We got free office chair from marketplace which was totally faded ..got the dye shown in video and chair looks so good now..thanks for the video..

I used 3 bottles of this exact product from Amazon. I only needed it on the head rests of 2 chairs. I used alcohol first each time prior to dyeing. They looked great upon completion but every time the product wore off. I have concluded either the product doesn't work, I'm missing a step or the chairs can't hold the dye.
The leather alot of times wont take a dye. When it is already tanned especially chrome tanned leathers
I read the key is to use a sealant after the dye.

You missed the first and most important step. All leather must be deglazed first. Period. No exceptions.
How do you deglaze the leather?

I'm going to give this a crack on my 2 couches. I particularly liked how you tried different applicators. How did they go after two years? Do you think this is maintenance to be done every few years?
Yes I do think that you would have to reapply after a couple of years.

Did you use a sealer of some sort? And can you change the color of the furniture with this?
Hi Liz! I didn't use any sealer. I don't think you can change the color. It would take a lot of product.

I just tried this on my peeling leather sofa on the cloth portion to see if maybe I could dye it the same color. My whole house smells awful and it’s taking forever to dry every time I try and buff it the dye just keeps coming off. I’m not sure what to do. Do you know how long yours took to fully dry and were you able to stay in the same room with itself was the smell too overpowering? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you so much!
Hi Steffi, when I applied the product the odor was unpleasant but not overwhelming. While applying it I had a fan running next to me and it was left overnight directly heating both chairs. I let them dry overnight and didn't let nobody sit on them the next day. Even if it felt dry to the touch. Then they were totally OK. Sorry about your experience and thank you for watching!

the dye has a conditioner and a sealer afterwards. the dye has its own website. If applying to furniture with a seal you must deglaze first as a cleaning process. clean, dye, buff dye residue, condition I think is option but softens leather increases luster, last seal. watch companies video.

Not if you let it dry completely.
