Thanks so much for finally getting together! This was legitimately my favourite podcast so far! Absolutely, at this point, if you got all the best and most popular golf youtubers together for an event, you would break the internet and would also get a ridiculous live crowd at the venue. Please, please, PLEASE, get this moving! UA-cam majors should be a thing. 4 events a year. There are easily enough good golf youtubers that you could fill an event and make it amazing!

I remember when Good Good started climbing in popularity everyone wanted to see a match between Rick and the boys for bragging rights. Now it feels like it was more about mutual respect and admiration for what each group is bringing to the table. Well Done, there is plenty of room at the table for everyone.

Greatest Podcast ever!! Guy hit the nail on the head with the viewers really getting invested with who the people are. I remember stumbling on Garrett's story of how things started and how is dad told him if he could make $60 grand in so many months he would support him and when it happened in only a couple of months his dad was blown away. Right then and there I tried to find out as much as I could about all the Good Good guys. I have never been this invested in a group as much as these guys. Keep up the great work Rick.. Let's get a UA-cam open.. It would break the internet..

I just love what these guys are doing for the game. Golf can be pretty stiff sometimes. These lads are showing that it doesn't have to be all pomp and proper. They're a bunch of pals out there having a time, enjoying the game, and drumming up some laughs. And they're some great golfers to boot! They've not only helped me become a better golfer, but they've helped me remember how to enjoy and appreciate golf more often. Hats off to both channels - can't wait to see the collab content!
Believe or not, but I've never heard of Good Good before this. Watched 2 video's now and subscribed immediately. The quality of their videos is next level. Those guys are gonna change golf. Young people are gonna relate to this much more then the slow PGA tour coverage. I've got A LOT of hours to catch up!
You nailed it. I have watched PGA golf since the age of 12 and always enjoyed it BUT, it has always been painfully slow and the coverage insanely mundane. Good Good takes the Tiger-esque energy that golf is missing and injects it into their unique style and brand. Good Good will absolutely bring an entire audience to golf that would have likely never considered it an interest. Listening to the guys talk about how they were not even interested in golf until what is considered "late" should relate to a large population of young people and will hopefully be cause for at least a look at the game.
For all the messed up things about technology and social media, this is a win. Just a collab between two groups of people from two different parts of the world with the sole purpose of golf and growing the game of golf. Thanks for sharing!

One of Guy's last questions about UA-cam golfers being more popular/media centric than PGA pros really made me think. I genuinely prefer watching golf on both of your channels (and sub channels) to watching the tour. It's how I like consuming this sport. Both groups tend to break down thoughts, bring a huge positive energy, and getting to hear the fun banter among friends really makes this game so much more appealing! I have never had the thought 'I wish I could play a round of golf with you' about a pro, but I've thought that with almost every video released by Rick and GG. GG would push me to improve with competition, where Rick would help me improve with fundamentals. Truly phenomenal content from all of you! Thank you to the faces of each channel, but HUGE thanks to everyone we don't get to see. Camera-people, editors, family, and friends! You all make these channels shine!! Keep up the hard work.

This collaboration is what I have been waiting for since I started following Rick and Good Good a few years ago. It's amazing to see the evolution in professionalism that both crews have had just in 2-3 years. Good Good videos always excite me because I know that in any video they release, literally anything could happen. With Rick, I started following his content because I really appreciated how good of an on camera coach and club reviewer he is. I've become very passionate about his actual game as well through the Break 75 series which is probably my favorite series to watch on UA-cam at the moment. I noticed that there was some talk during this podcast about the possibility of more collaboration between different channels and also some talk about whether or not UA-cam golf can become as notorious as the PGA or LIV for example. As a design professional, golf enthusiast, and avid consumer of any golf content I can find, I think it is time to genuinely join forces and organize a UA-cam Golf Tour. My idea is to break it into two tiers: a handicap based competition for golf content creators that are not scratch golfers and a straight up competition for the golf pro's and other scratch golfers. I think if we want to see UA-cam Golf go to the next level rather than it being a succession of inspirational stories like how Rick inspired Garrett, it should have an element of worldwide competition. I think it would be in UA-cam's best interest to get behind an idea like that and help build a sponsorship base. There are content creators in other parts of the world that perhaps don't get as much attention as they deserve and something like this could definitely help. Perhaps a set of invitational tournaments with events in the UK and the US to get things started but then expand it to regular events organized annually in places like Dubaï, Morocco, Sweden, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Australia... I mean think of the potential for something like this to become bigger than any professional competition out there just based on the mere fact that people connect with content creators on a more personal level. I intend to start my own channel and to pursue this idea but I know that it will take effort, buy-in, and coordination from the entire UA-cam golf planet to make it come true! I know that there are other UA-cam golf content creators advocating for something similar as well so I know I'm not the only one preaching this. I wish some of the more popular channels would seriously discuss it and consider perhaps as a podcast topic. Peace out folks, keep bringing the great content and let's start the UA-cam Golf Tour!!!

