I was rummaging through my old video cassettes to watch because I still owe a vcr and I decided to watch Disney Dinosaur, an underrated disney animation movie, and at the beginning lady and the tramp was showing and this song came on and I was like "oh. Yes.... Those were the times." I just held my heart as my heart melted. I miss those old days when music still touched the heart and soul.
I had never heard the full song until recently! I remember it from the Lady and the Tramp II trailer...always thought it was so beautiful...I love the whole thing. :D

I hope you were able to find your mother. Being abandoned by a parent is one of the hardest things for a child to have to go through. My dad left us when I was three and it is a void I have neve been able to fill. All I can do is promise my own children they will never have to be abandoned like that.

I listened to this song for years. As a young woman I took it for what I thought it was... Once I lost my "compass" it meant so much more. 10 years after the passing I still tear up.

2 1/2 yrs ago I lost the Love of my Life to his battle with Degenerative Heart Disease. I just cant let him go and I dont even have the desire to even Ever want another man in my life. Guess I'm Still Holding Out for Him.
I totally understand that how I felt about my ex my ex b/f. and Now I really love my orthopedic surgeon but he doesn't feel anywhere near me and he's married of course. I never have him,so I just accept it and dream on. when I was there for my mri report, he seemed off and very subdued,so I wanted to thank him for the wonderful job he did. I'm going to a spine specialist, not at all happy about it. since he's not doing the surgery, it up sets me even more. I also think someone told him some thing about me.

This song is utterly depressing and sad...my heart hurts just listening to it.
I didnt get to say good bye to one of my grandmas cause I was workin out of town. I was in the hospital when grandpa decided to pull the plug on my other grandma. I still miss her. I didnt want her to go but I trust grandpa made the right choice to end her suffering.

I used to listen to this song back when my girlfriend at the time (Hillary) broke up with me. We would always get back together. However, it took on a completely different meaning in 2003 when she passed on. 8 years later I am still holding out for her.
