In this mcu news and rumors video I will be honest with you, I don't like how this news is looking, a lot of people are hyped about this but I am not. Tony Stark Death was something epic and I think this should not happen because it will cheapen his death in the movies.

I’m tired of shared universes and multiverse crossovers. The MCU needs to end. It can’t go on forever. We can’t have Tony Stark Iron Man restricted to never have another interpretation and continuity ever again! We also don’t need to only have shared universe comic book adaptations in general. We are fine with Elseworlds stories like Joker Logan and The Batman that are completely standalone!
I love RDJ and everything,but Ironman should return and not RDJ.The reason why I say this is because they confirmed that secret wars is happening and they should introduce an Ironman variant.RDJ's exit in the MCU was amazing and it would be disrespectful to bring back a character that sacrificed himself for the greater good of humanity
Discontinue the MCU and just reboot the character in a different continuity. RDJ was a great interpretation, but now Tony Stark needs to be allowed to be outside just 1 continuity being the drawn out MCU! Michael Keaton’s version didn’t prevent Christian Bale Ben Affleck and Robert Pattinson, did he?! Of course not!
What the hell RDJ is doing.You finally got an Oscar for a great role in Oppenheimer.Something you would never get.If you was still in the MCU.That's character suicide right there.
They will do whatever they need to do to make money. RDJ did get an Oscar BUT MCU got him a much bigger pay day. It's just that simple.

@@gravis2000 The MCU may have given him bigger pay day.But not the respect that he's getting for his acting in films like Oppenheimer.You gotta remember,that RDJ struggled alot when he's not in an MCU movie.The only movie that was successful for him.Was the Sherlock Holmes movies.The other movies that he starred in.Like Due Date,The Soloist and The Judge did poorly.He's finally getting the recognition that he deserves now.Going back to the dead MCU.Will just kill his career.

@@marktheshark7588 Interesting thought but to your point, now with the Oscar he is now more valuable to them. His career could end tomorrow but he has already cemented his status in Hollywood.
Imagine they do an alternate timeline where he never cares about his weapons falling into the wrong hands but still becomes iron man. He would be like an evil iron man that is even more self centered than we see him as in the movies we have.
Sell Iron Man to Lionsgate or Universal Pictures. Because in terms of Disney I don’t trust Disney to reboot the character.

Endgame was NOT about Iron Man/Tony Stark's sacrifice even though it was a tremendous character arc for someone who's character said in the Avengers "he'd just cut the wire" meaning he would let everyone else fall and was all about him. Endgame was about stopping Thanos. I think if they use the timelines that are freaking available, bringing RDJ and Evans or the whole darn gang back in another time loop, it might get the MCU train back on track. Marvel has stopped telling stories and doing deep character development that invests the fan base; and the Disney collaboration is not the hill the MCU should die on. The Mouse House and Marvel should not be together. As for me the way they handled Jonathan Major's kick to the curb is why they won't see any more of my dollars. Black Panther was their first Billion dollar open and if they don't value us then I don't value them. But I believe returning RDJ to the MCU is a Mensa level good thing. Now make stories and movies that matter.

It’ll probably be another cheap “multi verse” scenario or they’ll use it to bring back the original Tony stark somehow. Either way, I’m extremely checked out of the marvel movies since the last spider man movie. I simply do not care, and won’t trust marvel until there’s a shakeup just like what DC did.
Didn't RDJ tell Joe Rogen he was basically done with the MCU and during award season he didn't have flattering things to say about the MCU? What could've changed his mind? Hmm. Let's see. With the MCU on life support, did Iger & Feige scrounge up enough of a truck load of cash to bring RDJ back? Could be. But, do we want Tony Stark/Iron Man back? How do you bring Tony back without cheapening what happened at the end of Endgame? Will the character get the Jake Soywalker treatment to prop up another character? Will he just be a cameo as Riri Williams suit's AI voice? Not sure how to feel about this news. I don't trust Disney/Marvel at this point.

Well, RDJ brought back 50% of humanity when Thanos erased them, so bring him back with the same technology he created to save the world is OK.
