    This was perfect as a vanity desk for me. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMAlHv7-BBWMrPRm5-uEoD6rtdT7SG2Qr Especially the glossy finish. Easy to cleanI was looking for something that wasn't the traditional white and with more of a modern feel. This fit the bill beautifully. I put it together with no problems, by myself in under an hour.Make sure you double check where you place the drawer tracks before screwing down. I had one track that needed to be aligned with different holes than the rest.

    This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxkNYRBJuiJ6EwD-tQSAlxg0eFKsnR2cgz I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seems to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

      @1982MCI 4 роки тому

      Ashish Minj you don’t need details. You use whatever measurements that will work for you. The details are so easy to figure out on your own depending upon the size you want and the materials your using. He was only projecting an idea and what he did. It’s up to you to figure out everything else if your gonna try to build one yourself. It’s not as hard as you think it is Brother, if you can screw together a table or bookshelf that we buy in big box stores or furniture stores nowadays then you can build one of these. You can even borrow or rent the tools you need but don’t have so that’s another obstacle removed from your paths. Just get out and do it brother!!!

      @CurmudgeonExtraordinaire 7 років тому +1

      That's why you should always wear socks, long boots, and long pants (heavy jeans) while welding. Plus a welding apron and leather gauntlet gloves at the very least. I have a heavy t-shirt that I usually wore when I just needed to do a quick weld and figured I didn't need to put on the leather apron. The front of the t-shirt is full of holes from sparks and there was a burn mark on my stomach and chest for every one of those holes at one time or another. Luckily, I don't scar very easily, so there was no permanent physical damage.
      And yeah, a spark in the ear really does get your attention.

    You too can "DIY" this project if you have the following tools: metal chop saw, welder, angle grinder, router, plasma cutter, a stable steel table to bend metal on, multiple clamps and straps, industrial table saw, brad nailer, air compressor, cordless drills, circular saw, electric sanders, calk gun, industrial scissors, putty knife, hammers, socket set, and an air paint sprayer. Not to mention access to industrial metals, cement board, grade A plywood and ceramic fiber insulation.

      According to your list, I would only need a plasma cutter and a "calk" gun. I got a caulk gun, but it won't dispense "calk", only caulk. Those building materials are pretty easy to find. So not fail. Maybe fail for you, but not so much for me. You build up a lot of tools owning a house and a project truck.

    I have long thought of making something similar but using a steel structure and ceramic tiles, no wood. Do you think that I should still use the Iso-Wool to line the channel for the firebox?

    What do you do if it rains🤔.. do you bring in the table inside? Can you? 🤨 .. and how many time do you use it? .. I mean do you have party/big family dinner this every night?.. dont get me wrong. Great job, really beautiful work.. but is it worth it? 🤨🤨

      with concrete board and ceramic insulation you would not even feel the heat on the bottom of the table.

      ACarCalled Mercedes, ya I was gonna ask if there would need to be vents added for airflow, if u wanted to have an actual fire (rather than just coals/embers) in the centre
