Diesel engine, also known as internal combustion engine or CI engine, was named after Rudolf Diesel. Diesel engines are internal combustion engines in which the fuel ignites due to the high temperature of the air in the cylinder due to mechanical compression. The diesel engine is used a lot in machinery such as water pumps, plows, cars... In this restoration video we restored the old diesel engine that was broken. After recuperating the diesel engine was in good working order. I have many shortcomings myself, hope everyone will share their experiences. We will do better in the next video. Cleaning injector parts in liquid full of dirt 😳 should change the nozzle and lap the parts before reassembly ! Those nozzle are cheap to purchase usually they are Bosch DNOSD ***. Nice restoration !😊

Diesel fuel would have cut right through all the old grease and oil just get a couple of gallons and let it eat the stuff off the block.
We also use diesel and gasoline to clean the inside of the machine

We just clean up the dirt that gets on the device on the river. Oil and grease on the machine we use gasoline to clean at home. Thank you for your comment
Sorry to be negative but i cringed when i saw the condition of his hands while installing the piston rings and the condition of the piston during installation. i was trained differently and when my mother saw me rebuild an engine at home she said but you work just as clean as a doctor. My work area, tools, part and my hands had to be scrupulously clean.

This reminds me of a giant 1 ton 4 cylinder engine from the very early 1900s I saw in the woods on my friends hunting property. I think it was for an old oil pump or something like that he told me .someday I’d like to drag it out of there and see if I can get it to work.although now that I think about it I remember being able to see the crankshaft though an open panel and water being inside....

Phục hồi cái gì ông ơi. Đâu phải máy nào cũng mang tháo ra hết vậy. Quay bánh đà coi còn sức nén k. Nếu còn vệ sinh dầu là nổ. Ông tháo ra sơn lại xấu quắc.
What make and model is this engine? How old is it? Where did you get it from? What was it used for? It's nice to know the history behind these restorations.
This is a water-cooled D4 diesel engine. it is over 5 years old. It is used to pull water pumps. I was given a gift from a friend. thank you for watching

I think that the best way is the notch of first and third ring on the same position, and the second on the opposite 180 degree, it will make best closeth.
@@winstonsheu1193 makes no difference, rings spin in the bore. First time you start it your lovely ring staggering is a waste of time.
