Thanks for the video. My new air 840 is beautiful also but the hygrometer had to be calibrated it was off by +5% when two of my calibrated hygrometers were on point. Called new air and they were great and helped me set the RH gauge down -5% to much both hygrometers.
Literally just took delivery of the NewAir 840 AIO. Sadly, it arrived and was missing the hardware (screws) for the door handle. They are not pre-installed inside the door, as I have seen in many reviews. This won't prevent me from getting the system up and running though, as the screws are inside the door seal. NewAir said I should have the screws in 3-5 days. Also, notably, is a change... actually elimination of the drawer center dividers. They simply are not there in the new units. When I called NewAir about my door screws, I asked them about this. They said the change was made as a result of customer comments and recommendations. They also changed/updated the digital unit to improve temp/humidity accuracy (can be off by +/- 3 degrees). Nice to see a company that listens to, and acts on customer input!
Great review! I t is definitely time for an upgrade from my 4.2 cu.ft. Whynter. Although my current system has no issues and has protected my cigars over the last several years I like the development, look, disign and functionalitiy of thie NewAir product. I never plug my unit in, I just use Boveda Packs , but when I get this one, I will be sure to keep it plugged in.
You do product reviews exceptionally well. Kudos to the photographer with the videos as well. Newair should be very proud. Huge improvements in the new model. One day when I "come up" I may consider this as an option. BTW, do you know when these will be back in stock? They are already out.
How’s it holding up? I think I my thermoelectric new air is dying and looking at a replacement. Any input would be most helpful. Thanks and keep up the good content
Hi, iv’e recently purchased Liebherr cigar electric humidor. I have cuban cigars. What is the best temp and humidity level? I can control both of them from 16-20 degrees Celsius and from 68% to 75% relative humidity.
Nice review! I agree moveable drawer dividers would have been nice. My unit's humidity setting varies by 8 points form my calibrated hygrometers other than that it's a great unit.
I’ve been looking at mine it’s been off by about 2 points, but I can live with that. I’m sure they’ll keep updated, and upgrading their units. This unit is definitely top of the line though.
Hey RR! What’s the minimum amount of cigars you would keep in this unit to keep the humidity stable? I have around 150 but looking to grow my collection. Thanks 👊🏻
Hey RR! Great review and definitely will want one!! Question - I got a similar unit and the lowest I can get it is 66/71RH? Is that safe? Thank you bro
@@RonRealTV My temp is 66 and humidity is 71. I appreciate your feedback bro. That unit you got is sick!! You and Tim are my go to reviewers and cigar content.
@@RonRealTV It has a same reservoir as yours, cools and ventilates to control humidity. It’s a Liebherr XS200. It was a gift. I can’t go lower on humidity because the hygrometer is off by 3 degrees so it’s set at 68RH but actually is 71. I have two other hygrometers calibrated inside that read 71. It’s definitely at full capacity. Just wasn’t sure if 71RH and temp 66 was safe to store.
The fact that you have to fill that gigantic reservoir every week tells me that compressor units are just a bad idea for cigar storage. When that compressor kicks on, your RH is dropping to like 50% easily and then just bouncing back an forth between that and your RH target all day long.
Not really. I’ve only found 2 other companies (with units comparable in size) that advertise heating/cooling/self humidification....they are priced substantially higher. True, this isn’t for everyone, but for the target demographic it’s a no brainer.
have had nothing but horrible experience with my Newair humidor and the customer service is deplorable.I have had issue after issue and ZERO support. Do NOT buy their crap. And if you do good luck with talking to someone.

Best reviewer I’ve ever seen in the humidor space! Thank you.
Crate unboxing man! Love the b-roll!
Got mine!!!!!! Love it Love it! I hear additional drawers and hardware will be on sale this month!!! A must buy!!!!
This is a beast! Flat out.

Hey brother Ron! You picked up a good product in the Newair 840. I received mine two weeks ago. It's an amazing humidor. Enjoy!!!
This unit is crazy! Even without getting one sent to me, I’d be in on this unit. Haven’t seen one in its price range close to this.
RonRealTV great review family
One of the best reviews I’ve seen on this. Thank you! I do see it’s a couple years later. Any thoughts on it?
Got to get me one of these 840s!!! Enjoy
Ron!!!

