We have the “name brand” of that at work we use everyday for environmental work and it runs about an hour everyday. It works a treat for removing air bubbles for different tests we run. Had it about 2 years or so after our last one let the smoke out and it’s ran flawlessly.

I know this one is cheap, but I am hoping it lasts for a bit. We will see..

Wait....you pull and clean your throttle body once a year...... I don't even remember the last time I cleaned my throttle body on my Jeep

Usually I am in there doing something else and clean it when I am there, but yea I try to make it a once a year thing. To puyt it in context though... I put almost 30k on the Jeep last year.

quick tip : add hot or boiling water to your cleaning solution.
The device does heat, but is more intended to maintain rater than heat up all the water and product to the set temperature.
Much more effective with hot water added

I prefer to use purple power it cleans aluminum really well just don't use it on polished aluminum

How about doing spark plugs, old tbi unit and maybe some brake parts.
    Pretty cool how those work.

All three of those would be really interesting! Thanks!

$200 is a bit spendy but when you work on as much crusty old stuff as you do prolly a good deal...if it lasts.

I agree. I wanted one large enough to put a 4 bbl carb in

Nice video. I just cleaned the throttle body for my Tacoma, but wanted to also do it for my 2001 WJ. Pretty sure it's never been done before and we've owned it since it was new. Don't know if this car has a Mass Air Flow sensor, but would like to do that as well. I have the cleaners for each, but wanted to get your take on it as your my everything WJ Wizard. Take care and be safe out there.

Your really turning into a Jr Mustie1 (that’s not a bad thing)… I think he has the exact same unit. He uses gunk carb cleaner from a gallon can.

Not trying to sound like a smart ass but simple green is a surfactant / cleaner. Solvents typically dissolve things. Water can be a solvent.

Just got my cheap chinavirus cleaner today thinking 5.7Gallon size meant 5.7 AMERICAN gallons..bought to throw my jeep 3.7 intake manifold into but it turns out i gotta flip it a few times and ill only be able to clean half of what i can see 😂 anyway.
Cleaning the fuel rail next, for internal passages whats the general consensus?
Holes(where the injector connects) holes up? Or holes down?

Long term investment is the best now. I invested $3,500 in march and i top up my trade with $200 every week.
Now, I'm having over $87,000 on my dashboard. Toping up your trade is really important
