Fun tip, take the bulbs out the old turn signals and jam them into the parking light housing, fits great and no more flabby turn signals 17-20 z650

I like these videos!! My tip: To make connecting wires SUPER SIMPLE, search Amazon for "Solder Seal Wire Connector". They're heat shrink tubes with solder in the middle, that you just melt with a heat gun.

I’d bet you could get away with the front turn signals.
The rear kit though... even in the USA, some states have regulations for how the tail light and blinkers have to be setup. Where I’m at, id get pulled over on that bike.
I need a plate light and the blinkers on the rear aren’t far enough apart. The plate holder might be okay though. I’d just have to have different rear blinkers and a running light for the plate.

Flasher relay is the best way to control hyper fast. The new relay is designed for leds, not incandescent lights. The reason you have hyperflash is the system thinks there is a bulb out cuz less electric draw. Resistors just fool the electrical system. using resistors you are not using less power to help the battery or charging system. The resistors also become very hot and should be mounted on metal not plastic. One relay or 4 resistors, you decide.

I dont love the tail tidy. Personally, I kinda like bike tails. Although, I do dislike tails that pretend to be long fenders, like the tail on this one. I believe I would like the tail chopped down, not off, and the rear blinkers tucked a little, instead if integrated. Front looks nice though. Basically, that tail is not my jam. And the five-0 in my world wants to see blinker wings from 1000 ft, integrated will get pulled over quick, fast and in a hurry. I once got pulled over because my license plate light wasn't bright enough, so they'd hit me for this too

I’m pretty sure there are a few states that won’t permit integrated taillights due to the reduced visibility in signaling. Sure, they look “cleaner” but I’d rather communicate my movements and known they’re out there to be seen

My biggest question is...Why? The "Z" tail light is a unique feature of these series of bikes. Everybody and his brother has the tail light you are installing. I bought a tail tidy from Amazon that le me keep my factory blinkers. It took me under an hour to install it and it looks amazing for $30 dollars. All preference i guess, and of course you guys get paid to make vids.
