- This is Mia, she’s done around 40 hours driving lessons from a complete beginner. This is her second mock test with me. In her first mock test she made one serious fault.
This video was recorded the day before her driving test.
Mia drives really well but made a few errors during her test.
This video is filmed during a driving lesson. It is filmed for educational purposes.
Throughout the video there are highlights to show how you should be driving safely.
I hope this video will be useful! :)

Love how she challenges you on the things she doesn't understand! It makes you go into more detail & helps her & others like myself more.
Passed this morning with 1 minor, will most certainly be joining the ‘watching for leisure club’
Really well done 1 minor is amazing!
😊😊
@@ClearviewDriving my examiner was really nice as well, I feel like the person you get on the day makes a huge difference as well :)
Passed today with 0 minors! Thanks for all your vids, they have helped me a lot :) I did the Ashford/Staines test route.
Well done!! That’s really good, 0 minors! 😃 😊
@@ClearviewDriving Thank you :)
0 minor is that even possible 😭 you are brilliant
I love your videos, I failed my test the other day and so upset but hoping for the best for my next one in 2 months :( x
Thank you for watching, good luck with your test :)
Good luck friend, you will smash it!
Did you pass?
By all mean you are the best driving instructor 👍
:)
Your the first driving instructor who's said to check both blind spots when moving off. My instructor said the same incase there are pedestrians etc, aslong as the one on the side your moving off into is your last.
Great teacher! Standards have changed.
your reaction at 6:50 is too funny 😂😂 literally how I feel when I let someone drive my car lmao
Everytime I see Aman calculate the mechanics bill makes me bust out laughin...but its a learner car so its expected...german cars are built like tanks anyways...all is good
Hi I loved watching your new channel, and the content is great. Could you release a tutorial video of how to perform the emergency stop? Keep up the great content :)
Thank you for watching, yes I will do that :)
She did good, a little bit of practice and she will hopefully pass. She needs to stop the coasting. :)
I know coasting is when u drive with the clutch down . But how can you tell ( as a passenger )does the car make noise ? Does it ruin the car in the long run ? Tia
you will feel the car seems to pickup momentum, it just makes it harder to stop quickly.
Your brake pads would get worn away quicker over time.
@@ClearviewDriving thank you !
Aw she’s a great driver! Does straight lining the roundabout mean she wasn’t positioned enough to the left?
Hey yes so she didn’t stay in the left lane as she went into the roundabout
As there are two lanes in the roundabout she needed to stay more left so if someone was on the right they would not be affected by her position
Great video! If possible pls do one long drive solo video :)
One day, in the distant future I will be able to drive like her )))) Until then I keep watching your precious videos.....
Hey Aman, a quick question. 14:14, when you start on the right lane to go right, it naturally takes you to the middle lane on the roundabout. Whilst on the middle lane at 14:16, can I not turn right whilst on that middle lane as it easily takes me to the left lane. Do I have to move to the lane infront of the hatch markings? Hope to see your reply, Thanks :)
7:09 Wouldn't that be a minor for parking parallel to a junction? @clearview driving
"SHOOT" is the PG rating to SH**! 32:30 Great drive and take on board whats being said...Outstanding instruction as usual Aman..
Very good teacher. Will help.with driving test
good video:)
First of all, thank you for all your nice and educational videos! I'm from Greece!
Secondly, could you please on your next videos put the camera on the dashboard, if it is possible and safe for the driver.
Finally, can I ask you why they are waiting for the traffic light in the 1st gear and not in the Neutral? Because in that way they are damaging the clutch disk! Here in Greece we are not learning to have the pedal pressed in the 1st gear when we are waiting either in the traffic lights or in the queue! Thank you very much for your excellent job and many greetings from GREECE!
Hey with new drivers there’s generally a lot of things to do and it would just make them panic when traffic lights change to go into gear and then move off
With more experienced drivers I would advise that
But yes it’s good practice to take the gear out while waiting
i love your videos mam! Thanks a lot for sharing! i learned a lot on this video.
Thank you for watching :)
Forward bay parking - are you allowed to get our heads out whilst going forward into the bay in order to see the lines is that a serious fault ??
