I like how you minced that onion. I'm going to have to steal that trick. 😁 This dish looks like a delicious, healthy comfort food to enjoy during our winter here. I even have Saffron thanks to your recipes. ❤️
Those buildings at the beginning of your video…just beautiful. What a great dish to make. Simple and easy, love those sort of recipes. Thank you Albert
Albert: Delicious... easy and a MUST-make/WILL-make, as I have all the ingredients now. *_I❤BEANS !!!_* Thanks again. (Fan from San Francisco, California.) *!!~
Goodness albert you make the most delicious looking food ever.. I’d gladly pay a fortune just to try some of your dishes made by you. But that’s why there’s recipes so I can make them. And I will ACTUALLY make this stew, since it’s winter and beans are amazing:)
Hi Albert! Thank you for this video! ❤❤❤ My uncle likes cooking stews too. His stews are really tasty. Today, we made bacon that we fried, and also pan toasted bread. We had it with christmas mustard. I wish you a good afternoon! Ciao! 🎉🎉🎉🥳
Looks delicious and as you say heart healthy. I am just doing my weekly shopping order and have added four tins of white beans so I can make this as a winter warmer,
I love that you use canned beans when you can. It makes it a short and wonderful meal. However, if you get the dried beans and cook them in broth and spices (Like we do), recipes come out a lot more flavorful as you flavor the beans as they're cooking slowly. Not everyone has time to cook dried beans, but if you find yourself in a position to do so, it just gives more layers to the recipe. People always believe that beans take a long time and they can if you use a crock pot. But on the stove, it takes just over an hour in many cases. Actually cooking most beans on the stove takes a lot less time than cooking them in the crock pot. The benefit of the crock is that it cooks slowly so you can start it in the morning, leave it all day, and use them in the evening. While canned beans can last a very long time, if properly dried and stored in an airtight container in a cool dark place, dried beans can last practically forever.
When I was working I definitely didn't have the time to cook dried beans. Except on an occasional Sunday. But now that I'm retired, I think I'll take your suggestion. Sounds like a good idea. l love very flavorful food. What spices would you use for this recipe?
I make huge pots of bean soup with just onion celery and bay leaf. It's delicious. And the leftovers I freeze and use as "canned beans" I did this with other Spain on a Fork recipes. Brilliant. Love this kind of food. Thanks for posting 😊
Amazing. Great as always. I love the broth side of this kind of dishes, i'm gonna make it for the winter is cold. Brothy dishes are underrated. Without using fatty cream or cheese and pure flavours.
OMG! Looks delish and so healthy. Will be on my week's list for sure. Are you working on your recipe book? I'm printing and /or copying and sending to my family and friends. Thank you!
Albert, I wonder if you would like smashing the garlic with the side of your knife before chopping it. Doing so is supposed to better release the nutrients in the garlic, and as a side benefit it’s much easier and quicker to chop afterwards. Just a thought. Recipe looks delicious. I made your alubias blancas en pepitoria a few days ago and loved it.
Hi Albert! What would be for your suggestion if using pre packed cauliflower rice for this? I am making your seafood paella with cauliflower rice tomorrow and I know your suggestion in that video is not to use stock so it doesn’t become mushy - so just wondering what you would suggest here. I’m trying to avoid rice/pasta/bread/potatoes along with red meat and dairy to try to bring down cholesterol levels (recommendation from my doctor!) so your vegetarian/pescatarian dishes have been the majority of what I’ve cooked over the last couple of months ❤️
Thank you for another great recipe that also happens to be vegan-friendly.
Much love :)
The bag of white beans in my pantry has been waiting for you to post this. Thank you from both of us!

Add in the less broth, then add in the cauliflower rice almost at the end :) Much love
@@SpainonaForkwould you say half a litre or a quarter? Or less? Or no broth at all? Thank you!
👍👍👍

Kind of like Cajun beans and rice, but less spicy and no andouille sausage.
I always LIKE but this time I did it to get rid of the 666. Superstitious today. Keep warm and cozy. It's cold here too.
