Rumour I have heard...the studio change wants to do a full on revival of the series and use there animations to remake the series...not a remaster, a remake.
Set lower expectations bro. Don't be like me who expected top animation quality for cour 2 only to be disappointed. Yeah sure a potential staff change is possible and may improve the production overall, but let's not expect too high

Exactly. Sure Jjk season 2 had great animation but it was inferior to the manga imo. Even sukuna Vs mahoraga was more action driven to the point yujis breakdown scene was and is underwhelming.
Great animation is just a bonus to me I'd much rather have a better fleshed out story & characters than pretty pictures any day

What u said about hisagi vs findor was on point. In the manga the fight wasn’t anything special but the anime went above and beyond is the main reason why hisagi is one of the most popular characters in bleach. With the amazing character writing from kubo to top it off with the amazing animation and choreography. Chefs kiss there’s a reason fights like Yama vs ywhach and ichigo vs ywhach jjk shibuya, demon slayer tengen vs gyutaro,mha deku vs overhaul most of the fights in wano,frieren,solo leveling etc. are talke about idk why tybw stans claim animation is not important for a battle shounen especially for a series like bleach. It had great animation in the og anime. Is it too much to ask for high quality animation from a establish franchise. If bleach had consistent animation it would be talked about a lot more in the anime community.
Yes it's hard when the studio doesn't gave material from the manga to rely on. You xant storyboard what the author hasn't included therefore with kubo introducing new story elements they had to storyboard last minute ...
Im pretty sure bleach fans do not say that animation isnt important, im sure they say just because your show isnt a sakuga fest doesnt mean is trash and you proving thats all you care about, that hisagi fight isnt even the best in original bleach and you claim is some kind of masterpiece? The pacing was bad thats why many people disliked the original anime, i can name you 3 fights better than that from the tybw and original anime, and the new anime in case you dont know is helping the story thats the difference.
@@lolsnez7542 u obviously a blind fanboy and I never claimed hisagi vs findor is a masterpiece I’m talking about how a anime adaptation elevated a ok fight in the manga to make it one of the best animated fights in the series it was great in terms of giving hisagi characterization and complement it with amazing visuals. Animation helps a series reach popularity weather u want to admit it or not demon slayer jjk are prime examples of this tybw hasn’t made a waves like them cause they haven’t had any high peak eps like ep 6 and 7. Also a bunch of tybw Stans do say animation isn’t important u can literally scroll down see a couple of them

TBH Yama vs Royd is overrated. It had insane effects and character animation, but the choreography was brief, there is a huge difference even between that like 20 second Ichigo vs Yhwach moment to the entirety of the Yama fight, that honestly deserved more choreography. It’s well animated, but for me, it was kind of a letdown. At least it wasn’t totally ruined potential wise like every other fight has been. The only fights that have been actually elevated are Ichigo vs Yhwach and Yama vs Royd.
I’m a huge Bleach fan and waiting for TYBW to be animated was a dream come true, but C2 fights were rushed. Some of the fights that I’ve been waiting for so long went WAY!.. to fast.

1.)The first thing bleach needs to change is its detailed design.
Why? Cause it hinders freedom for so many things in animation. The fullbring arc type design would be better suited cause an on point less detailed character is easier in comparison to an on point heavy detailed design.
2.) The compositing (visuals) need changes too. Why? Cause in order to have demon slayer quality ufotable uses visuals as main attraction. Studio peirrot need to step up there game in this department by reducing particle effect and focus on quality visuals.
3.) Cgi is also a thing which is mixed bag in bleach tybw. Like hollow in ep 1 of cour 1 looked good but komamura bankai was mixed bag and shinji's bankai was average could've been better. If they need demon slayer or jjk level stuff they need to step ho here too.
Hope they make things like this better so bleach can have much larger popularity.

Question why they need to change that when the anime so far has been proving you that can have that and still be great?
you do know when they have a top animator involved they ignore this and follow through with their own stuff (mask scene had insane sakuga for its small window of time and followed through on the style). The lighting work well in scenes like the Yhwach and Aizen talking which gave neon genesis vibe because of the saturated color scheme and how well drawn it was (looked like something made in the 90s taken in to modern times). So there is a lot creative ways that you can do with the design.

