Morning Field Report for Central Oregon Waterfowl Saturday, January 4th, 2025 Backfield Dip Setup

Well, we are back at it once again. Back in the field setting, decoys in the flooded dip. We did okay today. Some ducks were flying but not as good as it was on Monday. Lots of geese around, so we increased the spread from a couple.dozen to 6 dozen silhouettes, socks, and full body decoys. I'm looking for some colder weather to hit before we run out of time this season. There have been a few cold mornings, but nothing has been sustainable. I hope you were out pursuing those ducks and geese this weekend as well. Got get it!!