In answer to Guy: We watch Good-Good and all the guys, Rick, Peter Finch etc almost every night (me and my kids) hardly watch any other TV at this point. Nice to just watch some good golf content on demand. No special subscriptions etc.. It has become our go to for family entertainment. Also - no political BS, just a relaxing way to unwind in the evening. Keep the innovation and content coming.

I'm in Southern California, near Los Angeles. It's 4am PST. I'm out walking my dog and watching this Epic (Mega to those in the UK) video on my Phone. This is one huge aspect that makes y'all more appealing to me than anything from the Pros. You're real, accessible, and just all around good people. Obviously I'm here because of Mr. Shiels and the greatest co-host a man can ask for, Mr. Charnock, but I also follow the Good Good. What an Banger collab y'all! I use to play a lot of sports but I'm 51 now and the body doesn't work like it use too. I got into golf with my dad 10 years ago and I stopped playing because he passed away. But I started watching the Good Good kids and you Rick and it made me fall in love with the game and I want to thank you guys for what you do! Keep grinding!

I absolutely love watching both channels and I have never even played a round of golf. I got a set of off brand clubs off a job about 2 months ago and started trying to learn the basics of golf by searching and watching UA-cam before I went out there and made a fool of myself. Since then I have binge watched almost every video on both channels. So entertaining! Keep it up! I'm looking forward to my first round of golf in the near future!

Having been born and raised in New Jersey, I have to say I'm amazed that Garrett and Grant weren't familiar with sausage rolls. We have those as well as pepperoni rolls and various stromboli at nearly every pizzeria. They are quite delicious! Great collab, can't wait to see all of the content in the coming weeks.

As a design professional, golf enthusiast, and avid consumer of any golf content I can find, I think it is time to genuinely join forces and organize a UA-cam Golf Tour. My idea is to break it into two tiers: a handicap based competition for golf content creators that are not scratch golfers and a straight up competition for the golf pro's and other scratch golfers. I think if we want to see UA-cam Golf go to the next level rather than it being a succession of inspirational stories like how Rick inspired Garrett, it should have an element of worldwide competition. I think it would be in UA-cam's best interest to get behind an idea like that and help build a sponsorship base. There are content creators in other parts of the world that perhaps don't get as much attention as they deserve and something like this could definitely help. Perhaps a set of invitational tournaments with events in the UK and the US to get things started but then expand it to regular events organized annually in places like Dubaï, Morocco, Sweden, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Australia... I mean think of the potential for something like this to become bigger than any professional competition out there just based on the mere fact that people connect with content creators on a more personal level. I intend to start my own channel and to pursue this idea but I know that it will take effort, buy-in, and coordination from the entire UA-cam golf planet to make it come true! I know that there are other UA-cam golf content creators advocating for something similar as well so I know I'm not the only one preaching this. I wish some of the more popular channels would seriously discuss it and consider perhaps as a podcast topic. Peace out folks, keep bringing the great content and let's start the UA-cam Golf Tour!!!

It's been a long time since I have ever looked forward to something as much as I have this Collab. If I have ever looked forward to something else this much.
In answer to Guy: We watch Good-Good and all the guys, Rick, Peter Finch etc almost every night (me and my kids) hardly watch any other TV at this point. Nice to just watch some good golf content on demand. No special subscriptions etc.. It has become our go to for family entertainment. Also - no political BS, just a relaxing way to unwind in the evening. Keep the innovation and content coming.

This was well worth the watch. I enjoyed the discussion about the “draw” of UA-cam golf. I personally don’t golf but have been watching Rick & Good Good for years… solely because the content is fantastic and you present as engaging “characters.” Awesome stuff! All the best to everyone involved!

I use to play a lot of sports but I'm 51 now and the body doesn't work like it use too. I got into golf with my dad 10 years ago and I stopped playing because he passed away. But I started watching the Good Good kids and you Rick and it made me fall in love with the game and I want to thank you guys for what you do! Keep grinding!

I so much enjoy Good Good Guys & Rick/Guy. Rick teaching vids have helped this old guy so much. Good Good some teaching but also the comradery is so enjoyable. (I'm 73 years old.)

@@bbandy8705 it’s at the very end of the video they talk about it, but most of their clubs got lost or misplaced on the way over so he couldn’t get his hands on the putters.
I absolutely love watching both channels and I have never even played a round of golf. I got a set of off brand clubs off a job about 2 months ago and started trying to learn the basics of golf by searching and watching UA-cam before I went out there and made a fool of myself. Since then I have binge watched almost every video on both channels. So entertaining! Keep it up! I'm looking forward to my first round of golf in the near future!

Having been born and raised in New Jersey, I have to say I'm amazed that Garrett and Grant weren't familiar with sausage rolls. We have those as well as pepperoni rolls and various stromboli at nearly every pizzeria. They are quite delicious! Great collab, can't wait to see all of the content in the coming weeks.

I commented on another UK youtube channel about flap Jack's and a UK subscriber responded to me with so much excitement about these snacks. We don't have these here but look forward to trying them if I make it to UK. I agree Chicago hot stand was my first stop visiting there. Great street food.
