I bought a crucial SSD and used acronis True image that came with it to copy operating system on it. Now i bought a NVMe and copied it again on the new drive. Works just fine. Really nice piece of software. With another software I had a problem booting from new drive with this Error: \WINDOWS\system32\winload.efi Error code: 0xc000000e
I wonder if SSD is locked by BITLOCKER, is it possible to copy to anothre storage disk? I don't know the password to SSD and I don't have any information to BITLOCKER, PLS, give you idea ?
Is there a version of Acronis that doesn't have all the security stuff? I'm using it on an offline PC...there is no security risk. My PC can't be outdated...it's offline. I connected it once to activate windows 10. I've been getting Acronis for years with WD hard drives... the oldest version I have found is 2013. It does a fine backup but, when I try to use the rescue media it says 'failed to detect graphics mode. I tried putting vga=ask as a parameter and it still didn't work. I just want the simple Acronis like the 2013 version. Windows does ALL of that crap that Acronis does. Example: install a program, windows smart screen comes up asking me if I want to run this program (absolutely useless prompt) Then Acronis will have a window popup in my systray that asks the same thing..... it's stupid!!! lol... anyone know of another back up prog like acronis 2013?
Your video is helpful to me and I wonder when you say "When I clone my Wife's Lap Top C drive to this SSD, Acronic will delete all data and partitions and reformat the drive". I also intend to clone my disk to a new disk using this tool but it's hard to choose the most suitable option which is option 1. It means that when choosing option 1, the "source disk" will be erased and formatted? Just 1 like for you :)
Just to clarify...I did clone the c drive on my wife's lap top to the ssd that I removed from my pc...this became the target drive and it was reformatted during the cloning.
@@DrTMathAndMoreOnline It is clear that the data on the source disk is still intact and safe (not erased & formatted), only the target disk is erased and reformatted before proceeding to copy data from the source disk to the target disk. Hope this is true. Thank you @Dr
I am trying right now to clone my disc with this program. It says 1 day remaining?? Is it that a glitch or just how acronis works? Dam, that's slow... A day? Really? I have a 7200 rpm drive to clone to... why is it so freaking slow?? This is dumb... what if I was running a business and needed my new drive to work?? Dam, they totally ruined this program.
@@galimirnund6543 Yes but now you will have to install all apps plus all the files, and that's going to take for ever lol, with acronis just take 3 hours and everything will be ready to run smooth. 😆😆👍👍
@Aftermath You are absolutely wrong, Acronis makes a clone, I have been doing this since 2014, every 4 or 6 months I clone the entire HDD to have a back up ready, and the clones work perfectly in the same computer, obviously if you are intending to use that clone on a different pc it won't work due different drivers.
Si es poderosa su PC si, si no es de muchos recursos preferible que no para evitar un mal clonado, pero tan solo lleva de 2 a 3 horas teniendo casi 1.5 gb de informacion, o sea super rapido para tal cantidad de informacion. 👌👌😀😀

I have the 2021 version, and I never renewed the security options when my subscription expired.

Never had that issue. It usually would take 1 to 2 hours depending on the number of files and programs.
