Thank you so much for this super video. It was so informative and loved the detailed step by step technique you showed. I truly appreciate every cake decorating tutorial of yours. You are so talented.
Yes! But it's not as thick and sturdy as acetate so you'll notice it buckling more as you attach it to the cake, and you might have more ridges to smooth out with your frosting smoother
This is fabulous Emily and I just bought acetate for the cake I just produced as a Pull Me Up cake. Are you going to try any of those types of cakes for your channel? Kindly, Theresa
8:38 Again I was amazed at what type of designs can be done! A sudden disability cause me to search out some thing I could do but was creative so I picked making and decorating cakes.
Hi! Do you think that’s it’s able to frost a design like “starry night” by Van Gogh. It’s a bit more complex. So I wanted to if you’ve tried it before. Thanks!
I haven't tried that but I don't see why not! Just print it in mirror image to trace over and then when you transfer it to the cake it will be the right way around :)
That's completely lovely how you did that is it possible instead of tracing a design just to pipe your own design on acetate? Thank you for sharing and as always keep on caking
Hi...she said in the video it's her 4min BC...American BC. It sets hard in the fridge. She also said she has not tried with other creams so she doesn't know if it works.
This is a cool technique thanks for sharing 👍😊 suppose I wanted to draw a heart with the words "its a girl" inside the heart. Would this technique work if i followed your steps? 🙂🙂
Yes but you'd have to write the words backwards since the side you're piping will be pressed against the cake. If you print the letters and flip the paper over so you're tracing the back of the letters, then they'll face the right way :)
You are my favorite person I've got a challenge coming up I've got to make a 3 D jeep cake one that's standing up I don't use fondant I use your buttercream recipe do you think you could make a Jeep and do a tutorial on it please
The creation is great. There are no word that could describe it But it s a real pity that there are chimicals involved in almoust all the cakes. It s very hard to do even in home a healty cake noawdays. I miss the flavours since when I was little.
It's definitely a bit of a messy technique! You can find lots of videos showing the prettier side of cake decorating, with all of the mess cleaned up between every step and only showing the picture perfect moments, but on my channel I like to show the whole process including the not-so-beautiful moments because when I was starting to decorate cakes I really wanted to see the real thing, not the polished version
This was so therapeutic to watch I'd love to see a whole montage of different designs added to cakes.
Not what I was expecting it to look like

Yay! Thank you!
That looks cool!
Thanks!
What a great idea! Thank you!
I love this - can you use parchment paper rather than acetate?
Yes! But it's not as thick and sturdy as acetate so you'll notice it buckling more as you attach it to the cake, and you might have more ridges to smooth out with your frosting smoother
Very beautiful, will there be condensation, how to avoid it, because at room temperature, there will be condensation, just say it's a garden party
What did you do with the peeled acetate sheet?
Love that cake thank you.
Thanks for watching!
So clever!
i always look forward to your videos.
Thank you! That's so nice to hear!

This looks nothing like the original work. But I learned what might go wrong in attempting this so thank you for that!

Hi...she said in the video it's her 4min BC...American BC. It sets hard in the fridge.
Amazing awesome innovative fantastic
Beautiful
Thank you!

Absolutely! Piping it freehand is fine - I just have almost no artistic skill so tracing works best for me :)
Nicely done. Thank you : )
Woooow thanks for rhis beautiful
My pleasure 😊
Is this buttercreme.can be with whipping

What is the name of this transfer sheet
It's an extra-tall acetate roll for cake decorating: www.amazon.com/dp/B07NYQQ83T?ref=exp_britishgirlbakes_dp_vv_d
What is the transparent sheet called?
Acetate

What happens when the cake thaws? Will the colors smudge?
No, the buttercream will set in the fridge and after sitting overnight at room temperature the design looked the same.
You are my favorite person I've got a challenge coming up I've got to make a 3 D jeep cake one that's standing up I don't use fondant I use your buttercream recipe do you think you could make a Jeep and do a tutorial on it please
That sounds amazing! When is it for?
This looks dangerous. Love the effect but in my hands would be a Frankenstein monster.
Bello
WOW!!!
ABC frosting?
Is it buttercream frosting or Whipping cream??
It's my 4 Minute Buttercream (recipe link in the video description)
Nice video. I’d be eating all of the leftover icing. 🥴

This is brilliant. Wish i can find tall acetate in my country, all i can find is short ones
The creation is great. There are no word that could describe it But it s a real pity that there are chimicals involved in almoust all the cakes. It s very hard to do even in home a healty cake noawdays. I miss the flavours since when I was little.

😍😍😍😍😍
What a mess! 😅 😂 😂 😂
it’s different from the picture😧its not beautiful
Your opinion. Nothing is perfect
@@thesecretlifeofbuns4336 Jennifer is right , this is not well done at all
girl i've never seen so much mess in a video where you were supposed to learn a technique wich is a disaster .

looks a mess and cracking off....
That's right. Transfer all the germs and bacteria from the notebook onto the cake. Lovely.
No part of the notebook touches the cake - it's the opposite side of the acetate you're piping onto and then transferring onto the cake
Flop 😂
?
it's very ugly for sure , it's a mess
Beautiful
