With Final Cut Pro, you can create a beautiful slideshow in minutes. So whether you want to create a presentation for work or just want something to share with your family and friends, I'll show you how to make a classy slideshow and at the end I'll share 2 ways to make an automatic slideshow.

Great video. Thanks! Moves fast enough to keep attention of people who know some of this stuff. Was searching for a way to make a video with a song attached in FCP. Search engines lie their asses off. Kept finding FCP in the description and another app in the video.

All of the effects and transitions I used are built in to FCP.
New guy error (I was looking at Effects and not seeing Stylized, only Stylize). Thanks, looking forward to using these.

Great video but I am not sure why my photo duration remains 10 seconds when I checked that the preferences setting is 3 seconds. I can't find what is overriding that setting
strange. Try restarting FCP and make sure you'r not selecting 10 seconds worth of your image in the browser

3:35 Edit images without "Fill" mode, so the images will not be cropped. Use "Customize" before editing.🍄

Hi there. When I choose the “fill “ option it well sometimes cut out part of the picture that I want in the frame, so how do I manipulate the picture while keeping the same aspect ratio, and still keeping the black bars from showing on the sides?
Try None option and then use the scale sliders to adjust size.
Can we add music to the slideshow? I'm creating a slideshow for my mother who passed on Friday.
I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My mom died in 2021 and I made a couple slideshows for her funeral. I hope making your slideshow helps you heal a little bit.
Yes, you can add music. Just drag and drop it into your timeline.

I tried to make a slideshow recently, however, a few of the images appear as blank screens...ie image 1, 2,3, blank screen, 4, 5, blank..

Are you trying to make the Stylized Transition? If yes, you have to drag the numbered pins(1 to 5) to your clip so that it can be displayed on the slideshow. Tell me how it goes.
