this song got me through a very very dark time in my life. it means so much to me. i use to listen to this all the time back then and hope so much that i too could become a rockstar just for myself and 8 years later i can say that i deffo was able to. i am still working on being the happiest tho but my world has definitely changed since then and has become infinitely better. this song really was a beacon of light and hope :’)

Because the gender isn't specified, you can choose to think of it as any gender! I prefer to think of her as a girl since there's a large lack of female mains in VOCALOID when it isn't about love or wistful dreaming, plus either way they're bi because in the chorus they talk about getting a girl to notice them, and then they mention a man, which I interpreted as a mentor.
