Yes sir you are my favorite on UA-cam. Your narration, your filming, your love and respect for nature, and of course your food. Thank you so much for all you do!
Well Chad, It is good to see your well thought out van and backcountry videos again. My wife and I enjoy your videos. We lived off grid in southeast WA for 18 years. It was only our health that got us off the mountain. Thanks for taking us back.
I love that area. I live in Central Washington and drive to that area every now and then. The views are gorgeous. I got stuck in a snowstorm in Republic back in February. Was only about 10 miles or so from Curlew Lake. Beautiful area.
Hey Chad glad to see you and your new whip doing the van life again your video's are such an inspiration. As we know time is money I putting this on my retirement list because an adventure awaits us all we just need to get out there and do it. Thanks for sharing and keep on trucking.
Welcome back. We have missed you. You do make the best videos and music selections. Jim and Judy-Adventure76....76 and continuing our advent since 1962. You are an inspiration. Thank you.
Pure poetry, well said words. This is why we're out there, either if it's on the adv bike, van or trail hikes with a backpack. Just get in to the wild and be one with nature.
Hello Van Man, I'm kind of stuck in my comfy chair in the den but your wonderful Van Man program takes me out to the beautiful state of Washington and its parks and back to nature and gives me a wonderful form of entertainment I can find no where else. Thank you so much for your high quality entertaining programs. I never tire of them. Carleton
I was wondering the same thing. Haven't gotten a progress video in a while. He mentioned a long time ago a the filming was done, just needed to be edited
I hope some day when you’re old. Your remember these epic adventures you did when you were young. How you brought 1000’s of people along with you that shared your epic adventures even though you were alone. Best wishes Andy , in the U.K.
The old house reminds me of Oregon. My cousins live in Dufur and The Dallas. I remember when I’d stay up there in the summers we would go for picnics up in the mountains near Mt. Hood. I like how you have the drone up over you and following you. Your photography is amazing. I could watch your videos all day. Keep on traveling!!!
we,ve nearly finished our Trek trailer and , with our trusty Landrover will be doing a fair bit of overlanding , it is truly a life changing experience cheers Chad, nice video.
Little tip 👍🏻 when you crack the garlic and slice it add a little salt before you dice it and then if you keep working it with the back of the knife and dicing it you’ll eventually get a nice paste 👍🏻
My grandpa was born in Washington in 1904 my dad 1933 Tacoma area great job man! O yea I was born 67 in Oakland ca! Love to see old old school Washington! Thxs!
Oh man I love this stuff Chad. Those drone shots of your van and landscape at the beginning were so good. Some of the compositions I would print and frame. Then that fun shot of you dropping the kindling into the fire to make the neat stack. I mean this stuff is great.
In 2014 I was in a very bad relationship.very abusive.so,one day when she was out running errands.i packed all of my belongings, bought a Coleman stove and a puffy jacket. I moved into my 2004 Mitsubishi montero.the best decision I have ever made!I can't express the freedom one has in living in your vehicle! There was a short week of a learning curve, but after that it was incredible! Everyone should live in their car,at least once in their life.
Great to see you Chad! How Beautiful are the Mountains! I'm very Thankful also for all I have! I can only imagine living back in those times! Great Cooking😍
I need your cookbook man!! Always getting ideas from anything you put together!! Great video as always fellow Washingtonian!! Safe travels and take care!!
Chad, so glad to see that you are still using your SoloStove Ranger. Bought mine in early ‘19 after watching you in the snow and the very first thing I did was make navy bean soup as soon as the UPS guy left. A couple of months ago my new bride wanted the Bonfire for our mountain wedding party but my Ranger just keeps getting the work load. IMO, the Ranger is the best all round stove/fire pit the “Overlander” can have. Until a burn ban. Lol. See you outside.
Beautiful video Chad! The drone shots, camera work, sound and editing are top notch. Not to mention the cooking! Dude you rock. Blessings and much Aloha
My favorite spot for "overlanding" is literally 30 minutes from my house. 20 minutes over paved roads, and 10 minutes up a moderately well maintained dirt road to the parking lot where it intersects the Appalachian trail. Camping is whatever you can afford to do in the time you have to do it.
Love following you. We even say: Hey, Chad uses this, Chad does that on our trips out in the woods haha and I’d have food for days with one of your meals but sure looks delicious 🤤
I love the way you push it to the limits on your travels. Great magical fire lay why do we always insist on torturing our knees breaking firewood everyone does it.
Asian stir fry over couscous.. Interesting! That is some different fusion going on there. Thanks for the video, Chad. Lovely to see you rolling in LTVL again.
Not gonna lie but there's something along the cooking scenes that always excites me
Absolutely 100% true! I think they’re very well done and aesthetically pleasing in a way that you get curious and build an appetite every time
Inspiring
I couldn’t agree more
i thought it was only me
Absolutely amazing
This video editing is so professional, you'd think there was a film crew following.
Totally outstanding.
Chad is actually a professional film producer, check the video description. He’s quite talented when it comes to piecing these videos together for us!
Yes! He has made some awesome documentaries
you have no idea how good it feels to see one of chad's videos pop up in my recommended
True
😂
I know right
Agreed

