Thank you for another enlightening message Rabbi. I did not understand how or why a question from a parent asking how to reconcile kindness to HaShem’s animals, with our using them for food. You said that animals shouldn’t be tortured, but not necessarily treated with kindness . Huh? I cannot agree with “selective kindness “ Rabbi. All living creatures were made by our mutual Creator, with His love, artistry and blessing. We are clearly charged with honoring this entire creation , with kindness,care, and respect. Surely, that is the assignment that we were given. BH

IYH in the name of R. Zion Nefesh shlita this source of treasures (treasures of ‘free gifts' )was revealed to Moses in the portion of Vaetchanan, in mercy.

Rabbi.. does Leviticus 26 have anything to do with the current state?
As the Rabbi actually says about three minutes into the lecture, it does. He just uses the Hebrew name of the Tôrāh portion which includes most of Leviticus 26, namely פרשת בחקתי.
And, yes, the animal state may be a punishment reincarnation- but I have no directive to “assist”our Creator in that respect: Thank goodness! BH