They literally have a golden chance to milk bleach as one of there greatest work but they are trying to fck it up. Kubo additions carried cour 2 as simple as that. This cour didn't have animation near yamamoto vs yhwach. Look ppl remember how insane that fight was cause of animation and its stunning visuals.
Even cgi was very well done in that episode but in cour 2 it was average or mixed bag like komamura's bankai was a mixed bag ( it didn't blended that well with background and should have loved much more to be better cgi) and shinii's bankai was average cgi.
Don't understand why people don't like cour 2. It was great. I feel people are being whiny and nitpicking over non issues and even making shit up

The fight adaptations were terrible. I was incredibly disappointed, even the new 0 squad fights were so underwhelming. This whole adaptation barely ever reaches OG Bleach anime peaks and the OG had a ton of flaws.
So many of the fights I waited for and was hyped for were rushed through and stiff.

If I was to hazard a guess, the upgrade to 'Chief Director' is in regards to Pierro's new division as a whole. So, Taguchi is sort of an overseer for the whole thing while others will be focusing specifically on Bleach.
I very well could be wrong, but that's what it seems like to me.
Yeah, the whole argument that has surfaced over the last few months that "TYBW NEEDS those story additions above all else, even if that means it's not getting great animation" is straight up dumb and imo it may even have been pushed by certain long time TYBW manga haters. And quite frankly, it's copium used to dismiss any and all criticism of the anime adaptation.
It's pure revisionism. I'm sorry, but even though TYBW clearly has its problems (as most story arcs do), it's not so bad a story, so damn poorly written, that it "NEEDS" story additions/modifications above all else and at all cost. By itself, the TYBW in the manga is still a damn great arc and a lot of people are starting to forget that.
If given a choice between an adaptation like JJK s2/Frieren, etc. with no major story changes, over what TYBW has been doing, 9/10 takes i'll take the former. I definitely appreciate some of the story changes a lot, specially the part concerning the Squad Zero and seeing Senjumaru's bankai, but if those are the 2 options, i'm still choosing the animation, 'cause at least I'd have the amazing Ichibe vs Yhwach fight i've been waiting to see FOR YEARS and not having ended up so damn disappointed in how that fight was adapted. Again, Senjumaru's bankai was cool and surprising, but it wasn't enough to make up for how Ichibe vs Yhwach got done dirty. Seeing the rest of the Zero Squad actually carrying their own weight was another positive on the storytelling side, but most of that extra anime original action was kinda unninteresting, save for a few bits like Senjumaru vs Uryu and Kirinji vs Jugram.
ALSO, it's not like every single change TYBW does is a positive one either... they've occasionally also dropped the ball in terms of pacing and cutting content out, which made fights like Renji vs Mask and specially Kenny vs Gremmy suffer - and some would argue having Unohana vs Kenny split into 2 eps was also not the greatest move, as well as cutting out the Royd explanation from Yama vs Fake Yhwach, which made every single anime only watcher confused. Granted this mostly happened due to the 52 ep limit placed in the series, but the end product is how it is.
And then, MOST IMPORTANTLY, in reality 1 thing doesn't invalidate the other. Getting better animation isn't something that could stand in the way of getting more story additions/changes or viseversa. This shouldn't be an "either or" choice... as a lot of people have been framing it as... it's more than possible to get both or to get neither, depends on the staff.
1. When TYBW anime was announced, I didn't think story changes would be made so I wanted animation to pop off. However, I was not too impressed starting ep2 then I had a sour taste in my mouth when they did a recap in ep4. At that point i gave up on animation but when they showed chojiros fully utilized bankai in the flashback I knew story changes are imminent elsewhere so I started looking forward weekly to what possible additions they could be adding. Thus, story changes became my new priority and I no longer cared about animation much. Also ost became a second priority for me considering ep7 was phenomenal with the og gotei13 opening sequence and ost, as well as ichigo vs ywach later in the episode which also had phenomenal ost and even the animation was crazy.
2. I completely agree with unohana and Kenny fight, it should have been one episode and also I didn't like how they delivered the final blow by a weird transition instead of showing it.
3 the blade is me had a lack of impact especially the zangetsu reveal (which I was looking forwarding to the most) especially they didn't play nothing can be explained, which was literally THE OST that was meant for this moment! But ichigo pulling the swords out was pretty hype ngl. It had good impact and the fire looked cool.
4. I was not too impressed with the first half of cour2, ep2 had terrible transitions and also shinjis bankai had that hype ost and cool animation until they used a still image to show tje impact which pissed me off and then ep4 komamuras fight (I wish they extended it a bit like have him lunge at ywach and then gerard block it or something). HOWEVER, I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with renji vs mask fight and I have to disagree with you, this fight was one of the best of cour2 that even some people who disliked mask back in the day actually liked him and his name was even trending on twitter more than 100k+ tweets. The additional stuff they cut from the manga was very lame panels so they did right to cut them to keep tje tone serious. Those panels were one of the reasons that manga readers were so tired of mask afterall.
5. Then the 2nd half of cour2 starting with rukias fight was amazing. Kenny vs gremmy was also animated well so I kinda disagree with you, however I do wish they included the meteor reactions
6. Ichigo getsuga jujishisho was very hype especially the ost which is top5 ost right now, I keep playing it almost daily. They did the right choice to replay this ost for nimaya oetsu in 2nd to last episodes. The sklaverei transformations was also a nice story addition and very creative movesets, I ended up liking meninas a lot after that fight. This also gave me hope that kubo is cooking something for squad0. And I was not disappointed!
7. I didn't care about the zombie episodes but I can't blame them, that wasn't really interesting in the manga yet if they cut it out people would have complained, I'll just say I encouraged anime only people to skip the zombie episodes, but I do have to say i was upset they had very good animation for these two episodes instead of dedicating it to more worthy episodes at the beginning of the cour...
8. Then the legendary 3rd to last episode of cour2 aired amd it was PHENOMENAL. Seriously one of the best bleach episodes, probably top5. Just look at all anime only reactions, everyone's blood was pumping put of pure hype following nimayas display. And for mamga readers we got the treat of that legendary unexpected meeting between ichibei and ywach.
9. The last two episodes was a blast. You're complaining about ichibei vs ywach when the battle is not even over dude...ichibei didn't even perfom his best moveset yet: the shrine technique. I'm glad they postponed it to cour3 so it can get the attention it SHOULD get just like senjumaru shocking bankai got.
Squad0 was literally the top3 most disappointing things about tybe arc and I was HOPING but was not expecting we would e treated immensely to the point that kubo REDEEMED them COMPLETELY! Just look at king of lightning reaction, his video literally says it all: SQUAD 0 REDEEMED!! And he was a huge critic of this back in the day
So imo cour2 was more amazing than cour1 given the last 3 episodes and also the much better usage of ost compared to cour1😮

