I can't be the only one that thinks the classic van content is awesome! Don't get me wrong the sprinter is a cool build but I just love that old Westy. Happy you kept it. Cheers from Canada

Being a Volkswagen guy, I also prefer the Vanagon adventures. The Sprinter is a beauty but there's just something more nostalgic when you're doing an adventure in a 30 plus year old, classic VW. Everytime I get in my 1967 VW bug and do my errands, it takes me back to a much simpler, slower pace and time.
I always enjoy the cooking parts of your video's. This one was perfect as I remember as a kid in the 1970's camping in the desert east of San Diego. After a day of dune buggies and dirt bikes, The food always tastes better being cooked over a campfire in the desert.
The Vanagon is definitely cool. Like you, I also enjoy getting out in my 67 Beetle.
Not goin to lie. I miss seeing you have a small cup of whiskey with your meal. I don't know why, just seemed like it hit different lol. Like hell yeah, you've earned it bro
I will admit that I do enjoy the videos with your VW so much more than the Sprinter Van. I know that may sound crazy, but life seems so much more simple with the VW... and of course the smiles that a VW creates are certainly worth the effort. Thanks for sharing!

Wow. Little van that could indeed. I had one with stock suspension and less beefy tires and mine would have given me issues just about any campground without pavement lol.

It was cool to see ya in Bellingham during the folk festival, glad you're still rocking the vanagon! I drove mine up there and it was fun in the snow!
Between me and my ex girlfriend I think we have been through about five different Vanagons. All of them reflect some of the best times I've ever had in my life. Our entire relationship was based on getting on the road! The last one we had was super nice with a Subaru engine conversion and we sold it for $32,000! 😂 talk about a cult following! It's also fun to be driving down the road or even driving down the freeway and you see a Vanagon going the other direction and they have their arm out the window waving at you!

We live in the desert on our own property inside a converted bus. There is something about the solitude of the desert that draws you out here. It's peaceful and beautiful. We live about an hour from Vegas, and when we want to have some fun, there's so many places to go , but it's nice to be able to escape the big city. Damn, that is a nice Bluetti setup. I would love to get the power station. We have a great solar setup, but in the winter, when it rains for several days, we often lose power at night, and I'd love to get a Bluetti like that.