Man, that’s the only other unopened box of supreme leave toro that I’ve seen, other than mine. Excellent cigar collection.
Great review bro! Impressive unit. Now we need a new cigar review Ron!!
Excellent review fam..... gotta try and get one
Very nice!!! Great review! I'll need to invest in one of these some day.

Brother Woods! Appreciate you. This model is definitely a step in the right direction. Hopefully they’ll be back in stock soon.
Awesome Video and Thanks for the info and $ Price on it! 😎👍
Excellent review. Just checked the website. They're sold out. Also sold out at the Home Depot 🤦🏾♂️
Awesome review as always ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Did you need to calibrate the built in hygrometer? Is it even possible? And how accurate is it? Thanks and Great Video
Men I missed the live, but great review. I have the 300h and I love it. Maybe if I behave my wife will let get this one... doubt it 🤣🤣😅.
Welcome to the beard gang Ron :-)
😎 at least for a little bit! Lol

The man the Myth the legend RR 🙌👏
Good review, how has it performed???
YoooouTuuubbeee! You, Lee, and Amaya best reviewers of this product thus far! Glad there's a lock on it. Keeps my girlfriend out my stash 🤣🤦♂️
Luckily the wife doesn’t smoke 😂😂😂
Keep up with the good work 💪🏾👍🏾
Is this unit a good model for a guy who wants to store cigars in their original cedar boxes?
What's up my brother!
I love the review. Keep up the good work.
Just thumbs up and sub!
Best review I've seen on this unit.
damn good review. I want one. Ill have to see what kind of Christmas sale they have. Thank you @ronrealtv for the great review.

Great video, I was hooked until the price point. Hope all is well fam
Appreciate you, T! The price will definitely turn most away, and that is okay. I’m sure they’ll work on a smaller version of this.
Peace Ron... nice piece of equipment..💯
Is there a reason you like your humidity low?
It’s just a preference. They perform better cooler and taste better to me.
@@RonRealTV 👍🏼 thanks for the response BOTL!
@@rich33888 you bet 👊🏾
Is the 10% code no longer available
How long can we leave it untouched after filling?
Hey RR! Great review and definitely will want one!! Question - I got a similar unit and the lowest I can get it is 66/71RH? Is that safe? Thank you bro
That should be more than fine. I personally just like to keep my cigars cooler but 66RH should be perfect for most people.
@@RonRealTV My temp is 66 and humidity is 71. I appreciate your feedback bro. That unit you got is sick!! You and Tim are my go to reviewers and cigar content.
@@friscokid4144 what are you using to humidify your unit? Do you have it close to full capacity wise? All this matters.

@ronrealtv Is the compressor on your unit fairly loud at times? The fans are dead silent, but my compressor is louder than expected.
My fans are very quiet! My compressor will kick on periodically, but never for long and it’s not terribly loud.
How accurate is the humidity setting? Does it vary from top to bottom?
Pretty close. The most I’ve seen in a difference between an external Hygrometer was 2 points in the couple of weeks I’ve had it.
My unit varies from calibrated hygrometers by 8 % points
I have mine set to 72% which yields 68-70% for the bottom drawer and shelf and 64-65% for the top two shelves.
Question: After you use the reservoir of distill to season do you remove it or keep it refilled inside?
Completely up to you. I feel that using Boveda, Humi Smart, or other similar comp ones works well and doesn’t require as much maintenance.
Nice review mi hermano 🔥🍂👊🇵🇷
Luis, mi hermano 🙏🏾🙏🏾💯
Great job
Nice review bro!
👊🏾👊🏾
I like it and got to get it!!!!!
This is a unit for you for sure. 💯💯
Hey you know how to keep it real ..,from you boy rob in ft worth nice humidor

Really good looking humidor 👍🏻 Just too small 😂

I like these thermo-electrics; but for me, they simply aren't big enough.
They are supposed to be releasing an even bigger model, from what I hear.
This is not a thermo-electric cooler, it is compressor based cooling.
How’d the wife allow that?? 😂
$1,800 fuck that shit.
Way to pricey

Prestige import does one as well. Similar in size, but good luck finding one under 2k.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Buy another BRAND. If you need support your screwed.