TYBW manga arc is the clear worst arc in the series and only one that is bad. I don't agree at all.
Honestly even back then TYBW was my fave arc purely cause I love the concepts there. But tbh the addition to the story is kinda necessary for things to make sense. A straight adaptation of tybw would be a fucking mess of plot holes that quite frankly, I genuinely rather not watch
Animation is an only a short term thing in 10 years when animation is even better than it is now people are going to care about the actual story more than how it looks. Shows like Tokyo Ghoul and Soul Eater look amazing for their time but people don’t want to watch them because they’re told that the story isn’t that good (at least in the anime) It’s just a recent thing to consider 10/10 consistent animation as something to expect out of a show and most people prefer good stories and characters rather then it looking pretty
On a serious note bleach does need incredible animation like kaido vs g5 luffy ep 1074. I like ichibei vs yhwach battle but it didn't have that much impact which yamamoto vs yhwach had. What bleach need is to get more talent by having major changes in staff and production.
If the changes right now is good for bleach than it was worth waiting for cour 3 for a year. Hope they don't disappoint and get much better.

I’m sorry, but I personally value the story over the animation, as well as the visual appeal over the amount of “movement”. Good animation, which WAS present in these first two cours, even if not as much as or on the level we would like, is a bonus that can sometimes help enhance the content.
I’m not saying they shouldn’t focus on the animation much or at all, but I just disagree on the notion that they should sacrifice all the improvements to the story for it.

pierrot needs to start pumping out amazing animation because this aint the early 2000s they are being left behind
A re-structuring period for ANY company, especially an animation studio can be hit-or-miss but I have faith that Pierott will handle one of their most valuable IP correctly. I wonder if we will see the fruits of this shuffling this cour or if it will end up being cour 4, which likely will end up being THE most important cour in the TYBW production.
As far as animation vs story beats, I would still choose story beats any day as a bleach fan, but we deserve both having had to wait so long for this series return. I have no doubt that kubo will continue to give us new material (as has been hinted at recently for cour 3), its just a matter of the production quality which they know they must get right to compete with stuff like JJK and demon slayer etc.

