so funny, too
Wow, what a gorgeous Persian! Definitely the healthiest and most well-bred Persian I've seen in years. I'm not expert by any means, but I've just come to accept runny eyes and some slight wheezing as a "standard" for Persians - this girl gives me hope for the future of the breed.
Hope for a breed that is deliberately bred so that they can hardly breathe and groom so they look "cute"? Hmmm.
The future of the breed should be to go back to only the traditional doll faced persians that are perfectly healthy and look 1000 times more appealing. There is no reason for flat faced persians to exist. It's selfish to keep breeding these mutant cats that struggle to breath and groom just because someone decided they look better that way.
groomers are incredible. i'm a vet assistant and i cannot imagine having to do so much by myself
But thor is the god of thunder no he is the god of mischief

"Persian cats are known for their relaxed and laid-back personalities." And then there's Mayonnaise.
And then there's a Persian that my family had to get rid of because that Beelzebub of a cat chased me around and scratched me all the time when i was a kid. Not like i was beating it with a stick for it to act that way or something. I guess there are exceptions in every breed of cat/dog, lol.
