The positional play improvements in this match engine are great, I've never really been a fan of how 3 ATB formations have played out in previous games but the way this one transitions from out of possession to in possession looks fantastic, going to give this a go!
This one is great mate. I've tried it with Sheff Wed. did second season in championship with it. First season I played with a tactic I made myself and It got me to the playoff final, but it wasn't in anyway good. Second season I tried your tactic, and despite the players failing largely to get any good game stat, I just could stop winning. It took me a good 8-10 games to get it rolling but after that I only lost 2 games the rest og the season. Even getting a record 14 straight wins over the winter/christmas spell. Only a completly insane Norwich team held me from winning the league. Third season I manged to get some very big improvements player wise and did a few tweaks. So far I played 9 games in PL and have 15 points. The lesser teams are very hard to beat but top teams I beat. With better players the performances obviously gets a lot better and im confident in building on this tactic going forward for a couple of seasons. Good job mate ;) (Y)
Very good tactic! But I tweaked it to a half-back instead of DLP and a libero on support instead of a wide centerback, that worked nicely. Also added play from the back and work ball into the box. Works good either way with them on or off.
That 343 shape, and a variant the 3412, has been incredibly successful for me in a recent Barnsley save in 23 where I scored 123 points in L1 S1, won the C'ship title in S2 with 99 points, then finished 7th in S3 in the EPL with a completely revamped squad, Notts Forest style. The trouble I had with it was in the EPL where I just wasn't able to do as well with it as I could my regular 433, so I reverted back to my regular halfway into S3. It may be worth examining what exactly is different at the top level and why the 433 overtakes it there when it couldn't rival it lower down.
Had a sucessful first season at Villa finishing 2nd, changed up for the second season and started using this tactic. So far I've won my first 5 games and 3 clean sheets. Thank you! 😁
I've used a slight variation of this one in my save with Reading: it was quite good. Sometimes things got a little sterile, so i remove "be more disciplined" and added pass into spaces, things started to get it going once again
I am new really to FM and I was on a 11 losing streak with Burnley! First game of using this and I go and beat Brighton 3-1 who are 4th in the league! thank you mate, saving my career here
Hi, I would like to see something like a mix between de Zerbi and postecoglu. With the team in the first phase building up with the 4-2-4 double box shape but later transforming to a 2-2-6 with a centre back pushing into midfield like Rodri, a fullback overlapping late while the winger cuts inside and one of the pivots pushing up to some sort of a number ten role/interior role on the other side of the overlapping fullback. The other fullback should tuck in a little bit. I think the most difficult with this is to have the fullbacks first stay wide and deep, but later overlap and tuck in on the other side. I hope this could bring a little bit fun to you experimenting with new tactics. Much love for your content and have a nice day 🫶
It would been fun to see what you can do with Martin Demichils River Plate tactic. Influenced by Pep, Pellegrini and Van Gaal but at the same time very fluent in offense where players have the freedom to move and create space for each other and runs in behind the backline
This has been a life saver of a tactic! I was just in my mid season slump with Southampton and couldn't buy a win but this just seems much more solid for holding onto results
Been meaning to comment for a while but these are great. Got promoted with Burton Albion year one, and am in the top 3 in my 2nd season. At some point I'll change to something a bit more expansive but these are very very good for underdogs and developing ball playing defenders.
Would love girona tactics since they are killing it in la liga 3 points clear from Real Madrid and Barca, and are on top of la liga, looking like champions right now!
amazing content bro. I've been a fan for a while now. I'd love to see a real sociedad formation breakdown. they're killing it in both the domestic league and ucl 🤯
Actually been using this tactic with Leicester. Got them promoted from championship as winner with 109pts with only 3 losses. Gonna see how it does in the prem. I’ve a pretty decent side so mid table should be possible and it’s what board want too.
please do a girona tactic. They are at the top of the la liga table playing some amazing unique football breaking down low blocks in what i believe to be 3-1-6 formation in possession. Keep up the good work brother. 💜💜
16 games in with this tactic and unfortunately i'm having no luck with it, won 2 drew 6 lost 8, that's with a Mansfield Town squad that's decent for League 2!
I made a similar tactic to this but i went for two dlf either side of an af and two inverted wingers instead of full backs told to stay wider but it means they tuck in when the ball is on either side. Two wcb either side of a bpd but the two defensive midfield roles change. Usually a volante and a dlp to try and recyle the ball
RDF you lost me when you showed us how we scored our goals by saying your wingers needs good passing and vision.....you are talking about Wimbledon right ? I remember when Wimbledon made their entrance in the fine room, no one had any vision back then but I guess that has changed :) Which transfers did you make before testing it with Wimbledon ? Amazing video as always and you always 'go through the screen' with your charm ! Love your videos
Tried this with a few saves at different levels, cannot buy a win. The defence is absolutely all over the place, and the wide players are completely isolated no matter what you do, or who you play. Any advice?
bro can you create template of the best training schedule? I used your training schedule in fm23 and it work so well, cant wait to use the training schedule template for fm24
Would have liked to have used it as is but FM said no, so with both starting CWBs and my 1 decent RW injured within 2 days I’ve move the RW to AM with stay wider with right wing back is getting further forward than the left and creating a lot more chances pity him as a crossing of 2. Still 3 wins out of 3
I used a PFde last year in a 3 attacker everyone else defend tactic worked well he dropped back to the DM position to tackle/receive the ball passed it then ran forward as fast as his little legs would carry him very good at arriving in the box late. Only had a striker who was good at it the rest were either knackered by half time or too slow to get into the box
theres 3 tactics in the file you uploaded, one is for away, one is im guessing for home and one says KILL- should i assume KILL = when playing a lesser team?
When you start your career, what type of manager or coach are you? This has a massive impact on whether your tactic works, for example if you're a Sunday League coach with with hardly any training qualifications then you will find the game difficult especially if you go a team like Man City as the players won't take to a novice coach for a long time. I think when you make a video you should tell people your past playing experience (I mean in the game) and your training qualifications. If someone has themselves as an elite coach with a great reputation then this tactic will work a lot better especially if they go a very good team.
I've tried! Will keep trying. Ajax are annoying to manage because they have no staff so it's all messed up but will keep trying with other teams as well

We need that de zerbi tactic where the striker drops into box midfield pls and baiting the press

Pls do a Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton, his press baiting would be intriguing to use
I had a lot of success using RDFs FM23 De Zerbi tactic in FM24 👀
Yea would also be interested in that
You're going to kill it this year with the new match engine, can't wait to see what you can do this year
Very good tactic! But I tweaked it to a half-back instead of DLP and a libero on support instead of a wide centerback, that worked nicely. Also added play from the back and work ball into the box. Works good either way with them on or off.
Won the prem + UEL second season with Brighton doing your changes, thanks mate

I hope you make an new Ruben Amorim Taktik. This Sporting CP is a beast with Gyökeres!!!
please do an updated Ange-ball Tottenham tactic for FM24 after the new player roles this version has added :) thanks RDF
Could you please explain Ruben Amorim's tactical approach?
please do a girona tactic. They are at the top of the la liga table playing some amazing unique football breaking down low blocks in what i believe to be 3-1-6 formation in possession. Keep up the good work brother. 💜💜
A Sebastian Hoeneß stuttgart recreation would be perfect to see from your perspective.

Do you think this tactic can be good for teams of 4th division of england? which kind of players we need to buy?

It's actually sensational