Delays can be ambiguous. My worry was iirc they switched studios for cour 3. After 2 great TYBW seasons. I hate it when people try to fix something that isn’t broken. I’m so looking forward to the Royal Guard fights…

The main reason why Bleach is lacking a bit on the animation side has nothing to do with Taguchi lack of envolvement or connections it´s simply the factor of TIME.
Talent and time are the 2 keys factors in producing quality anime and Bleach does have the talent it just never had the time, 10 months of production for cour 1 is enough cause there weren´t that many figths but for Cour 2 with a figth in basicly everysingle episode besides EP1 the 8 months of production it had just ain´t enough.
Look at JJK they had 1 year of production and than had a break of multiple months before the Shibuya Incident started and they still had a ton of problems when it came to finishing things on time
If Bleach simply had longer breaks between Cours this would have never been a problem cause the problem does not come from Taguchi´s lack of connections or ability to draw talent, even the best animators in the world can´t do their job properly when working under such time restraints
Look at Cour 3, they were already on production phase before Cour 2 ended and we already know it ain´t going to be Summer reason it´s either fall or even winter season so it´s more than 1 year of prodution which is really good for 13 EPs
Time is the only thing Bleach has lacked nothing else, you have talent and you have organization on a very high level already
Frieren had 2 years production on 28 episodes, that is a lot of time. If Bleach gets 1 year for 13 episodes in cour 3 then we will notice big changes in quality, even wakabayashi was barely utilized in cour 2.

The fact Bleach came out with that quality when the time for production was only 10 months / 8 months truly shows how talented the staff is

@@yahyawihamza4064bro JJK s2 1-5ep were solid episodes that alone beat tybw cour 2. Look I love Bleach and tybw looks beautiful in some instances but the animation and sequences were found lacking. Like even in JJK Geto vs Toji they added a fair amount of _new_ scenes that were really good but Bleach? Sure we got a bit of new in Squad 0 frames but it wasnt anything like JJK choreography, animation and emotion to it. Like it could have been so much better. Both them could have but unlike Bleach, JJK was struggling just to present yet still managed to make key animations with alot of emotion expression movement etc it makes me think of the whole Sukuna vs Mahoraga animation, they went back for blu ray and added even more movement, its crazy. But what I hate the most is how much Support Bleach never gets, its been a series that has always struggled with that from Naruto to OP to now with other big titles like MHA JJK etc. People just like to kick Bleach in the mudd and want it fail. Sigh.

. JJK2 its no only episodes from 1-6, The rest of the animation of that season is extremely inconsistent and done in a hurry because MAPPA loves to exploit their workers with insane deadlines. In comparison TYBW2 its wayyyyy more consistent.

Ever since I seen the first pilot episode of bleach in 2006 I fell in love with it
It's sorta funny to look back on how the conversation has evolved since cour 1's release. And listen, I like cour 1. I like it a lot. But it just proves that the people who unconditionally praised TYBW's production as something extraordinary back then were mislead by Bleach's grand comeback and also just kinda needed to watch more anime.
You had so many people arguing against animation being an essential component of an animated show just to cope with the show's visual issues, and yet it's not much fun to be vindicated by this change of heart because I'd still just like TYBW to be better.
I agree I was definitely one of those fans being hyped about the return of tybw so I didn’t notice the visual flaws in it but I realized after my hype died down and decided to rewatch it and take my fanboy glasses off I realized tybw isn’t as great as it could be

I understand your take but this is Kubo we are talking about he is a contrarian he’d rather make the TYBW anime have his additions that he always wanted to add then the insane battle action even though that would make the series more popular
I hope they dont change the art style/character designs. I love the detail and the dark and gritty feeling I get from it. For example the “save the soul society ichigo” scene. Bro looked like he was really about to crash out😂. But if they do in the end I’ll still watch Bleach regardless.
I was in a band...and my style clashed a bit. I love having bossa nova beats in a hard rock. Having some jazz links In breakdowns etc.
And I told them over and over " TELL ME,if you want it changed " and so I know how it is to be passionate and wanting feedback to then

