I was a big fan of Neil Young in the early 70's, haven't listened to him for a few years now. I think I'll get the old CD's out and buy some beer and cigarettes this weekend😊
@@mariandavis7953 yeah my partner done this when I was I guess asleep one day not feeling good I love Neil Young I think he has a Ronnie Van Zant t-shirt on I think my partner missed that but he knows about the we have a documentary that's an hour long where we react to Southern Man and Sweet Home Alabama and break the stigma down about the so-called fight over that song
I was never a big fan of Neil Young, though I did enjoy the Harvest Moon album, but I have been pleasantly surprised after hearing some of his work. This song in particular really surprised me. I just love the combination of melody and heaviness.
It's a MUST man......go for it ! Long live NEIL.....and Oh Canada
@@Newfie-zc7ug hey no doubt man we have a whole Canadian playlist and we know some Canadians are really good friends with them what Neil Young song do you want us to do next and if you want me to I'll leave that link here where I did the collaboration on Southern Man and Sweet Home Alabama
The director of this film is one Bernard Shakey AKA Neil Young
Haha, totally! Who doesn’t love a good old Neil Young twist in a film? That guy keeps us on our toes!
Not really his grunge era.
@wadehines9971 yeah I just can't put the connection together there but then again like Alice in Chains I didn't think that they should have been considered grunge
I think Rust Never Sleeps is the Neil Young and Crazy horse album that is cited as an influence on the "grunge" movement. I just remember reading the "Godfather of Grunge" thing a while back. Should be noted that Kurt Cobain quoted "Hey Hey, My My" in his final note and Eddie Vedder among others has praised Young as an influence, so the statement is not without credibility.
Utilize.......don't analyze........
It is a reaction video, so a little analysis is to be expected. I don't think I went overboard with the pauses and, honestly, at 15 minutes this is pretty compact by the channel's standards. In guess what I'm saying is that I'm not sure what you mean.
