A very informative video covering all important aspect of pH measuring. Hope to see more videos like this in the future, perhaps covering different parameters such as dissolved oxygen or water ammonia level measurements.

Thanks for the support! Looking forward to introducing more videos like the ones you've described.

Fuuuuck I just wanted to know if an electronic tester is a good idea for my pool and I accidentally became a water quality engineer.

What are the things you need to consider when testing substances for their pH level?

Doesn't a reading of 6 pH have 10x greater conc of H ions than a pH of 7.......not the other way around?

I am thinking the same too... The lower pH means higher [H+] concentration!

I got the Hanna ph pocket tester but I still can’t use it as it never goes to zero when I put it on,it keeps reading continuously even when I haven’t dipped it in any solution pls help

it shouldn't go to zero when you turn it on; if it did then that would mean something extremely acidic is on the end of your probe. If you are storing it in a solution, when not in use; it is just reading the pH of that solution. Just rinse it off with RO or DI water and then use it on what you are wanting to test.

The content is interesting but it sounds like he's talking with his head in a bucket. The lapel mic is picking up echos from the walls of the room.

why does the thumbnail to this video have a graph saying soda is a base? pretty sure that's wrong, and soda is an acid.