these are the types of videos I prefer...seeing one's adventures...tons of "here's my van" ones but it all about the adventure....keep them coming!
Well Chad, It is good to see your well thought out van and backcountry videos again. My wife and I enjoy your videos. We lived off grid in southeast WA for 18 years. It was only our health that got us off the mountain. Thanks for taking us back.
These videos you are releasing are outstanding! The editing, the content, the scenes, the sound, everything is top notch
I want to see more of the van inside, what’s the bed like to sleep in?
Yah me too
He is not going to show his hand just yet! He will make probably the best van tour video ever!! He will keep us coming back.
Chad probably hasn't found an advertiser to build it out for him yet
Alex/ the bed was part of the side Flares = the Flare/Bed Package
The drone shots with the music choice... *chef's kiss*

Good to see you back Chad. Looking forward to the next video already, all the best from England.

Your music and cinematography always make for a great video and this one is no exception!
Ive used that fire making technique so many times because of Chad's videos. Works super well 🤙
The military took me away from eastern Washington, and your videos just remind me of how beautiful that state truly is, I miss it everyday
I was there 16 years ago, more towards Okanogan. And visited Oroville too. Beautiful place!!!
Excellent Buddy It seems That You Genuinely Live Your Life With Soulful yourself Only In this world.
I am always hungry after I see him cooking outside over the fire!
Me too
Yes - yum- ! I’m thinking he used to be a chef
Again, another awesome experience captured on camera. Way to go Chad, God bless.

A nice time spent away from the hustle of town culture. This reminds me of english poems
Gourmet cooking on the fire! I enjoy the quiet while you are preparing those dishes.
I was having a practice cook of goulash on my solo stove this evening ahead of a trip to the highlands of Scotland can’t wait.
When are you gonna be showing more of the inside of your van?
Yeah! We want to see inside the van!
Yup, was going to post the same, was disappointed with the lack of van living in this one! Would love to see Chad hunkering down in the new rig!
I bet he's just waiting till it's done. I was thinking the same and figured he probably got sick of sitting still and took a break from the build.😊👍✌
Yes, ideally a full walk around vid will be coming soon
Gotta keep the audience in suspense abit first ^^
we,ve nearly finished our Trek trailer and , with our trusty Landrover will be doing a fair bit of overlanding , it is truly a life changing experience cheers Chad, nice video.
Thank you for amazing videos!
Just seeing how to make really good meals while not having a full kitchen, and to visit camp grounds is amazing!
Glad you're back now. New van is a beast also i love how you are open about your food choices.
Thanks for another awesome video Chad!! You are the OG vanlifer! There is only 1 guy who compares to you!!! But UR the best!!!
Little tip 👍🏻 when you crack the garlic and slice it add a little salt before you dice it and then if you keep working it with the back of the knife and dicing it you’ll eventually get a nice paste 👍🏻

That meal looked delicious. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Good to see you slowly coming back.
Your videos remind me a lot of Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations" series. You are a master at what you do good sir.

I really enjoy watching the backwoods cooking. Keep it coming.
Drove that road that’s a former railroad line along the Canadian border last summer. It’s a neat one for sure.
Beautiful scenery up there in the north. Thanks for sharing...
Thanks for another great video Chad. The road has been on my bucket list for a bit and this video works it up a little higher...
You have the coolest van, Chad. Keep on truckin'
Love following you. We even say: Hey, Chad uses this, Chad does that on our trips out in the woods haha and I’d have food for days with one of your meals but sure looks delicious 🤤
Looking good. Glad to see you back!
Chad!...you deserve a round of applause for these kind content and effort you put behind these videos
washington is very sublime beautiful landscape when you give us a guided tour of your new van
I love the way you push it to the limits on your travels. Great magical fire lay why do we always insist on torturing our knees breaking firewood everyone does it.
wonderful! booking campsites now for the summer. Thanks for the inspiration Chad!
Winced every time you swung and hammered that hatchet with your hand right there in the slip zone.
So nice to see an outdoor video again. Beautifully filmed (next time soak the mushrooms before adding them to your stir fry - happy cooking)
Chad really is the man, great perspective as always
So who are those folk giving this excellent piece of work a “thumbs down?” And more importantly why?
5:50 that transition was smooooooooth
Glad to see the Solo Stove is holding up. They really should be a sponsor.
Chad doesn't buy a single thing without a sponsor he is such a sellout.
Enjoying another video of yours! Love that coconut oil and mushrooms!!
Asian stir fry over couscous.. Interesting! That is some different fusion going on there. Thanks for the video, Chad. Lovely to see you rolling in LTVL again.
You're in a beautiful area. My dad grew up in Tonasket and I always went over there a few times a year. Aeneas Valley is a must see!!!
How cool, I live in Oroville Ca I watch your videos and like what see. "keep on truckin"
Pacing through the forrest, shutting the hot enginge off and giving it no chance to cool the turbe charger down. That one won't last long...
Awesome bro! Just bought my future overlander and I’m so stoked! Thanks for the inspiration
Love your Videos Chad, and that meal looked so good, honestly I might just copy that for dinner tomorrow
