I made this mask with two changes. One, I didn't have a coffee grinder, so I used a mortar and pestle. There were a few bits of urea still intact, but applying the mask with damp fingers adds enough water to dissolve the urea almost immediately. Two, it's summer in Kentucky, so I used hazelnut oil for a lighter feel. I will make it again for sure!
I tried this recipe. It was amazing. I used polawax instead of the polysorbate 80. I swapped the percentage of oil for shea butter because i stay in a warmer climate region.I love the consistency.
Love the recipe! Would it be worth adding any vitamin e or preservatives to a clay mask like this if it is not going to be used immediately? Just asking as I am going to trial a formula I have drafted recently.
@@HumblebeeAndMe isn't that how it always is? Your hair or makeup looks fabulous on one day and you don't know why? You don't do anything different than usual that you can think of! Then the next day you can't redo the same look. It's a little disheartening! But you do look lovely and you caught it on film!
Wohoo, this looks lovely!! Cannot wait to test it! And Hooray for all your hardwork, like always. You are getting close to 100k and just few more days until the next celebration :D
I just love masks of all kinds! They do such lovely things for the skin. Could you possibly do a peel off facial mask? I think most people adore these. A charcoal peel off mask wwould be very good!
Hi love your videos, and the information you share, 3 questions, in this recipes you use an ingredient called urea, when I looked for it am only getting urea for gardening is it the same ingredient. 2 I'm trying to get on your encyclopedia and the captcha keeps saying i'm a robot what's up with that. And 3. Can you do mask or scrub for dry to combination skin. thanks much.
Hello Marie, Im asking if I wanna use ingredient X and its pH range is 4:7 for example, is it mean I should put this ingredient in my formula when its pH is within this level only no matter what the pH of my final product will be or I also need the pH of my final product to be within this range so this ingredient could be effective?
Do you sell your products humble bee? Oh n BTW you speak in such a sweet, charismatic way with nice clean method.. you know everything perfectly in place that the viewers want Your have your product rather making their own..🙂

I also have a giant page of places to shop all over the world, which you can find here: www.humblebeeandme.com/resources/. It doesn't have every country in the world, but it does contain all the online stores I know about. If your country isn't listed, that's because I don't know about any online stores in your country. You could try looking for a local Facebook group for people who like making soap & other cosmetics-they may be able to recommend places to shop.
@@HumblebeeAndMe well dadgum I read the blog first (which is why I watched the video) and looked on the list and I swear I didn't see it. I'm so sorry and will go back once again. Thanks so much

I have bought a lot of product ingredients, in the past, to make a lot of your recipes that I have found on Humblebee and I just have to ask why I find so few recipes that use the same ingredients that I have purchased? This particular one was fairly simple and I had all the ingredients except Urea but some of the recipes, I have purchased as many as 6 new ingredients and then I rarely see another recipe that I would use those ingredients for. Suggestions??
Hey Anna! I'd recommend checking out this FAQ to learn how to find formulations on Humblebee & Me using specific ingredients :) www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/do-you-have-a-formulation-for-x-product-and-or-using-x-ingredient/ If there aren't many, it could be because it's a newer ingredient and I haven't had a chance to share many projects with it, or it could be because it's very old and I don't use it much anymore-in either case, the accompanying Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/) entry should make it pretty clear :) Happy making!

hm, not sure, but i thought urea is heat sensitive.. won't it break down like that? 🤔 however, love the idea of this mask 😊
