The defense lawyer said some people feel the need to protect their vulnerabilities, Reeves vulnerabilities were/are that he feels fully entitled to shoot/kill someone he feels has shown disrespect to him, as he stands full of self-entitlement and remains used to being obeyed and in control of others.

Exactly. So now being an old bully is another reason you can get off with starting an argument then using lethal force when you get your feelings hurt.

How tf he able to shoot a man when open carry is illegal? Stand your ground ?? The man who threw the popcorn didn’t even have a gun? This is a cold case and if a black person would’ve done it he’d be in prison for life. You can’t even take guns in a movie theatre see how the law do? It’s fucced up if it’s your time it’s your time ain’t no wrong or right

You absolutely can take a gun into a movie theatre. Who told you that lie? Did you just make that up? The signs they post carry no weight in the eyes of the law. If the movie theatre staff suspect you are they can ask you to leave, in which case you absolutely have to leave or it’s trespassing with a firearm, it Carrie’s severe penalties in Florida. It also does not matter if the other person has a firearm or not. You can kill someone without a firearm, obviously… I’m not familiar with this case, and if this guy just threw popcorn at this other guy, that is not a legitimate self defense shooting and the court really screwed up and set a dangerous precedent, which could cause legislators to do away with a law that is very well written imo and essential for citizens to not be criminalized for legitimate self defense of their life.

@@KamalasManyAccents he absolutely could carry concealed if he has a permit to do so. The no gun signs mean nothing at all. All they can do is ask you to leave and if they do, you better just leave immediately.

It is some bullshit and he only got away with it because he was a police officer but to you’re points is if the victim would’ve been black they would have fried him. So the racism works both ways.

It's been a year since you posted this, and yup. We've seen a quite the statistical increase on a specific situation, being repeated.
It's gross the only option everyone has, is to simply ALWAYS carry, have dash cams, and record on the phone the second something starts up 🙃😔

@ryanpohara43 she's referring to the fact the killer got off "because he feared for his life over popcorn pieces"; so many people say they are scared of the other races simply because "they just are" when asked.
How are you supposed to teach your kids to interact with the world when society else is wrongfully teaching their kids to be afraid of yours?
I would be terrified in today's day and age to be another race; and I guarantee you wouldn't want to be another race either.

“Thou shalt not murder” is the original writing. Christians are peaceful, not harmless like we’re portrayed.
Exodus 22:2-3 “If a thief is caught in the act of breaking into a house and is struck and killed in the process, the person who killed the thief is not guilty of murder”

@chief10133 keep virtue signaling, the guy was texting in a movie theater.
Old guy was being a hard ass since he had a gun on him, and he can't wave a badge around when people tell him to mind his business.
He made it a way bigger deal than- let's check notes again, texting in a movie.
So dangerous, such a necessary action for an old asshole to shoot him over......