Hoping for the best, BLEACH deserves nothing but the best of treatments.
I was never a fan of Taguchi's direction so I hope we have somebody else come in who can give BLEACH a different tone and overall better art direction (in my opinion).
Plus I hope we get rid of all censorship, art should be free to express itself in all forms.
I can't wait for the upcoming cours, I expect great things from the rest of this adaptation, especially in the animation department.
Here's the thing, i think people are expecting too much. One thing to keep in mind is that Bleach main fight are always getting nice treatment. And by Main I mean those involving protagonist and antagonist; Ichigo, Yhwach, and Aizen. Everyone elso, popular or not, are still side characters. Cour 2 doesn't have much of that except maybe Squad Zero battle and that's why it's amazing. The scenes that you were comparing eg mahoraga and Luffy Kaido also involves their main character that's why it's amazing
Also, having Kubo choose up and coming artists is cute and all but a producer's job is to get eyes on the license they're working on and to make money..one of the easiest ways to do that is to contact a big artist to do your opening (lots of people got into anime because they'd heard Kick Back, Kakai Kitan or Gurenge). And since bleach is aniplex they basically can get any bug name they'd want..
I mean they have the legendary Sawano hiroyuki doing the "end" arranges with Sennarin which has always nailed it so far. Cour 1 had Tatsuya Kitani (did op 1 on jjk s2) doing the OP and end credit of episode 1 (End credit was really good). The only bad or not that compelling is the song STARS by w.o.d doing the op in cour 2, the Endroll by Yoh Kamiyama is really good and beats a lot of outro songs that year of anime and was honestly underrated. However I agree they should try push for something really spectacular and memorable, although we probably know what op 1 of cour 3 is going to be and its better than what we have got so far.
We need a bleach remake
Bleach needs someone like Tatsuya Yoshihara that can bring top tier action animators frfr
I mean we do have Atsushi Wakabayashi, he has connection to legendary animators like Norio Matsumoto and we already have Hiroyuki Yamashita who have worked on Naruto in the past. They just need more time on the episodes, keep in mind cour 2 was made in 7 months and cour 3 is moving in to almost double the length of that project schedule (12 months by the end of september). We are definetly going to see a lot of improvements, it depends just how much and ofcourse new animators and director roles would help too.
Usually Chief director position serves as a supervisor but is of course less involved then the series director.
From examples of other shows this change usually has happened because the series director is busy, Yoshihara left the position of SD of Black Clover because CSM had started pre-production. He was the "action director" of the show so of course he had to be involved even before actual production began, while also handling two entire episodes plus working on the pre-animated PV. The CSM staff was revealed (alongside the preanimated PV) like 6 or 7 months after Yoshihara left his role as BC's director.
I **believe** Taguchi has too much on his hands and so somebody else is required to the SD job. I remember an interview were he talks about AI scripting he mentions he has yet another project in development for example. Just my opinion and ofc the change is not confirmed yet lol

ima be honest depending on what additions are made to the anime i would actually prefer having less good animation in exchange for that. But the changes so far are not close to enough. If i was going to make that choice they would have to do way more. I'm talking even random stuff like bringing back the final getsuga tensho in the final battle but he doesn't lose his powers obviously. Stuff like that, on top of added story and lore. That's probably never happening so might as well go with the better animation.
I don't think demon slayer season 3 or 4 had any particularly incredible animation on the level of uzui vs gyutaro that broke the internet but from the bits i've seen the scenery is still unmatched in anything. Bleach cour 1 had great background art but only still images. For the fights you need that moveable 3D CG environment. I believe the icy buildings were CG and they looked good but its not like the animation warranted them being 3D
On that note demon slayer animation is definitely what they should aim for over jujutsu kaisen animation. Demon slayer is basically bleach TYBW but perfected. The choreography isn't as insane as JJK but they always maintain the artistic fidelity, quality of still frames and keeping characters on model just like bleach is supposed to. I prefer the look of uzui vs gyutaro to any fight in JJK and clearly japan does too since demon slayer got over double the sales JJK did when they blew up.
Anyway we don't even have any confirmation anything has changed for taguchi we are going off some google translate junk. Totally possible nothing has changed in the management.