Hey with bay parking in general, you can secure the car and open your door to check if you’re unsure of how you’ve parked
You can readjust
Just don’t take ages :)
I jumped 2 meters up when you said STOP
Hahahah I was aiming for that affect 🤣😂
Congratulations Mia
Good video. Hope Mia passed.
She's passed
did she pass
Yes just passed this morning with 3 minors
Video will be up soon
Please post that video with the polish girl, the one where you had to use the breaks because she nearly killed a woman on a zebra crossing 😂😂😂😂
First pull in move off is great driving, but poor choice of place to pull over- opposite a junction and there are arrows indicating vehicles move over to the left
Hey yes the second pull over is opposite the junction, but its good practice as you do get asked to park up along this stretch of the road. Yes the arrow indicates to move back to the left if your overtaking (but that mainly applies for the double get approaching to the left)
i want to learn how to drive a car but i am cunfused i don't know witch one to get aromatic or manual please reply my Comments
Hey this is a matter of preference.
Automatic is easier to learn as there’s only two pedals. It’s just brake to slow or accelerate to speed up (much easier to just focus on the road than think about the controls of the car)
Manual has three pedals and you have to keep changing gears depending on your speed (coordination between hands and feet all while driving safely)
This takes longer to start with and some pupils struggle with this
Once you get the hang of this, it won’t be too much
I prefer manual personally
I passed on Wednesday 6 two hour lessons and 1 hour before test..I'm 66..
Well done! ☺️
Safe driving
Quick question, at 14:14 when turning right, are you also able to use the middle lane instead going on to the right one?
Hey the lane we started with allows us it go ahead and right
You would use the middle lane to go ahead only
To turn right you would need to be close to the roundabout so it’s best to go over the hatches lines to get into the new lane
She first give signal after see minor.
Otherwise good attitude driving.
Result?
She passed with 3 minors
Will post the video up soon :)
@@ClearviewDriving Congratulations to both of you
I wish they told us how many lessons they had so we get a rough idea on how many lessons we need.
Mia, must always, check the mirror, and when she goes in round about, she mustn,t go the mark, line, in 3 line, in the middle of the round, about, always move with the signal, going left or right,
Hey does your car have blind spot mirrors or do you teach students to shoulder check? Thanks
I always teach my students to look over their shoulder for the blindspot checks, I do not have any additional mirrors :)
I feel like I would have done her same 1st major fault cause I'm so focused on exiting the roundabout that it's hard to see cars flying past from behind
😩 learners make mistakes like this but with more practice it will get easier to avoid these sort of faults
Lane talk was funny, driving without thinking. She need more practice that's all.
Do you not find your students tend to stay in first gear a little too long? Like at 10:05 I can hear the engine cry for a good few seconds
Yeah new drivers generally hold of on second gear until after turns
With more practice and experience they will get the gear changes in quicker
Why does "securing the car" involve putting it in natural? Is it because you don't turn off the engine?
Whenever you park up you should put the handbrake on and select neutral and then you can release the pedals.
As we are driving off soon after it’s not necessary to switch off the engine :)
@@ClearviewDriving okay, so that's why you're not putting it in first gear? Because you're driving off soon?
@@Daye04 neutral and handbrake to park up
And only select first when we are driving off.
In the test you would be asked to pull over and park up 3-4 times and then move off again soon after
@@ClearviewDriving sure, but so you're saying that you put the car in natural when you park and leave the car as well? Is that a UK thing?
@@Daye04 yes so neutral handbrake
Some driver have a habit of leaving it in gear to park
But I would only do that if my handbrake is not working or dodgy
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Could you show your method of roundabouts
Hey I’ve put a few videos up on roundabout talk throughs :)
@@ClearviewDriving il have a look thank you
If the second emergency stop attemp is still not quick enough, what kind of fault is it?
If the emergency stop is to slow on both attempts you can fail the test
The examiners will usually consider your overall drive to make that decision
Secure car is imp once emergency stopped
✌️✌️🙏🏻
Hi dear I want to just ask you are you examiner or instructor
Hey I’m an instructor
Hello!
did she passed?
Yes she passed first time with 3 minors!
