Chris is right that if you do not spend your ads budget it is a demand issue. It can be seasonal tho - that same budget for example could be consumed quickly around Christmas. So please don't think you need to overhaul your ads strategy because it is June. It may just be a slow sales period. Thankfully, Etsy gives us good stats for each listing and we can make educated decisions to change periodically.

I have my ads set at $1,000 a day. I have over 600 listings but I'm only advertising about 150. I typically spend between 95 and 150 dollars per day on ads. My issue is with the r o a s which I can never get to a place where I feel Etsy ads are great. Off-site ads give me a much better ROAS, than Etsy Ads. I really don't like that Etsy just indiscriminately spends ad money, but I also feel trapped. If I don't spend money on ads I'll get buried (I'm in the jewelry category) I spend a lot of time fine-tuning my ads checking what's over spending what's not converting etcetera but I still struggle with getting a decent ROAS. For example the last 30 days of etsy ads my spend was $3,982 and my Revenue was $8,299 as opposed to off-site ads, I spent $131 and the revenue was $1,144

I just wanted to say that I love your channel! I've been following your advice closely, and even though I've only been running my e-commerce business for two weeks, your guidance has already provided me with a lot of direction and focus.
I do have a question regarding the importance of our Etsy page in relation to ads. I understand that branding is crucial, but I'm curious about how much attention buyers pay to the 'About' section and banners. Personally, as a shopper, I usually buy what I want and leave without exploring those areas. It was only when I decided to become a seller that I started paying attention to these details. How significant are these elements in attracting and retaining customers I know it is impt if we have our own webpage but on ETSY i am not sure, or it is impt because we are running ads and people may decided to pop in and take a look.
Thank you for all the valuable insights you provide!

Buyers DO pay attention to the about section, but that's not typically going to be the thing that makes or breaks your shop or ads.
There is no reason not to have them properly filled out (it only takes a few minutes), but i wouldn't spend an intense amount of time testing and tweaking them.

@@brandcreatorsAll the data will not help if you are buried by mass market junk and constantly have to spin your wheels trying to keep ahead of it. Push Goimagine on your channel. Maybe they have a chance to be what Etsy promised it would be and failed. I still do well enough on Etsy to stay but I am moving my energy and money elsewhere.

The few times a spent $100 a Day on ads I only got 1 sale. It’s not worth it for me as if I go below $100 I get no sales.

If you're spending that much and not getting sales, you have a problem with either the keywords leading to clicks or the listing itself.

If I’m only getting single figure organic views would I be wasting money paying for Etsy ads. I’ve worked on my SEO a number of times but no improvements. I got sales when I first listed my items but nothing since. I don’t do any advertising for my second Etsy shop but get weekly organic sales