@WeyardWiz sure but that's the issue with most of bleachs fights. Much of it is ability based so either the animation has to be extremely fluid OR the animation team needs enough episodes to animate extra scenes of choreography into the fight to make it slightly more appealing. They did the absolute bare minimum of that with Yhwach vs Yamamoto which worked. Really well. With Yhwach vs Ichibei, no such thing happened and as a result it felt more like a conversation than a fight. And when they did fight, it was mediocre for the most part. One or two good sequences like I mentioned earlier
JJK Season 2 has awesome animation but I don't really need that type of animation. I need expanded good story and good quality animation Solo Leveling type of animation would be above the head.
It's not the problem of ultra quality animation like in JJK season two, it's animation + direction. MHA didn't have top animation in early seasons but it hit hard because of music and direction.
I mean we can have both, them having more time is definetely going to improve the animation in many areas and take time with the story parts.
I think the possibility of a Bleach remake will depend on how well the One piece remake does. I would bet almost anything that they are going to wait and see how well the One Piece one does before even attempting it.
Just finished watching the latest DS episode, Nothing in tybw ever come close to that level of animation. Pierrot films really need to deliver to make an impact.
I did too and its the worst DS season so far, there were only 2 episodes that had good animation and the rest were basic and still frames. Not to mention they used shit ton of CGI, if you take that away the show is insanely flat and they always overuse slow motion in this show which is just lazy. DS season 4 is nowhere near tybw animation if we compare the amount of peaks.

@@humblebumble203 Yes and in the manga it was much shorter and they extended the crap out of it which made it a very boring season. You can still have amazing animation moments even if its a training arc, just look at chainsaw man with the "morning routine" or some of the JJK downtime segments. Tybw did have training segments, but it was not the main focus and it still looked better than the hashira training. Keep in mind Ufotable had 8 episodes (+ 3 episode length run time)! That is very underwhelming given they had a whole year production time on it. Now they are going to butcher it with "movie" parts instead of a full season (basically AOT final special episodes all over again)🙄

If a training arc can have animation that surpass beyond even what the entirety of cour 2 can do, then something is wrong. It is clear that bleach did not reach the highs like jjk or ds due to what i just explained, and what rebirth explained in his video as well. I love bleach that is why i must criticize it so the show can be much better. Its not meant to downplay bleach or make it less popular. You have to understand that we all want the show to be better and reach new audience so bleach can truly pop off.

Examples: Yhwach vs Ichibei. The only sequence I thought was fluid was the auswählen which looked great, and Ichibei using secret hado followed by Yhwachs blut vene anhaben. But it was way too quick.
In that episode, Haschwalth vs Tenjiro looked good but it's like a 20 to 30 second fight. Ishida vs Senjumaru was stiff, Oetsu vs Askin is just talking about slurping blood so can't say a lot.
More examples would be Kenpachi vs Gremmy. Animation was decently good here but the fight was too rushed. Rukias episode was good. Really good. Komamuras bankai was decent cgi but it looked a lot stuffer than I expected.
The revived schutzstaffel post auswählen vs squad 0 looked ok. Feels more like a montages of fights than actual coherent fighting tho which I didn't appreciate but they did what they could given the time they had
The (action) scenes wasn't any good in cour 2 especially if you compared to other series like chainsaw man, jjk, one piece....
I'm not saying it should be on there levels but should gives us hype or something at least

Anime that have already drawn in lots numbers, recent numbers, that have already made a ton of money from their first seasons. Count yourself lucky that it's still better than 99% of other animations out there.

Paradise when from the first announcement they limited themselves to only 52 episodes in the whole arc sounds kinda ironic. I always though it's too little, and it shows... it shows when you see all these removed content, quick sped up battles regardless of the animation they are just gettin rushed treatment, barely anything get extended at that point, all for the sacrifice to add some spicy mythical content in the next remaining cours we didn't see yet.
They added 0 division segment which was cool, not great but anyway they needed that and completely sidelined Ichibei vs Yhwach fight, instead of making sure both battles gets done proper justice, that's what we could get if we have 15/16 eps per cour not 13, before someone jumps at me, im not blaming team for that only the higher ups.
Animation is in a weird place, saw some gengas from the cour 1 which was probably the most the most consistent season with some good names on the deck, and the gengas were way better then the final product, it's a sad thing to see. There are some sequences in the episodes, very short and brief, and then we get back to the usual stiffness with tons of zoom outs, shaking camera slides and lack of a creative touch in animation that go mostly from panel to panel, they just check them out on the big cork board and call it a day.
The recent news about Kubo getting his own desk in the production is more worrying then people think, they just though so wholesome, Kubo has eyes on things, but it's just shows how incompetent they are if without him they can't do this right, simple conversation between Yhwach and Aizen in the Muken defeated them. Also... shouldn't they talk trough reiatsu or something, pretty good conept and another kinda worldbuilding moment, it was brought up at some point in the intervirew? But no, let's just unseal his mouth and eye, and they just talk. They missed the opportunity.
It was never any kind of paradise from the beginning, not with that studio that i hoped was like it was before, Im sorry but this is not what i really wanted for Bleach.
So far the anime is good and people live it so is a paradise deal with it troll

