I trained at Golds in the early 80's . Mike was a regular and one of the nicest PRO's I ever met. He had a cool Bull Terrier named Bulls Eye. Loved his Preacher pose!

Visited his office in LA back in the days. Met him for the first time in 1988 outside gold gym when he was supposed to complete in the Mr. Olympia. Very nice guy!!

Saw him on stage alone for a demo in Cannes, french riviera, in 1986, what a beast, and Gaspari the following month... Gaspari stayed 3 hours at the gym training his back. I stayed 3 hours at the gym training : back, chest, arms, shoulders, legs.... 😂😂😂 but most of the time watching him... Cool decade for BB...

Mike also had a sportswear collection in Germany. With the name Platinum Wear. I still have a pair of pants from it today.

god bless you man... i followed your path thru th e80's and am glad to hear that you got to train with Bruce Lees's contemporaries... I got a week with dan inosanto and have been tranging with the old school guys for 27 years..... unreal... so much knowledge loved and lost.. bodybuiding was awesome and I followed some fo the craziest regimes... I know you trained with Mentzer... you should have collaborated and destroyved the Weider/Shwarzenegger empire... I mean 37 dessicated liver tabs every day???? I was hitting the eye of a needle at a 100 yards! whtf... hahahhaahaaa... al the best love Mike and yours,
Sir Mike you are amazing ,sir you are a excellent bodybuilder ,you still have it king ,show time sir ,when you in London ,check out muscle work gym ,i use to love your sport wear in the 90s I win lots of those EFBB bodybuilding competition to become British champion many times over .I was inspired reading all about you in flax magazine back in the day .think you sir mike ,to day im of to the gym ,to work out king 🤴I was a skinny kid in 1978 when I took up weight training to build some bone ,and some muscle ,thank you sir .❤