Cour 2 story is mid compared to cour 1 kubo story additions carried cour 2 both cours weren’t great in animation cour 1 just had the highest peak of the anime so far in ep 6 and 7 but most the fights were stiff the only had solid cuts here and there. I don't have a problem wit the animation. most of the OG anime was hella limited aside from standouts but it was fine cus the team utilized their tools well. Toguchi jus doesn't seem like a proper fit to direct anythin bleach related fully so I'd be glad if he got replaced since while I don't dislike TYBW rn most of wut I enjoy from it comes from it bein Bleach & not cus the anime presented a lot of it particularly "well" imo. Animation is important but it means nothin if it can't be utlized in the proper places & Toguchi hasn't presented his capabilities wit bleach to be anythin special & seems more to hold it back a bunch. I saw the storyboard Kubo did for 1 of the eps for cour 2 & it was so incredible & detailed in its presentation(in conveyin the story not the animation production) in comparison to the actual ep which employed NONE of wut was envisioned. U don't need beautiful animation to convey the same idea in direction if u know wut u're doin & Toguchi seems to not. I want better directin rather than animation if I'd have to choose but ofc I hope for both movin forward. TYBW has slowly jus been more & more subpar in comparison to before so I hope this possible shift shakes it up in a positive way. Makes perfect sense actually. When the source material's art is really good there's more of a pressure to maintain the art style of the manga in the animation. When the art style is unrefined the animators are more free to do more expressive animation.

SIX problems:
1. Pacing is too fast like wanted to end quickly.
2. Still doesn't reveal schrift K and N stand for what. it actually doensn't take much time, just one frame one second.
3. Some characters are wasted, give Chad a fight one sternritter, give Tsukishima/Ginjo a fight one sternritter, give Nel a fight one sternritter.
4. Many of sternritters didn't have backstories. Their fighting screetime is not enough. Some of them doesn't have volstandig, doesn't use quincy teachnique, and died too fast. Please show Jugram and Uryu volstandig form.
5. Old anime did show much of flash step when fighting and have many air battle. But in TYBW, they are just standing on the ground fighting whey they could fly, almost no showing flash step and feel like no air battle.
6. The studio doesn't want to show Shuihei vs Sternrtter O like he vs Findor fighting in anime. It's offscreen fight.
None of those are real problems

I gave up on animation since cour1 (even yama 3rd skeleton kinda ruined the fight for me) and the ost wasnt too good, however im so happy with the additional story elements! I seriously doubted how far kubo would be involved but he literally fixed every major issue in the events that happened so far, amd tbh tjis is my top priority now: what story changes will be made further.
1. Chojiro getting more characterization (flashback bankai)
2. Og gotei13 flashback was a masterpiece, crom visuals to ost to how ywach was caught off guard by chojiro!
3. Ichigo vs ywach round1 extended battle was phenomenal and this gives hope for the final battle. In the manga the revelation of ichigo being a quincy was taken as a grain of salt back in tje day hiwever the anime did an awesome job to make it a really good plot twist especially with the beautiful ost
4. The bambi girls transformations
5. Ichibei vs ywach shock meeting tbat fixed major plotholes (see chibi reviews). One of my friends who is critical of bleach praised kubo as a poet and aplogized to him for not seeing the subtleties that underly bleach
6. Squad0 getting fully redeemed (just look at king of lightning reaction video, literally says it all, he was super satisfied) and Auswhallen looks amazing in the anime vs the manga
7. Senjumarus shock bankai

These fights don’t even reach OG Bleach peaks, let alone the top modern fight adaptations. We have Ep 7 and 6 giving us a glimpse at it, that’s it.
